pain

When every thought is a pain of its own
every word
like a flaming sword
digs into my heart
every memory
only increases the loneliness
What is keeping me here then?

When every laugh from you
obscures reality for me
every look
a feeling of happiness for me
every feeling
can no longer be described
What is keeping me here then?

When every star
announces the end to me
Every full moon mocks my life
every twinkle in your eyes
Makes me search for the truth
What is keeping me here then?

When every source stops flowing
every moment seems endless
every sip of life tastes bitter to me
What is keeping me here then?

When i love you
without pride and without fulfillment
if i wanna be yoursrenouncing myself
when I inflict every torment on myself
much better than you
What is keeping me here then?

Where all sense is lost
any feeling out of context
extended every day
for hours of pain
every comet streak
darkened by pain
as a satellite of my own life
the sun only illuminates me so rarely

So I am the moon myself
