Chapter: The world championships

11. The world championships

The world championships began. The teams fought fiercely. In the end, there were only two who made it to the finals: the Bladebreakers and the Demolition Boys.

Ian looked around. Now they have already reached the final. And no trace of Celîr.
He had noticed for himself that they had fought differently since she was gone.
Hateful and disappointed. Maybe they shouldn't have let her mean so much to them. Ian sighed. The first fight was decided.
Now it was Bryan's turn against this Ray ...

A young woman in a hooded cloak sat in the audience, a little blonde girl on her lap. Next to her, another hooded woman stretched out over her face.
She too had a little girl in her arms. "Now I'm curious," she said. "Not just you." Mumbled the other. The fight started.
The first woman stared in horror, the other began to cheer Ray on loudly.
"Damn it, you said they were harmless!" she hissed at the first one.But she was completely shocked. "II don't understand!" she breathed completely stunned.
Ray withstood the gruesome attacks ... and won!
The second woman sat elegantly again and looked worriedly at the first.
"I have to go." Whispered this one. The little girl on her lap held out her arms. She looked at her with a pained smile and took her hand.
“You're already too big for that,” she said with a slight rebuke. The girl nodded.
"I know. But it was worth a try." All four laughed.
Then the first went to the cubicles with the girl by the hand.

Without knocking, she joined the Demolition Boys. They looked up irritably from their blades. "What do you want here?" Ian demanded to know.
The woman was silent. "Get out of here!" demanded Spencer.
The little girl looked up at the woman. "They're not as nice as you said, big sister."She meant accusingly." I can tell, Elyon. "She said softly and now lifted her on her arm. Her hood fell down and her long black hair hugged her pale face." Celîr? "Asked Spencer, astonished.
"I told you I would be back." She smiled slightly at the Blader.
"However, I have only seen the last two fights."
A slight shadow seemed to flicker across her face.
"Not bad, is it?" Spencer said proudly. Bryan grimaced.
“You fight differently,” she stated. "But I'm not sure if it's better."
"Of course it is! Biovolt himself has drawn up our training plan."
The little girl made a scornful face. "That should be better? You only think about victory, not about the actual game! And you don't follow the rules either!" she hissed. "Of course we stick to the rules. Otherwise we would be disqualified long ago!" Ian replied, then looked accusingly at Celîr."What is she saying?
Who is she anyway? "Celîr was silent and looked at the faces of the Demolition Boys. Elyon ignored him and said seriously like an adult to her motionless sister:" What did you expect? You grew up like that. Did you really think you could change her? Who knows what else Biovolt did to you? "Now Spencer and Bryan got angry too." You are right! "Said Celîr sadly to her sister. Then she turned to the boys:" I made a mistake. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have expected so much. "She turned and left. It was a final gesture that made it clear that they would never see each other again.
