"Kagome, what is it?" He said and looked at the pile of misery that was lying on the floor and tried to get up again. "Stop! You idiot, why didn't you say you needed help.", He said and looked at the clothes that Kagome had forgotten to put back into place. "I'm sorry .. I .." "You have said enough times today that you are sorry. I am the one who would have to say that I am sorry. I could have noticed that you were lying to me." interrupted Inuyasha Kagome. "Eh?" Kagome said, staring at Inuyasha. Sota appeared in the door, who had run after him as fast as he could and was now completely out of breath. "What ... happened ... because ...?", Sota asked and paused after each word. "I just fell, nothing else Sota. You can walk again.", Kagome replied and tried to smile even though her leg hurt even more now. "Then .. it's .. good!", Sota said and turned around. Kagome and Inuyasha heard him mumbling down the stairs.They heard a door close and jerked their heads towards each other. Kagome blushed and turned her head to one side. She couldn't look into his eyes, every time she did that she threatened to sink into them. "Can you help me up?" Asked Kagome, still looking to the side. "Of course.", Inuyasha answered and grabbed Kagome by the armpits. Kagome's eyes widened and she got an uncomfortable tingling sensation in her stomach as Inuyasha sat her back on the bed. Inuyasha took a seat next to her and was about to say something when a voice from below interrupted him. It was Kagome's mother who had come back from shopping and announced the imminent dinner. "Yes, mom. Thank you!" Kagome called. "We'd better go downstairs then, right?", Kagome said, but she knew Inuyasha had tried to tell her something. "Yes, yes .. let's go.", Inuyasha answered and got up. The sadness was clearly written on his face. Again he picked up Kagome.But this time Kagome didn't blush. She hadn't let him finish. Now that he finally wanted to talk. She was so sorry for that and had to bite her lip to suppress her feelings. She knew that he wouldn't say anything in company with the others and tried to finish the meal as soon as possible. Although her ode tasted very good, she wanted to leave the dinner table and therefore didn’t open much. Inuyasha didn't eat much either. You could see how he struggled with himself. He wanted to say something. Kagome knew that and so after Inuyasha had finished his plate, she simply finished eating by saying that she wanted to lie down. With that, of course, she also tied Inuyasha, who had to carry her upstairs. The day slowly came to an end and the sun turned red. Arrived at the top, Inuyasha said he had to get some fresh air and left the room. He took the direction of the stairs, but paused briefly and opened a door.The door to the bathroom. There he stood in front of the mirror and looked into his now white face. How should he say it? He looked out. It was completely dark and the birds chirped one last song. Inuyasha looked back in the mirror and was startled. His hair was colored and his eyes turned brown. Little did he know that today was the first day of the new moon, every time he turned into a human. That wasn't a problem, his mind stayed the same and so he decided to wait until he was completely transformed. He opened the door and peered out. Nobody seemed to be in the hallway. A voice rang out. "Kagome? We're going to the school party now. You can't come with us." It was Kagome's mother who stood in Kagome's door "We just wanted to see the play and the exhibition. We can excuse you right away," she concluded the door and headed for the bathroom door that was on the way to the stairs. Kagome's mother knew that Inuyasha transformed once per moon and was not surprised when she saw a human Inuyasha standing in front of her. "Hm..!", she made and Inuyasha could have sworn she would have winked at him. There he stood and couldn't move. He only heard how he was protested downstairs.
"Why is that, mom? It'll be boring," Sota grumbled. “I don't think so,” she said and seemed to cover someone's mouth, because all you could hear was a soft “Hmpf ..!” The door closed with a loud bang. Inuyasha still couldn't move. What was that? Why had she winked at him? What did she think? Should he go to Kagome? Gathering all his courage, he entered Kagome's room. There she was, on her bed. Had he stood so long that she fell asleep? He sat down on the chair on which there was a pink pillow and looked at Kagome as she lay there. He had wanted to tell her something and now she was sleeping. "It's better that way." Inuyasha said to himself. "What is Inuyasha?", Asked Kagome and straightened up slightly. "Why are you looking at me like that?".
