Prologue: Back to Hogwarts

"DRACO LUCIUS ANGELUS MALFOY !!! COME DOWN FINALLY!", Lucius stood angrily in the reception hall of his property and waited for his son, who was unworthy in Lucius' eyes. He came limping down the stairs a few minutes later. Behind him ran a house elf with his Hogwarts trunk and the cage with his polar falcon.
Draco stopped in front of his father and gave him a hateful look.
The Blonde Death Eater just smiled coldly at that. "Come on, I'll take you to your train. And please run right! Or do you want to bring more shame to the family?" The younger man clenched his fists inconspicuously. He immediately regretted this, however, as a stabbing pain through his hand went up his arm and his hand began to bleed again. He didn't remember how many times the wounds on that hand had reopened. He didn't really care, because he knew that his wounds could finally heal in peace at Hogwarts.
He no longer knew exactly what kind of injuries he had. Draco was certain that some of his ribs, left shin and right shoulder were broken. There were also a few flesh wounds, a few bruises and a concussion. The Malfoy heir did not want to know what damage his internal organs had taken.

Draco slowly lagged behind the older man. He tried to ignore the pain as best he could. Lucius stopped at the Malfoy Mansion. He could also have taken a carriage, but he still wanted to delight in his son's suffering. Draco knew that too.And it only increased the hatred of his father.
But he said nothing. Was silent for the reason not to have to suffer more pain. Even if that hadn't changed anything for the outside world. Nobody would notice any of his injuries. His father made sure of that by casting an illusionary charm about him. This ensured that his fellow men always saw a perfectly healthy boy. Only on his own relatives did the spell not work. The Death Eater had been doing this for years.
This time it was no different, as Draco found out. Because Lucius was pointing his wand at the Slytherin and mumbling a spell. Draco felt some kind of shell enveloping him.

"It's much better that way," still with that icy smile on his face, Lucius grabbed his son by the broken shoulder and squeezed, which elicited a cry of pain from Draco. Before Malfoy Senior Apparated, he made sure that Draco was touching all of his things.Shortly afterwards, the two Malfoys were already on platform 9 ¾. "Enjoy the short time without me!" With these words Lucius disappeared again. Draco raised an eyebrow in question. He did not understand the meaning of this sentence. But he decided not to think about it any further, since he wouldn't see his father again until the summer vacation.

So, with gritted teeth, Draco went to the train and got in. There he looked for a free compartment. It wasn't particularly difficult either, since the train was still almost empty. As a result, the blonde sat down in the best compartment. He actually wanted to put his luggage on the luggage rack, but the first attempt failed miserably. So he just left his things where they were.
Exhausted, Draco sat down by the window and leaned his forehead against the cool pane to at least get his headache away. He enjoyed the peace that was here in the compartment. So he could at least switch off. But that did not seem to be granted to him, because shortly after the train had left the door opened and a person entered the compartment.Only when something hit the floor did he remove his head from the pane.

On the floor next to his trunk was his cousin, Blaise Zabini. "Tell me Draco, you have to leave your stuff in the way!" Blaise glared at him until he noticed the injuries to the Malfoy heir. The dark-haired man noticed the slightly twisted leg immediately, and the Slytherins' seeker was breathing strangely, too: "How do you look! Was that uncle again?" Draco just nodded silently. "You must be in great pain. Wait a minute!"
Blaise immediately put his cousins' things on the luggage rack before opening his suitcase and looking for something in it. It wasn't long before the Slytherin held a vial in front of the blond's nose. "Here drink this! It will relieve your pain. You will sleep the whole train ride though." Draco nodded willingly, "I'm not missing anything here." The Malfoy heir lifted the vial to his lips and emptied it. Shortly afterwards he fell into a dreamless sleep.~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~

"Hey Draco, wake up!" Blaise gently shook his cousin's shoulder. Shortly afterwards the blonde woke up: “What is it?” “Well, we'll be Hogsmeade in 20 minutes. I've already laid out your things for you.” The blonde just nodded and began to change, which made him astonished went without pain.
"Blaise, this potion is awesome. You have to tell me which one it is." "Forget it, Draco. If I tell you that, you'll just brew it and that's not good for you because this potion will damage your wounds no longer heal. "Draco sighed and looked out the window:" Great, now it's raining too. "

Meanwhile, a man wrapped in a black cloak apparated in front of the gates of Hogwarts. His hood still covered most of his face as he could now be in danger of being spotted. Even if it was pretty unlikely with this rain. The person looked at the lock and flashed blood-red eyes: "Home sweet home!"
Grinning, he pulled the hood off his head and the face of a 16-year-old came out. Then he walked down the path to the castle.
