Girlfriends

When school was finally over, Amaya accompanied Kagome home as she lived only 3 blocks away. "Wouldn't you like to have lunch with us today? We could do our homework together after dinner," asked Kagome Amaya, who stared sadly at the floor. She looked up and replied, "Do you think your mother and grandfather don't mind if I have lunch with you?" "Why should they?" Came from Kagome. "If you think so, I'll be happy to come," Amaya answered her. Kagome cheered and jumped into the air. Amaya smiled slightly and together they made their way to Kagome's house. Just before that, Kagome took Amaya's hand and dragged her inside. "Mom, I'm at home! And I brought a friend!", Kagome said while she and Amaya took off their shoes. "Oh, a friend of yours is always welcome. But I have to set up a place quickly, "answered Kagome's mother with an inviting smile. Kagome dragged Amaya into the dining room, where her grandpa and little brother were already making themselves comfortable." Hello grandpa, hello Souta, "came from Kagome, without looking at them. "Um, good afternoon," Amaya stuttered. She was very nervous because she had never been to Kagome's and was seeing her family for the first time. "Hello," replied Souta and her grandfather Kagome's mother with a small bowl of rice and a plate of fish in her hand. She put it next to Kagome's food. Amaya and Kagome sat down, took the fish and rice and ate. When everyone was finished, Amaya and Kagome went to wash the dishes The mother turned the two girls away and whispered something in Kagome's ear. Kagome grabbed Amaya's arm again and dragged her down the stairs to her room. Upstairs they unpacked their school supplies and did their homework together . The tasks were not difficult to solve.Only with mathematics there were small problems, which she managed with difficulty. "Phew. Finally done, I thought we'd be sitting on the task tomorrow," sighed Amaya, who was stressed and packed her things into her school bag. "Tell me. You live alone with your older sister, right? What happened to your parents?", Kagome asked her. Amaya bowed her head. Kagome looked questioningly at Amaya. "Are you ... dead?" Amaya winced. The thought that her parents were dead terrified her. There was silence for a short time. "II don't know," replied Amaya. "I can't remember anything more than about half a year ago. My sister only moved in with me for a little more than a quarter of a year. I've only lived for half a year here. "He was silent again. Kagome didn't know what to say about it. She was shocked. "But what the heck?" Said Amaya and smiled. Even if she smiled, deep down she cried.Amaya stayed with Kagome late into the evening. But nothing good awaited her at home ...

Lost

"Hello Akemi! I'm back home!" Amaya yelled into her house. Silence. Nobody answered. Amaya wasn't used to that. Usually she got a nice and joyful greeting from her sister. "Akemi? Are you there?" Again nobody answered. "Come out Akemi! You know very well I don't like games like that!", Amaya said. But again she heard nothing. "Akemi come out !!! You scare me!" Amaya yelled. She panicked. ° What just happened? She won't be ...? ° Amaya went into the kitchen. If Akemi was with friends or something similar, she normally leaves a note. But it was rare for her to be with friends. In the kitchen, however, there was neither a note nor a letter. ° Where could she be? She will surely come soon. She was probably at one of those parties again, couldn't go home and spend the night there.Yes, she will be back tomorrow for sure. I hope. ° Amaya, however, had doubts and fear. She feared the worst. She didn't sleep at all that night, although she had hardly slept the previous night either. Too many thoughts plagued her. What happened if? , what if not? , What happened? what if she still hasn't shown up tomorrow? And more questions were buzzing around in her head.
The next morning school was announced again. But the first thing Amaya did was not to get dressed as usual, was not to put the school bag. The first thing she did was go to the kitchen to see if Akemi was sitting there. She always sat there when Amaya had to go to school. But she wasn't sitting there. So Amaya ran into her sister's bedroom. Amaya was never allowed into her room. Akemi forbade her. "This is MY private room and you have no business there!" She always said. But Amaya didn't care now. She tore the door open. It was cold in the room. And there was only an empty bed in front of her. No Akemi slept in it. In her desperation, Amaya even got the crazy idea to look in the closet. She turned the whole house upside down, but Akemi wasn't there. ° Has she forgotten me? Was I always such a burden to her that she just pulled away without saying anything? No, she would never do that. Or is it? No no no!! She would never do that! She will surely be home after I come home from school. And if not? What if she really doesn't come back? ° A tear ran down her cheek. She was sad and angry at the same time. Her last relative just disappeared like that. It was hopeless for them. What should she do now? She was alone. All alone. Without parents and without relatives. Another tear ran down her cheek. "No! I don't want to be alone again !! Never again!" She yelled to herself. DING DONG. The doorbell rang.(It's logical, but I just write it to be on the safe side) "Who could that be? Maybe Akemi?!?" Hope opened up to her. Amaya ran to the door. Just before opening the door, she wiped away her tears. But when she opened the door, it wasn't her sister standing in front of it. There was Kagome. "Hello Amaya. I thought we could go to school together today," said Kagome, who didn't know what had happened here, didn't know how sad Amaya was. "Oh, it's you Kagome. Yes, wait, I'll be right there. I still have to get dressed and put the school supplies away. I haven't had time for it. Come in in the meantime," Amaya replied. But she didn't sound very happy. How could she be happy when her last hope of seeing her sister disappeared? Amaya led Kagome into the living room. "Wait here. I'll be right there," ordered Amaya Kagome. After that, always to get ready for school. Kagome never escaped this sad look. She didn't like the sad face of her friend at all. ° Why is she looking so sad? Yesterday she was still so happy. Could it have something to do with the fact that I asked you about your parents yesterday? ° Kagome is worried about Amaya. "So, here I am again!" Said Amaya, who had just come out of her room. She had calmed down halfway and was happily complaining again. Amaya had put on her school uniform and had a fully loaded school bag on her back. Kagome liked that better. Kagome can't stand to see someone sad. "Well, then we can go," replied Kagome, who grabbed Amaya by the arm again and dragged her out. Amaya quickly locked the door and then they made their way to school together.
