Chapter 6:

I felt myself falling slowly. My hair was blowing in the wind. Suddenly I felt a pain in my hand. I didn't dare to open my eyes. Have i fallen yet? No this can not be. I noticed that I was no longer falling. Is my arm caught somewhere? No! Somebody held me! But who? I didn't dare look up and closed my eyes. I let myself down. "MARON !!! Damn it, open your eyes! Come on!". I was frightened. It was Chiaki. How did he find me I didn't want to see him and now he's even saving me! He pulled me up. At the top I slowly opened my eyes and saw his face, which looked at me worried. I looked away. "Hey, Marron. Are you okay?" I did not answer. "Hey, I'm talking to you! Please answer!". I looked at the soaking wet, gray floor on which we were sitting. Nobody said anything. I only heard the rain, wind, and excited breathing from Chiaki. He stared at me for a while and waited for an answer.But I didn't dare to talk to him. We sat on the floor for about 5 minutes and did not speak to each other. Then he got up. "Come on, let's go home. Maybe Miyako will find out more." He leaned down and picked me up. He took my hand and pulled me with him. "Stop! Let go of me!" I yelled, tearing myself free. He stared at me in amazement and said nothing.
I turned around and was about to run away again, but this time I didn't have the strength to run. So I just walked away without turning around or saying goodbye.
"You want to run away again? Or do you want to start a second suicide attempt? At least explain to me what happened. Maybe I can help you ?! Running away makes no sense! You have to face your fears and problems!" I stopped. After saying these words, I couldn't hold back my tears anymore. "I should face my problems?" I said in a trembling voice."Yes exactly!" Replied Chiaki. "Do you want to know what my problem is?" I said coldly, turned around and looked Chiaki straight in the eyes. "Yes I would like to.".

"My problem ... my problem ... are YOU !!!!", I said angry and sad at the same time. Chiaki was horrified. "W-w-how please? What did I do to you?"
"You lied to me. Just like then."
"Oh, what did I keep from you this time? Have you found any secret identity of mine again? I didn't even know that I had one !!" he yelled at me in horror.
"NO! That's not what I mean!" I yelled back, startled.
"What did I keep from you then?" He roared angrily.
"Miyako and I saw you," I said in a normal voice.
"What did I do ?!" he said aloud.
"You went to the cinema closely with Yuki and didn't even ask where Miyako and I are. You were probably totally happy that you could go to the cinema alone with Yuki.And you always said you love me! "I said, howling.
"I love you too!"
"Oh yes? You saw it!".
"Yuki clung to me. I told her that we should look for you both first, but she said that she saw you both go into the cinema where she dragged me in. And besides, I left the cinema earlier because I couldn't find you guys and the movie was to sleep in, just you weren't anywhere. So I went home and Yuki slipped after me and at some point sat down in an ice cream parlor and ordered two sundaes. Do you really think I'd do something start with a thirteen-year-old? You don't have them all anymore! "
"So you have nothing with her?" I said with a stutter.
"Damn it, NO! I love you!"
I knelt on the floor and started crying even harder.
"I'm sorry ... I'm sorry ...", I could hardly say a word. I was so ashamed. He hadn't betrayed me after all.He leaned down and tried to look into my eyes, but I had my face hidden behind my hair. I was just too embarrassed. He always trusted me and stood by me, and I? At the next best opportunity I will immediately call him a liar, a fraud and a child. What kind of friend I was. He deserved better. For a while all you could hear was the rain and my crying. He hadn't said anything.

The wind started to blow more and more violently. It got colder and colder. I shiver. Chiaki took off his raincoat and put it around me.
"Shall we go home? Fin, Acces and Miyako are waiting for sure. Although, Miyako could still be wandering around here looking for you.", He said and giggled. I also started giggling softly and nodded. He helped me up and looked me in the eye. This time I didn't hide my face because I wanted to see his face. He smiled.
"Don't ever do that kind of stupid thing again, okay?if you have problems you have to talk to us after all we are your friends. I…. we were really worried about you. ", he said and smiled at me friendly. I smiled back. I love it when he smiles at me like that. Then I forget all my worries for a moment. Chiaki put his hands on my shoulder and came closer and closer to me. I wiped quickly my tears away and closed my eyes. Then we kissed. I don't know how long the kiss lasted but it was beautiful. It felt like time stood still because I didn't hear anything but Chiaki´ s palpitations.
I finally realized that I could totally trust Chiaki. He loves me and I love him. And nothing will change about that. Whether Yuki wants it or not.
Chiaki opened the front door of my apartment. When Yuki noticed this she ran up to Chiaki and fell around his neck.
"There you are finally !! I've already missed you! Where have you been?", she said as if all the luck in the world had just come to her. Chiaki took her arms from his back and said nothing. He went into my apartment.
"Did you find Marron? Is she okay?" Asked Miyako, who had been waiting in the apartment the whole time. And then I walked into my apartment without saying a word or looking at anyone at all. In my eyes you could see the emptiness that I felt when I saw Yuki.
"Where have you been? I was worried because you have to take care of me! You can't leave me alone !!!", Yuki said as if she were a little spoiled princess whose butler had come too late. I didn't say anything. I didn't even look at her. I just walked past her, nodded to Miyako, went to my room, and lay down on my bed. > What should I do? I can hardly send Yuki home! But somehow I have to get rid of them! But how? If she continues like this I'll have a heart attack at some point!But what should I do? <
Suddenly there was a knock on the door.
"Marron? Can I come in?" Asked Miyako and slowly opened the door.
"Sure, come in!" I replied and sat up.
"Well, Chiaki said he found you in a pretty bad state, but he didn't say anything else either. What happened?".
"Oh, actually nothing. He cheered me up and explained everything. You know, I was pretty depressed." I lied to her and tried doubtfully to make my smile look real. I couldn't tell her I was on the verge of dying. What would she think? That I belong in the slap No, it didn't have to be.
"Oh, I thought something bad had happened! I'm relieved! I'd rather go back before Yuki tackles Chiaki again!", She said and grinned. I was relieved that all of my friends stood by me except for Yuki, who had somehow turned against me.Does she really want to relax my love for me? Or does she just want to annoy me? I just don't know what to do next. I changed my clothes. At least I couldn't walk around in my soaking wet clothes all the time, otherwise I'll catch a cold (sorry sounds a bit too exaggerated ^^)! When I moved, I was still doing my hair. I made myself two braids. When I was done I took another deep breath and slowly opened my door. Then I went with quiet, slow steps into the living room, where Miyako, Chiaki and unfortunately also Yuki were waiting for me.

I was happy to have such a good friend as Miyako is. She sat down especially between Yuki and Chiaki. Yuki bent over and over to Chiaki and thus restricted Miyako quite a bit, but Miyako did not move from the spot. And exactly when I got inside, Yuki disappeared right back into her corner.
"Well, there you are at last!", Chiaki said happily and winked at me.
"Yes!" I replied with a friendly smile.Just when I sat down next to Chiaki I was assigned another task.
"Marron! I'm hungry. Make me and my guests something to eat! Or do you want us to starve?", Said small commander in chief. I only had two questions:
1. Your guests ??
2. Who does she think she is? After all, this is my apartment and I welcomed it kindly.
Really. She has no respect for older people!
"It's okay, I'll do something! But you could have asked more friendly questions!" I said to her with a fake smile.
"If you think so," was the only thing she said. Her parents were probably happy to get rid of her.
"I would be careful. If Marron is angry, your food can be very unsavory!".
Everyone started laughing. Chiaki and his typical jokes. Where is the loving, unreasonable Chiaki from before? Since I don't like his jokes, I react as usual:
"CHIAKIIIII !!!!!" I shouted at him, took a pillow and finished him off with it.Then everything was quiet. I went into the kitchen in a huff to cook something. Maybe something poisoned ...

Everyone was full and satisfied. So I didn't cook anything obnoxious.
"Doesn't taste that bad this time. You tried hard after my comment, didn't you?", Chiaki said after the meal with a grin on her face.
I gave him a snappy look, then looked away again and said nothing.
"Well! Thanks for the food. I have to go home slowly (over there). Come on Chiaki.", Miyako said and dragged Chiaki to the front door.
"Bye bye!", Yuki and I shouted. Before the door closed you saw Chiaki waving goodbye.
"Well, I'm going to take a bath. You can already do the dishes.", Yuki said and went into the bathroom. I cleared the dishes. Where was Fin all this time? While I was thinking about Fin, I went to the balcony and looked at the stars.
"What is the little monster doing?" I heard Chiaki's warm voice from next door."The monster is bathing, that means silence for a while." I sighed. What a chaotic day it was today. First cinema where I lost my boyfriend and my little cousin. Then I make false accusations, then I'm about to die and experience one of
