Chapter: Tala versus Garland
Misfortunes never come singly. Luna has had this experience many times. Especially since she owned bombers. Her grandparents had decided to allow bombers here because they no longer had enough strength to deal with a stubborn goat like him. As soon as Luna tried to ride Bomber for the first time, he had inflicted serious injuries on her. It wasn't that he was mean, he was just being insidious and unpredictable. But it was precisely these characteristics that attracted Luna to the gelding.
At the moment she was riding with him through the park to think about something. It was a few days after the Worldchampion Ships and the first problem was not long in coming. The BBA has been sold to a new BeyBlade company called BEGA and to make matters worse, Boris is the boss.
Luna was so lost in thought that she didn't even notice that the bomber was trotting up. When she finally checked it and wanted to parry him back to the crotch, her brother was standing next to her out of the blue. She reined in the gelding and for once he stopped without doing any other antics beforehand.
"We're looking for Hiro, have you seen him?" Asked Max, half-heartedly stroking Bomber's forehead. which the gelding apparently didn't like, because he snapped at Max's hand and almost got it.
"No, I haven't.", Luna answered honestly and took Bomber's reins a little shorter.
In the next moment Kenny, Tyson, Daichi and Hilary came running up. They were also looking for Tyson's brother. Luna asked politely what they all wanted from Hiro.
"It's about Boris. We're not sure if we can trust him.", Tyson explained.
They stayed on the spot and discussed the BEGA topic. It didn't take long for Spencer, Bryan, and Tala to keep them company. The three Blitzkrieg Boys were on their way to the BEGA main building to have an intensive conversation with their old commander, Boris.Tyson actually wanted to accompany her but Tala refused. Luna also wanted to take the way back home that Tala wanted to take and so they could talk a little more.
"You, Tala.", She started carefully.
" What is? "
"Do you really think that boris has changed?"
"No, I don't. He's a bad person and that would never change."
Luna was silent and went back to her own thoughts. When they parted ways, Tala stayed with her for a moment.
"There's going to be a fight, isn't it?"
Tala shrugged. "It cannot be avoided."
"Then I'll bring bombers home quickly and then I will cheer you on.", She smiled.
"Better not do that, it could be dangerous. This guy can be trusted with anything.", Tala said to keep her from doing what she wanted.
"If I am to be honest, I have a bad feeling about letting you go there.", She confessed to him and had to look away so that he couldn“t see her blush."HEY TALA !!! NOW COMING AT LAST !!!", shouted his teammates from afar. Tala said goodbye with the words: "I have to go."
after the three of them were out of sight, bombers drove them to a short gallop. The gelding just flew over the ground and made some high-spirited buck jumps.
It didn't take long and they had already reached the outskirts where she lived. She dismounted in front of the yard gate and led bombers into the barn. There they were greeted by Milo, a small, cheeky rooster, and the cop of a huge, white goose. Bomber let out a resounding neigh and he got a short answer from his fellow-species, who were in the paddock. She quickly saddled and stripped Bomber, gave him another apple, and brought the gelding back to the pasture. Then she brought all of his saddles back to the garage and went inside.
Rio came up to her in the hallway and yawned extensively."You are such a sleepy dog.", Luna whistled and cuddled with him for a moment. After Rio had had enough, Luna went up the stairs, grabbed some fresh things from her closet and got into the shower. Her next path led her back down to the living room.
Judy was sitting on the couch, completely fixed on the screen of her laptop and fished with her right hand for a steaming coffee cup that was on the table. The television was dodging.
"Hi Mom.", Luna greeted her mother and sat down next to her on the couch.
"Hello little one. How about bombers?" Judy asked and looked up briefly from her work.
"It went very well.", Luna said and added in her mind: For once.
Judy was about to reply, but the actual television program was interrupted by an important message.
MingMing was prompt to see BEGA's mascot on the screen.
"Hello, dear BeyBlade fans! It is a pleasure for me to announce that a gigantic fight between two top bladers is currently taking place in the brand new BEGA Stadium. These are Garland and the unique Tala. ", the blue-haired girl announced proudly. A few pictures of the fight were faded in and Tala looked completely exhausted. Luna winced when she saw how things were going. He couldn't hold out much longer. She ran out of the living room , sat on her shoes and disappeared through the back door. If she walked across the huge paddock, she would save a lot of walking and could be to her destination faster. With one jump she jumped over the paddock fence. Fortunately, Diablo was equal up here. In short sentences she explained to the stallion what had happened. Somehow she felt better. The Anglo-Arab listened with pricked ears. Luna grabbed his mane and swung skillfully onto his back. Diablo trotted up and galloped then at a delicate pace across the paddock.
It was a few minutes before they got to the other end. When Diablo stopped, Luna slid off his back, gave him a kiss on the nostrils and ran straight on.As fast as her legs could carry her, she sprinted through town and almost got hit by a car several times. Completely exhausted, she finally reached the BEGA main building. Since she was just so well in time, she sprinted up the stairs, through the door and was actually stopped by two guards.
"Let go of me immediately! I have to go to Tala !!", she yelled at the two men and tried to free herself from their iron grips.
"I'm sorry, young lady. The fight has already started. All seats are taken.", One of the men tried to calm her down.
"I don't want to sit down either. I want to see Tala." Luna snapped.
"Come on, let's throw them out. I don't want to get in trouble from the boss.", The other man intervened.
"Now finally let me see Tala !!!", she shouted and unconsciously sent out two pressure waves that hurled the two men against the wall. She took this chance and ran on.When she got to the stadium, she was in one of the upper stands. Luna peered down at the bowl. Tala was still fighting this Garland and was at the end of his tether. Eventually Garland made his final attack and Tala was pulled back.
Luna shouted his name and some of the audience looked at her strangely, but she wasn't interested in that at the moment. She ran back, slid down the next banister, and then continued walking towards her friends.
Tyson held Tala in his arms. Luna went down on her knees and was close to tears.
"I'm sorry that I came so late.", She whispered and Tala opened his eyes, which was clearly straining him. With the last of his strength, he raised his hand and caressed Luna on the cheek. " Is okay. "
Then he completely passed out and his hand slumped back.
Luna got up and looked angrily at Garland. He had done this to Tala and wasn't going to get away with it that easily."What did you think?" She snapped at Garland. "You will be sorry for that."
"Ohhh, I'm scared now.", He sneered and looked at her disparagingly.
"You should, too." Luna hissed and took out her BeyBlade. " I challenge you. "
the person addressed did not react, but looked up at Boris, who was standing in his box and had observed the whole thing.
"I don't know if this is such a good idea, Luna," said the older man, worried. But he just wanted to make a good face to the bad game and just put on a lousy show.
"And whether that's a good idea."
"Luna!" Max and Tyson shouted in unison. "Better not do that."
She skilfully ignored her friends' attempts to hold up and then continued talking to Boris: "Tomorrow at the same time.", She demanded and then turned to Garland: "Be prepared for something."
Without looking at anyone again, she left again. Only briefly did she take another look at the upper stands. There stood Kai and Hiro, who looked at her in astonishment and Ray was there too, with someone she didn't know, but made a nice impression.
Outside she had to take a deep breath first. Only now did she buckle what she had said in there and regretted everything. But there was nothing she could do about it any more.
An ambulance drove up and the emergency doctors brought tala out of the arena on a stretcher. She stood there motionless and couldn't take her eyes off him.
That night she snuck out of the house again. It was a full moon and its light made everything look enchanted. Luna took out her BeyBlade and held Deadem in the moonlight. The BitChip lit up and her body was also surrounded by a shallow glow. Then she hugged Deadem tightly to her heart. The glow disappeared again. But now she was ready to fight Garland and there was no way she was going to lose.
