Chapter: Embassy

Hello Hello!!! ^^

After a long time I tried to write an Ff again ... and look at what came out of it * sigh *. I must have been crazy when I wrote this.

A day like no other

Chapter 1: Message

Kaiba was typing peacefully on his laptop while the soft chirping of birds could be heard from behind the windows. His fingers darted nimbly across the keyboard, hitting exactly the letter he needed, as if he hadn't done anything else in his life.

The door slammed open. His fingers froze.

A black-clad armed man with a mask on his head took a step into the room and looked around cautiously. When he seemed certain that no one was there except Kaiba, he slammed the door and held the pistol out, as if he was expecting an attack any moment.

With slow steps, in which he turned menacingly in all directions, he stalked towards Kaiba."You, hey, exactly you!" He hissed at him as he aimed the gun at the door. "Answer me a question!"

Kaiba raised her eyebrows. His fingers were still in the position he'd left them in. What was this madman doing in the middle of his work in his inaccessible office?

"What are you doing here?" He asked calmly.

The man turned and held the pistol in front of his nose.

"Don't say anything until you are ASKED," he threatened, still looking around.

Kaiba narrowed her eyes indignantly.

"You just wanted to -" he complained.

"FLAP !!!!!"

The man ducked and crawled around Kaiba's desk, the pistol stretched out again. The company leader watched him with enormous contempt. He closed his laptop and turned the chair to face the man who was still crawling around the table.

"May I ask what you're doing here in my office?"he asked as politely as possible.

"Sssch ...", the man whispered and looked under the "dangerous-looking" pencil for a possibly even more dangerous weapon. "I was instructed to deliver a top-secret message to Seto Kaiba under top secret precautions. You didn'thappen tosee him here somewhere?"

Seto rubbed his face in exasperation. That couldn't be true ... That just couldn't be true ...

"Coincidentally, he's sitting in front of you," he pressed out.

"Yes, yes, and I'm Santa Claus," laughed the man and stood up abruptly. "Joking aside, it matters. Where is he?"

He hadn't even flicked an eyelash when Kaiba kicked him out of the office with what enthusiasm.

"Come back when you find him," he said sarcastically, slamming the door.Less than five minutes passed - he had just snuggled back into his armchair - the man was standing in front of him again, the ridiculous-looking pistol clutched tightly in both hands.

"It seems fair to assume that you are Mr. Seto Kaiba," he said in his James Bond accent. "So, as I said, it is my dignified duty to bring you a message. If I could ask for your ears' attention?"

"Sure," said Kaiba, bored.

The man rummaged in his jacket pocket ... and finally - Kaiba had already nodded off - he took out a note.

"Be home by 2 p.m.," he read.

Kaiba rubbed her eyes and yawned.

"Is that all?" He asked tiredly. His head cleared again, remembering every detail that had happened that morning. "Is that why you have a pistol with you?Couldn't I have been told that over the phone? Who is it from anyway? "

"From your little brother - the one with the long black hair, you know, that little boy who -"

He had not yet finished the sentence when he was thrown out of the room again with full force.

"I KNOW my brother!" Kaiba called after him.

For the second time in the last ten minutes, KaibaCorp shook. by slamming a door. Kaiba relaxed into the chair again and sighed and ran her hair through her hair. Was he just surrounded by idiots ...?
