Eternity

Hi Guys! This is my first FF (I know pretty much everyone writes that, but it doesn't matter ^ - ^) and I hope you like it! It's not always logical and the title doesn't fit either, but that's my fault! If you like Kikyo, it is better not to read this story because I have not always described it favorably. Please write to me, because I want to know if you like it! By the way, the story takes place after the last TV episode that ran on rtl2. It would be good if you know your way around Inuyasha, because I haven't written an explanation anywhere. So: raise the curtain and go!

1st chapter

As so often, Inuyasha and his companions were looking for splinters. Having fought many demons lately, they had run out of wound-closing herbs. That is why Kagome went into the forest alone with Shippo one warm summer evening, as the herb only opened its flowers (which they needed for the ointment) in the moonlight.Kagome was bending down for a bluish shimmering flower when she heard a rustle. "Psst, Shippochan, be quiet," she asked the little kitsune. "What is it, Kagome?" He replied in his squeaky child's voice. "I just heard a noise". "You have good ears, Kagomee .... That's your name, isn't it?", Came a cold voice from the bushes to their right and none other than Kikyo emerged from it. Holding a bow in her hand, she approached the girl and the kitsune menacingly. "You?", Kagome just managed and stared at her supposed "prebirth" (I hope you know what I mean, but I couldn't think of a better expression). "What do you want from me? ". "I'll tell you about that in a moment," she replied and turned to Sippo, who was still staring at Kikyo with a stunned expression on his face. "You're disturbing," said Kikyo and held out his hand to him. "Careful !!", Kagome shouted, but the warning came too late: Kikyo touched Shippo's forehead and just like she had once done with Kagome, the little fox couldn't move anymore."Why are you doing this," she yelled at Kikyo. "It's very simple: You stand in my way." ° I beg your pardon? °, thought Kagome, ° In what way am I in her way? What did I do to her ?! ° "Inuyasha feels too much for you. If I were alive, I would heal his heart, but now you do! I cannot allow that!". Again she took a step towards Kagome. "But Kikyo, Inu Yasha ....." "Shut up !!", Kikyo thundered and suddenly shot her arrow. Kagome was too surprised to dodge, but tried, or it would have been a fatal heart shot. The arrow only hit her in the side, but with such force that she almost passed out. An unprecedented pain ran through her body and blood soaked her uniform. Kikyo was just a marksman. Shippo's mouth had opened in a silent cry of horror, he could see everything. “You don't deserve to live, you're just my cheap copy!” Kagome thought she was probably not listening.° Just a cheap copy? ° The words couldn't get out of her head. Anger spread through her body and she straightened up with a groan. She was already jealous from Kikyo because Inu Yasha couldn't forget her and now she was insulted and put down in the worst possible way. Everything collapsed on her, her anger at Kikyo, which she had been carrying around with her for so long, now had to get out. ° So this is how she thinks of me °. She clenched her fists and with the last of her strength she screamed: "I ... AM ... BUT ... NOT ... ONLY ... YOUR ..... CHEAP COPY !!!!!" at her last Words had formed a pale pink aura around her, which now erupted with a vengeance and hurled Kikyo away. ° What, this girl has magical powers? ° it could not withstand them (anymore). She wisely fled. Now that Kagome had used up the last of her energy, she swayed and finally collapsed. When Kikyo was gone, Shippo awoke from his stupor and jumped to her with tears in his eyes."Is it over now? Do you have to die ?!" "My little Shippo, be brave now. Run quickly to Inuyasha and the others and get them," whispered Kagome. She had lost so much blood already. "Hurry up!! ". Shippo wiped the tears from his eyes and swore, "I'll do my best !!" and ran away as fast as he could. Kagome watched Shippo disappear into the darkness. She couldn't move anymore. ° Inuyasha, please come quickly! °, she still thought, then she passed out.

Meanwhile Inuyasha walked restlessly around Kaede's hut. Somehow he had such a premonition as if something bad was about to happen. "You've been gone so long, shouldn't we even check whether everything is okay?" He asked the group. Miroku, Sango with Kirara on his lap and Kaede sat around the fire and talked quietly about Naraku, who was getting stronger and stronger. "They'll probably just want to be left in peace ..." Miroku reassured him when Inu Yasha's fine ears perceived a noise."Someone is running in great haste!" He shouted and rushed out the door. The others followed him. ° Maybe it is a demon with a splinter, in any case it is not Kagome, I would have recognized her sweet smell from a great distance. ° Shippo rushed towards her completely out of breath, his face reddened, the running had strained him. Immediately it gushed out of him. "Kagome has been attacked, if we don't start right away, she'll die !!!!" Tears rolled down his face. "What?" called Miroku. “We have to be on our way !!!!!” Inuyasha had bowed her head. Without a word he grabbed little kitsune and stormed off. He had guessed it. Kagome was in danger and he hadn't helped her! If she needed him, he wasn't there. Shippo showed him the way and Miroku, Sango and Kirara followed them, only Kaede stayed at home, so she couldn't keep up. But she was also very worried. ° Then I can already prepare everything °Of course Inuyasha was the first to arrive and when he saw the bleeding Kagome lying on the floor, it almost broke his heart. ° Oh no, it won't ..... ° it shot through his head and tears filled his eyes, but he pulled himself together with all his might. Crying didn't help, he had to learn that through hard lessons in his difficult childhood. He knelt down next to her and took her hand. His heart was beating wildly. Relief flooded him as he got her pulse
could feel. But the danger was not over yet. Meanwhile the others had also arrived. “Kagome !!” Sango rushed over to her. She had lost all her family except Kohaku and now her friend was going to die too? No, that couldn't be done. "Who was that anyway" asked Miroku the question. "That was ....." Shippo started but Inu Yasha finished the sentence: "Kikyo". He had turned away. It was only when Miroku had spoken that his eyes fell on the arrow, which was still in Kagome's side.Only Kikyo uses such arrows. ° Hate, sadness, anger and disappointment, all these feelings were floating around in his head. Without paying attention to the questions and protests of the others, he picked up Kagome as carefully as possible and carried her to Kaede's hut. ° Why, Kikyo, why only? It has nothing to do with it! °
Kaede was already waiting for her. But she turned pale when she saw Kagome's condition. "Who was it?" she whispered. "Kikyo. I will look for you and confront you." ° Kikyo? ° thought Kaede. ° She has truly changed. To do this to the innocent Kagome ..... ° "No, Inu Yasha", she said more calmly, "don't go. Kagome needs you now." "I'm going to Kikyo for her!" was the answer. “No, you don't. You go for your own sake.” He didn't know the answer to that, so he turned around and walked away.
As Kaede was tending to Kagome's wound, the others arrived. "How is it with you?" Sango asked breathlessly. "She will survive, but a little longer and she would bleed to death."A little calmer everyone sat down and Miroku asked Shippo: "You were there. Please tell us everything" so they listened to the kitsune as he told everything and left nothing out.
Meanwhile, Inuyasha was hurrying about restlessly. He knew Kikyo was nearby, because he could smell her sweet scent on the one hand, and the decaying smell of death on the other. Finally he found her. The first time he wasn't upset by the sight of her, because he knew what she had done to Kagome. ° Why did you do that? Just why? ° always the same question haunted his head and then he literally shouted it at Kikyo. "Why are you pulling her in there? She has nothing to do with the matter! It's a matter between you and me!" "Do you have any feelings for her?" Kikyo smiled coolly at him. "Don't you prefer the original? It's just a bad blend of mine!" "That's not TRUE !!" Inuyasha had anger. "She is Kagome and not you!If you want to get revenge, it's on me, but let Kagome out of there! I also thought she was you, but it's not! You are completely different! "° What, is he still defending her? °
Inu Yasha knew the conversation would lead nowhere, so he turned around and went to Kaede. He couldn't understand Kikyo. She had been a pure miko, and now? He chased away his thoughts because he wanted to see Kagome quickly now.
Miroku, Sango, Kirara and Shippo had already gone to sleep because Kagome was no longer in danger of death. Kaede, however, was sitting by the fire awaiting Inu Yasha's return. Finally she heard something and he entered. When she saw his face she knew he hadn't gotten anything out of it. “How is she?” He asked with a worried face. “She's over the mountain.” He leaned down and studied her painful face. Kaede now left him alone with Kagome. "Kagome, I'm sorry, I left you alone," he whispered."But from now on I will always stay with you and protect you with my life" He squeezed her hand as if in confirmation. It was true, he never wanted to leave her again. The thought that she could have died ..... no, he shook his head desperately. That mustn't happen. I need her ..... He didn't leave her side all night.
The next morning, Kagome was feeling better and the first thing she saw was Inuyasha still holding her hand. "Inuyasha," she whispered, still a little dazed.
