Chapter I: How it all began ... I.

A week ago:
At that moment Dumbledore got up and the hall instantly went as quiet as a mouse. Like every year, his speech began, which was supposed to remind everyone what is forbidden and what is not. Harry looked up at him intently, wondering who would be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Strangely, there weren't even any rumors about the new teacher this year. "... and now I would like to introduce you to your new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Prof. Sirius Black."
At exactly this moment a person stepped out of the shadows and a murmur went through the students present. Harry apparently dropped his jaw so low that Hermione nudged him roughly. "Or do you want to look for her in the dungeon right away?" But she too had to smile at Sirius' new job. “It should be interesting.” Ron had previously tried to turn away from Luna, his eternal admirer, inconspicuously and was completely thrown off the mark by the new announcement.Great, now he still had her by his cheek!
Dumbledore gave the students enough time to digest this message and then publish another, shocking one. “For the entire seventh grade, the first half of the year will NOT take place at Hogwarts.” He smiled and looked at the shocked and sometimes confused faces. "You will go to Egypt, or rather to Cairo. You will live there for six months and ALSO receive lessons." A general groaning and sighing could not be ignored. His smile widened and his eyes flashed in amusement. "I will now, where you have hopefully gradually recovered, publish the names of the accompanying teachers: Prof. Snape will accompany you-" Dumbledore turned to him briefly and caught a glimpse of the derailed facial features of his loyal employee. This was completely irrelevant. Undeterred, the headmaster continued: "Prof.Binns, Madam Hooch, Prof. Raue-Pritsche and finally Prof. Black. Of course, the teachers for the missing professors, such as Metamorphosis, will also teach in Egypt. "
Harry, Ron and Hermione looked half fascinated, half shocked. Harry was the first to break out of his stupor: “That doesn't sound bad at all - well, except for Snape.” More hours with the guy (inward, grave-deep sigh), but those would be the adventures they were experience in Egypt would certainly make up for it. Besides, Harry's godfather went with you, so Snape is unlikely to be that bad!
