I woke up drenched in sweat. I had dreamed something but couldn't remember what it was. "Apparently it wasn't a pretty dream," I muttered while getting dressed. I went down the stairs sullenly. I felt sleepy and something in the back of my mind made me very sad. I trotted sleepily into the kitchen. Only now did I notice that Aunt Kokoro wasn't there. It was dead quiet in the house. Where did she go? I thought and listlessly stirred my cornflakes. Finally, I decided to go into town and look for Kokoro. But first I went to take a shower.Just as I was getting out of the cabin, the doorbell rang. Annoyed, I pulled my T-shirt over my soaking wet skin, slipped into my jeans and rubbed my hair a little dry. Then I ran to the door and opened it. A boy about my age was standing in front of the door. He was holding a wallet and I realized it was Aunt Kokoros. The boy had jet black hair, two strands of which hung sweetly over his ears. At the back he was tied in a small ponytail with a headscarf that was wrapped around his head in a pirate look. He also wore an open blue shirt and jeans. I had to admit that he looked really good. Somewhere in the back of my mind the thought came up that I had seen him before, which of course I thought was nonsense. I didn't know this boy! This now held up the wallet. "I found this one on the street," he said. The sound of his voice gave me goose bumps and the thought that I had seen him before, that I knew him more than ever.A little confused, I took the purse and only now noticed that I had been staring straight into his beautiful, ice-cold, gray eyes the whole time. This boy attracted me like a charm, but I couldn't explain why. To my surprise, I heard myself say, “What's your- what's your name?” The boy seemed to be stunned too, but he replied, “My name is Kouji Minamoto.” Kouji Minamoto! These words triggered a storm of emotions in me. Again and again I heard his familiar voice in a huge vortex of images, sometimes loud and sometimes quiet. “What is love anyway?” “How are you? You don't look good?” Groaning, I held my head, I couldn't take it any longer. It was too much, too much ... "You were my wind ..." In one fell swoop, everything came back to me. With tears in my eyes, I looked at the boy I loved so much. "Kouji ..." I whispered softly. "Ruki?" he whispered back. I nodded. I couldn't do more than nod.The lump in my throat was too big. We just stood there for a while and stared at each other. Then everything broke out of me. I stormed off crying and hugged him. It was wonderful to feel his soft, warm skin, to smell his unique smell. It was especially nice when she noticed that it returned her hug. He too had started crying. But this time he wasn't crying out of sadness or anger. This time he wept for joy ...

You are gone;

At an other place;

Just like my luck;

You will never come back;

But even after this terrible time;

I see that hope remains;

The day will come when everything will go out;

Just not the light in me ...

So now it's over for good. I'll write more Digimon stories, but this one is over for good. I apologize for making it so short: Gomen. But in my defense I have to say: An epilogue shouldn't be drawn like chewing gum! I hope you enjoyed reading this FanFic here.I will also try to write a new one quickly.
