She ran, fast, faster and faster. The blood pounded in her veins and she was trembling all over. Although she was close to fainting, she kept running. Stitches! She felt exactly how they pierced her body like sharp needles, but she gritted her teeth and ran on through the darkness. She couldn't stop, otherwise they'd have her! She looked back frantically. Nothing! Nothing but the black of the night and the bright cherry blossoms that the moon made to shimmer through its glitter. But it was there. She knew it well and it was getting closer to her. Left and right, she saw shadows in the corner of her eye. She closed her eyes and increased her pace again. She fell and opened her knees, but she didn't feel the pain! When she looked up, she saw traces of blood. All over!! On the ground, on the trees, even the cherry blossoms were reddish in color. She got up and ran on but after a while she sagged again. Suddenly there was no wind. The last cherry blossoms fall to the ground and the moon that had just played with them disappeared behind the clouds. Tears came to Yoshiko's eyes. The shadow had caught up with her and she began to sob. She felt the cold seeping into her body and making her unconscious.
“NO!” A scream broke the night. The owl that was just sitting on the old oak tree in front of the shrine startled and frightened flew away. A red-haired girl sat upright in bed. She was shaking and her delicate hands clenched in the blanket. The sweat of fear ran from her forehead and her beautiful blue eyes looked blankly into space. The light came on and an elderly woman came in. "Oh my god, Yoshiko !!" She grabbed the 16-year-old by the shoulders and began to shake her, "everything okay? Say something!"
Slowly the eyes filled with tears but the expressionless gaze remained ...
"My poor child!" Yoshiko leaned her head against the woman's chest and you could hear her whispering softly, "Mother!" Her mother began to stroke her head, "that's fine, it was just a dream!" “but he was so real!” Yoshiko closed his eyes and enjoyed the warmth. "Do you have your delusions again ??" Her mother looked at her horrified. "Come on try to get some sleep, you have school again tomorrow!" she tried to calm Yoshiko down. The girl sighed, her mother has never understood her and would never understand!
Her mother pressed another kiss on her forehead and then switched off the light! "Have a nice dream!"** next day at school **
When Fumiko heard a dog bark, her ears twitched. It had to be Yoshiko! She ran down the path to the portal and there she saw Yoshiko with her Golden Red River coming over the gravel path. "Morning Yoshiko!" Yoshiko started to smile when she recognized Fumiko's voice. "Good morning, Fumiko! Would you like to lead Jacky ???" She offered Fumiko the leash for her dog. "If you don't mind ..." Yoshiko grinned from under her big sunglasses, but her eyes remained just as expressionless as always, "if you give me your hand you can guide him." "Okay" Then they both left, chatting through the big school gate to her class.
~ big break ~ (* lol *)
"Did you have another dream like that ???" Fumiko looked worried at Yoshiko. Both sat in the far corner of the school yard, that was their favorite spot. Almost never anyone came here. Yoshiko was sitting on the handcrafted wooden bench and Fumiko was sitting across from her on an un-fallen tree.Yoshiko looked to the side "Yes, and this time it was worse than before. You see? I could really feel the pain this time ... and imagine!" Yoshiko's mouth formed a smile and she whispered "I could even see!" Yoshiko closed his eyes and seemed strained to hear "You're playing with your rings again!" she grins. Fumiko looked at her astonished "How do you know that ???" "I can hear them beating together!" Yoshiko smiled happily. “I can't see what you're doing and I still know!” Fumiko blushed and put her rings back on her fingers. Then the bell rang at the end of the break! Shortly before they went to class, Fumiko whispered something to her, "I'll just spend the night with you, maybe I'll experience the dream then and can help you!" Yoshiko just nodded slightly.
On the way back to class, the boys pushed past Yoshiko and pushed her from side to side. "Hey!Leave her alone! "Fumiko yelled at the boys." Oh no, our Miss Fumiko is protecting her poor, poor blind cow! "Said one contemptuously.
"What can she do for it?" Fumiko snapped back. She took her friend by the arm and led them on. Walking past him she growled to him "you are such an idiot !!"
“That was Kizuka again, wasn't it?” Yoshiko's voice trembled slightly. Fumiko tried to calm her down. “He definitely doesn't mean that!” Yoshiko dropped his head and didn't reply to it.

It was evening. It was raining outside. The fresh air of the damp earth penetrated the room in which Yoshiko and Fumiko were lying next to each other. The two lay hand in hand on the floor on their blankets. Yoshiko lay there with his eyes closed, while Fumiko stared at the ceiling. It was quiet. You could see that they were both afraid. Fumiko squeezed Yoshiko's hand a little tighter. She whispered "We can do it!" she tried a smile but failed.Yoshiko just nodded slightly. A strong gust of wind drove through the open window and blew out the candle, which served as the only source of light. The raindrops pelted the roof more and more slowly and finally they were gone completely. It was quiet, only from outside you could hear the crickets chirping as they slowly ventured out of their shelter. Yoshiko opened her eyes, she saw the moon shining through the window on a silver path. She shook Fumiko's hand. “Hey, hey!” Yoshiko caught his breath, Fumiko didn't move. Yoshiko leaned over Fumiko, grabbed her shoulder, and shook her. “Hey!” Yoshiko panicked, her eyes filled with tears and in a stuffy voice she said “I ... I can see, say something, hey!” She sobbed and touched Fumiko's face with her hand. She thought to herself: She traced the features of her friend's face, but her skin was cold. Freezing. Her lips formed the words but not a single sound came out of her mouth: "Fumiko, say something!" Sobbing, she threw herself at her friend, but a noise made her sit up and take notice. Someone pawed at the door. Yoshiko felt the icy cold penetrate the cracks in the door. She took Fumiko on her back as best she could and quietly opened the back door. She tried to be as quiet as possible and crept along the gravel path to the old shrine. She hoped to be safe there for the time being and carried Fumiko up to the attic. But she knew that they weren't safe here for long. Fumiko's body was on the floor and her head on Yoshiko's lap. Yoshiko stroked her hair and her tears wet Fumiko's face. She whispered “This is all my fault!” Suddenly Fumiko's arms and legs started to twitch. Yoshiko didn't notice, she had closed her eyes and kept her head down.Fumiko opened her eyes carefully. Yoshiko was startled when she felt something cold on her cheek. “Fumiko?” She opened her eyes hesitantly, afraid it would be a hallucination. "I was scared you were ..." Then the door was smashed downstairs and the icy cold that Yoshiko had felt in the dojo before reached into the attic within a very short time.
Startled, Yoshiko looked up "We have to flee, come!" She tried to get her friend up but she refused. Fumiko got up and went towards the door!
"What are you doing? You wanted to help me!" She pulled her friend back by the sleeve "Fumiko !!!!" She turned around and it seemed to Yoshiko as if an empty doll was standing in front of her. This time it wasn't hers but Fumiko's eyes looked into space!
Without a word, her best friend turned and walked down the path! Yoshiko tried again to warn her, but Fumiko seemed deaf!"Don't, Fumiko !!" Yoshiko remained completely perplexed and stared after Fumiko! Suddenly she heard a sharp scream downstairs and the cold shot up at her like an arrow.
She backed away and saw a creature emerge from the ground. She wore a long brown coat and the hood hung so far into the face that you could have mine. The face would only be a black hole. A belt with a scabbard attached to it hung around the waist. A young woman hovered next to her. She had long white hair and her eyes were flashing blue and radiating cold. The long fluttering robe played around the thin body and involuntarily a scream broke out from her that Yoshiko had to hold her ears because it hurt. Only when she looked closer did she recognize the features and her eyes widened in shock.
She slipped back until her back hit the wall!Sobbing quietly, she kept whispering the name of her friend, but she only had a malicious grin on her face! The creature next to her came closer and drew a sword from its scabbard.
Just before she stabbed to death, Yoshiko wanted to push her away with her hands. But small energy balls formed in her hands and the person was thrown against the wall with a pressure wave. Distraught and with watery eyes, Yoshiko looks at her hands. Suddenly there was another scream and Fumiko wanted to pounce on her former friend who could just turn to the side. Yoshiko slowly got up and took a few steps back.
Her feet stepped into space, she lost her balance and fell from the top floor of the shrine.
Thoughts flew around in her head. She didn't want to die, not like this, not here and not through her friend, she wanted to find out what had happened to her friend and where she was.She closed her eyes and the darkness spread in her head.
