Part 2
- Nici & # 8211;
The next morning my beloved alarm clock rang at six o'clock. The only thing that crossed my mind at this deafening sound was one word. School!!! I struggled to get out of my still warm bed and shuffled into my bathroom, which was right in my room. I undressed, grabbed my vanilla soap and a peach shampoo, and went into the shower. After a nice hot shower and now much more awake than before, I went to the closet. Black flared pants, a blue tie-dye top and black underwear were pulled out of the large closet. After I got dressed, I disappeared into the bathroom for a few minutes and blow-dried my hair, which I tied back together. In my school bag I looked for the black kohl and framed my eyes, which was then finished off with a black mascara. I pulled a cloth jacket out of the closet and dug up the case, which I threw in a backpack.Somehow still tired I dragged the backpack and myself into the kitchen, where my father was already sitting at the table. He ate a bowl of corn flakes when he looked up briefly and told me & # 8222; Good morning & # 8220; wish. My answer was just a tired grumble, which he chopped off with a smile. He then pointed to the counter and said: & # 8222; I also put a bowl of cereal in front of you. & # 8220; & # 8222; Thank you, & # 8220; I said, consuming them at a fair pace. Since I only knew roughly where the school was located, I decided to leave at seven o'clock. Which was the case now. With a & # 8222; Bye & # 8220; I said goodbye to Dad and stepped out. In the letter that I had received from this school, it was stated that I should come to room 9 at half past seven. They would show me the rest there. I found the school very quickly and the school yard was already visible with a few students.I sat down on my stone bench and waited until the gong started.
That came after ten minutes. I looked for room 9 and entered it. Embarrassingly, I was the last, even the teacher was inside. But he just smiled and invited me in. & # 8222; Dear students, we have a new student here. Will you briefly introduce yourself? & # 8220; he said to me.
& # 8222; Hi, I'm Nici Paige and I'm from New York City. & # 8220; That's it, she wasn't interested any more, I thought to myself. & # 8222; Good, Nici, sit down next to Miranda there. & # 8220; He pointed to her with one hand and I quickly disappeared to the designated place. Miranda and I got along well from the start. The first lesson was easy for me. Miranda gave me all the school books and also showed me the school house. The second lesson was then a history lesson. I always found these lessons pretty boring. My attention was therefore directed to my little letter, which kept pushing over to my neighbor.But suddenly we were interrupted. A mop of lavender and black tousled hair fell through the door. & # 8222; Aha, Goths and Trunks. Again too late. Well, nothing new. Sit down and listen. & # 8220; said the teacher sternly. The two sat down next to us at a still vacant school desk and talked to each other. I completely forgot myself and stared at the purple boy the whole time. From their whispers I could filter out that his name was Trunks. When Miranda pulled me out of my freeze, I was already slapping myself inside. To stare so stupidly. Certainly it couldn't be more conspicuous.
The morning passed slowly, mostly because I kept catching myself looking at Trunks. Thank God he hadn't discovered me himself.
When the doorbell finally rang and the last hour of the morning was over, I breathed a sigh of relief. It was boring. My life was always boring anyway.Nothing was going on when I was in the game. At least that's what I thought. I had a dead boring family who didn't even know when I went to the bathroom. At least it wasn't that stupid at school.
Miranda obviously knew the two boys well, in any case the four of us made our way home. As I soon discovered, Trunks was the son of the owner of the Capsule Corporation and he therefore lived on the same street as me.
We talked about school or the latest flop that had just happened again. I listened more because I didn't know very much about that. So I looked Trunks up and down once. Pretty well trained, definitely not some idiot with inferior intelligence or something. What I also noticed was that he almost never talked about his home. Goten had probably already mentioned about five times what his mother was like. And she already knew a lot about Miranda about her family.For example, her mother, who was sick from baking, baked for everything and everyone, be it a cat, a cake or some kind of biscuit.
& # 8222; Hey guys, I should hurry up if I want to avoid my mom's rabies attack today. & # 8220; he said with a grin. & # 8222; Yes, I should come home slowly too. Take care you two. & # 8220; said Miranda and they were already out of reach. I thought it was great again. Miranda actually let me down with a guy like that. Not that he looked dangerous. But he looked just too good. In my opinion, he couldn't even smile, otherwise I would have to be frozen first until I could be carried home. We walked side by side in silence. Nobody said a single word.
- Trunks & # 8211;
It is not very talkative as it seems to me. & # 8222; When did you come here? & # 8220; I suddenly asked. & # 8222; Yesterday.& # 8220; she said curtly and seemed to devote herself to her duty of confidentiality again, which upset me a little. & # 8222; Do you like it here? & # 8220; I tried again. & # 8222; Yes, it's nice. Quiet and not so loud. & # 8220; she said. & # 8222; What do you mean by loud? & # 8220; I asked curiously. & # 8222; It's relatively noisy in New York City. We had a house too, but our neighbors were just bad. The kids had howling and we had a hell of a lot of dogs around. & # 8220; & # 8222; Oh, that's what you mean. It's really not very loud here, but there's always something going on. You might hear a bang from the Capsule Corporation every now and then. But rarely happens. & # 8220; I wondered why I even say such shit. Rarely, Mum would be really happy if Dad didn't blow the GR at least five times a week. & # 8222; What do you do in your free time?& # 8220; she asked me. I was surprised and was just wondering what I was actually doing. No idea at all what to answer, the most lied answer in all of South Carolina came out of my mouth: & # 8222; Homework ... & # 8220; I then just smiled at her crookedly and wondered what my father might have triggered in my training yesterday. First I'm late, because it has never happened to me, and then this one. & # 8222; Aha. Then you're sure to be pretty good at school. But uh ... you already have other things that you do or not? & # 8220; & # 8222; Sure, what's there & # 8217; & # 8220; I pondered again. Exercise no, I'd rather not say. Ah yes. & # 8222; Do something with friends. What are your hobbies? & # 8220; I asked her to avoid the topic. Because if I'm honest, I don't do a lot. My free time mostly goes to training, if father wants to train alone again then I do something with Goths.The evening is for homework or maybe for copying? I decided to leave that in the dark. It was actually both exhausting. With one you just use two things: your hand and your brain. With the other only hand.
& # 8222; Well, I sit a lot of computers and write stories or design websites. But write more stories. I also like to do something with friends from time to time, that's it all around the corner & # 8220; she said.
& # 8222; You know, you've chosen a good time to move. & # 8220; I said. & # 8222; Really? How so? & # 8220; she asked. & # 8222; There are only four weeks left until the summer vacation. Before that we do a class camp. Most of them are pretty good. It had already been good last year. And what's more, you've already missed most of the exams. Not bad, right? & # 8220; I said.
& # 8222; No, you are right. Perfect timing. & # 8220; she said with a grin.We walked the rest of the way without starting a conversation. It was enough for me too. She was normal like any other girl. Stop boring. She was nice, but what should I do with her if she's not so talkative. Well, let's see what will come.
& # 8222; See you tomorrow. & # 8220; I said and waved goodbye to her. & # 8222; See you tomorrow. & # 8220; she called to me and kept walking. I stepped into the house and, as always, only heard the hum of the GR & # 8217; s. My mother and Bra must have gone shopping again. Relieved that I wasn't there, I went to my room. Otherwise I could have played the packhorse again. Although these women have Hoi Poi capsules. Oh, understand the women, I thought to myself.
So, part 2 ends. Hit the keys and tell me how you found it: D
