CAULIFLOWER
Chapter 1
The dress was pink.
The fabric glittered lightly and golden on the seams and folds. At the bottom, an ornament of fake diamonds shone like a rainbow. The dress hung on a pale stand in a window of a large department store in Nerima.
Such creations do not really please stylish elegant lovers, but Nanako Nagashi was not one of them. She was fourteen years old, quite thin, had dull black hair and was wearing an oversized coat that her older sister Megumi had given her.
“Preferably,” said Nanako Nagashi eagerly, “I would love to have light brown hair.” She pressed her nose against the shop window and looked at the pink wonder of clothing covetously. "If I had light brown hair," she added, "I could use a cherry red lipstick."
"Unfortunately, that's pretty unusual for us Japanese," Megumi replied matter-of-factly. Megumi was a tall, seventeen-year-old athlete with incredibly long legs."Nanako, child, we're going. I'm dying of hunger."
"Megumi, just look ..."
Megumi looked and frowned contemptuously. They were broad and determined eyebrows that looked like they had been made to frown contemptuously. Beneath those eyebrows were intelligent, auburn eyes that had a determined expression, and all of that was contained in a clever, flushed face. Magumi was wearing old, worn jeans, a baggy, brown-gray jacket and a cap of an unidentified color that was pressed onto her crooked, short, brown-black hair. She looked like a tall, unkempt boy. She was not a fanatic of elegance, you could see that at first glance.
"Come on!" she said in a strong and despotic voice, and yanked at the handle of the shopping bag. The other handle was in the dreamy Nanako's hand, so it was an unpleasant surprise for her.She lost her balance for a moment and immediately ran after her older sister, forced to paddle.
"What ?! What ?!" shouted Nanako with screeching irritation. "What are you running like, huh?"
"I told you I was hungry. Damn hungry."
“I wouldn't eat that much if I were you,” said the offended Nanako to her brutal sister. "If I were you, I wouldn't want to grow anymore."
"How come?" Megumi didn't slow the pace in the least. "If I were younger, I couldn't play basketball on the school team."
"Did we buy eggs?" it came to Nanako's mind.
"Yes. Don't tell me about food or I'll faint. Come on, faster!" Megumi walked even faster and pulled her sister to the next zebra crossing.
At the same moment from across the street came a very tall, well-built boy with coal-black eyes and a dangerous smile from a notorious riot.He was a handsome and self-confident young man, so his behavior was more than strange when he - driven by the other people - suddenly came across Megumi.
"Yh!" he let out a shock and turned pale.
The surprised Magumi stood motionless for a while with a younger sister hanging from the shopping bag, whose eyes suddenly radiated that curiosity characteristic of younger sisters.
"Is that you, Me ... Megumi?" the black-haired man asked stupidly.
Megumi was as far from romantic insecurity as Siberia was from the Riviera. "What are you blind?" she asked matter-of-factly.
"Now listen..."
“Out of the question.” Megumi said firmly. "Oh no. One more thing and this time I'll shy away from you, you have my word."
"Megumi" the black-haired man became more confident. "Let me explain ..."
"Dude," she said in a razor-sharp voice. "You don't have to explain anything to me, I am intelligent and immediately understand myself. Forgive me and goodbye. The blue light is already blinking. "
"Megumi!"
"Goodbye, dude. See you next time on a training session. And finally leave me alone, once and for all!" Megumi said mercilessly and tore one of her shopping bags as if on the reins and pulled Nanako with her.
They came to the other side of the street and continued walking towards Furinkan High.
"Megumi, who was that? Tell me who?" Nanako pleaded and when she received no answer from the icy silent sister she asked further.
"An acquaintance? From the school team? Have you had an argument? Tell me!"
"A friend." Megumi grumbled. She was annoyed. "One of those. His name is Motosuwa."
#Ueda Motosuwa. # she thought and felt the old anger rise inside her.
Motosuwa (eighteen years old, five feet eight) was the star of the school team. He was famous for his accurate throws. A basketball match without him almost always ended in a huge defeat. And this basketball star turned his gaze to Megumi one September evening. The evening was beautiful and Motosuwa brought Megumi home, taking a detour. Despite the twilight, he kept looking her in the eye and said that she reminded him of a cherry blossom blown by the spring wind. This metaphor made an extremely strong impression on Megumi - for the next training session. When she confided in a teammate, she heard from her that Motosuwa compared her, too, about four months earlier, to a cherry blossom. Compared to the rest of the team, Motosuwa's metaphor turned out to be quite used. Four girls were cherry blossoms for the great basketball player, two were compared to violin music. The women's locker room was shaken again and again that evening with salmon volleys and when the unsuspecting Motosuwa suggested a walk in the park to Megumi, he was beaten down by her, laughed at, abused like a toddler and categorically rejected forever. When he was still being mocked by the entire female basketball team, he did not come to training three times a week on these days when the male team trained with the female team. After three weeks he reappeared at training but still avoided Megumi.
And today he had to bump into her on the zebra crossing.
The poor...
Megumi smiled smugly as she remembered the confusion of this lying rogue and slowly came to the conclusion that she had no reason to be angry. Today's meeting was actually quite funny.
So. I'll break off the last FF. Nothing good will come of it anyway ... Sorry. * sigh * But I can't do it.
But here comes the story of Megumi and Ueda. ^^
I hope you like them and give me clerks.
I want at least a couple of clerks ... please ...
