Chapter: 7. Tumbling deep
Hello guys ^^
And there I am again with a new chapter. Not very long and hardly anything of much interest in it, but maybe one or the other will still read it. In any case, that would make me pretty happy.
It is dedicated to my Schncki and Schnuffles. Hope you guys keep reading the story.
Your Moki
Tumbling deep
The young recruit had already known that the man who stood next to the high officer was responsible for the selection of the recruits, but that he now fully took care of the training was a little too much for her. He was already going against the frequency, how could that go on?
Torn from her dreams once again, she was shown her place. The class was now divided into three parts. One part now belonged to the army, the other, like her, would only complete basic training here and then go to the Navy. Your block, a really small one, would later go to the Air Force. And be shared again there. Moki had found out about this before. She also knew roughly what she actually wanted. Get out of this country. And as fast as possible. She was like a rabbit. A flight animal, could hardly stay in one place for a long time.
She had just sat down in her seat, the prospective pilots were instructed to get up again. They would get their first briefing elsewhere. The building was big enough with classrooms in abundance. And so it was always much easier for all trainers to talk to the students. There was no need to shout through a crowd where there were only a handful of people interested in it.
When they arrived in the new room, which had far fewer seats, all the recruits looked for a place, as far back as possible. But the young officer was far from like the others. He just broke the rules that were taught in school again. He sat down on one of the tables, put all the papers aside and looked around.
They are all still young ... maybe way too young. All still green behind the ears. And then my first own class. Let's hope that they don't expect too much from me ...went through the young officer's head. He'd been in the business for a few years, but as long as he was responsible for training, he'd never had a class just for himself. His former buddy in this direction had now finally left him, he was waiting at the pilot school. Hopefully he would be able to hold out until then.
"Well," the young man tried to attract the students' interest. It also went quite well, because he sometimes had a tone on his body that you knew very well that you had to function first. It didn't matter what came next. "I would now like to welcome you here for training. I am your first point of contact in this unit. And if I am not available, please consult my colleague from earlier. But now to me first. I am a marshal, as you can easily see "That was only what he meant. How should you recognize that? And if you had read the little nameplate, it said nothing on the rank. So the officer already started from a high level of prior knowledge And most of the young people haven't had this yet.
And since the ignorance of the students could not really be overlooked, the man decided to give an introduction to the hierarchy. Everything just didn’t stop there. Even if it will all be very, very dry. He himself wasn't particularly into that school stuff, but like everyone else, he had to torment himself again through it. He wasn't really born to be an instructor.
"Very well. I have five stars, so I'm a marshal. So far clear? Then that's fine. But let's continue with the text.My sign here says M. Burns, which means that your first name is, strangely enough, marshal. I didn't turn it around, just worked my way up. And if you make an effort, anything is possible. Once, like all of you, I sat here on these chairs and buffeted. This is no longer a walk in the park and in just a few weeks the wheat will be separated from the chaff in this very room. "
With these words, he jumped up from his seat and grabbed the notes on the side. He stood with his back to the recruits and listened a little. There was a lot of whispering to be heard. Marshal had not expected anything else. They were just too big children to think of themselves as adults. A small smile crossed his lips. He really wasn't that different then from everyone else. He had collected so many admonitions that he still topped the list of the best. And yet he had to make sure that his recruits would become a role model. After all, he had to prove himself with this task in front of all colleagues. And he wanted to be able to master it all by himself. They would be good pilots no matter how long it took. And that's why he put an end to it all. He took a deep breath before turning around and looking through the rows. They were all calm again. And now he started going through the list. This time he called everyone by their full name and looked at the young people one after the other. He had three women in his troop, the rest of which were made up by the men. Still, his group appeared to be completely mixed. He was already a little nervous about this big task, but he couldn't withdraw anymore.
Moki didn't think so much about this man. He thought they were all too young, but he didn't look that much older either.Or he was just an alcoholic, because alcohol is a preservative. Then you didn't get older that quickly. The young woman had seen enough examples for this statement in her life. And these examples were always not beautiful. It was an indictment of poverty, but what do you expect from a world in which rich is moving further and further away from poor. She just sighed inwardly. She had to keep following her thoughts. It's pretty stupid to get further and further away from class. Of course, it hadn't really started yet, but it wouldn't be possible to turn this feature off in the next few days. It really made her cry at times. But somebody would surely be able to drive that out of her soon. At the latest when it would be on the way to the pilot afterwards. Moki was sure she could concentrate well.
And so lost in her thoughts, Moki didn't notice the house rules. But that was certainly not a broken neck, she would ask what Raven had done wrong so far, then she would already know how to behave. To be the exact opposite of him. Maybe not fair to him, but that was apparently the way life was. He wasn't as nice to her as he was yesterday. Was it all over before it even started? She didn't know, and yet the thought alone hurt too much. It felt like a knife digging deep into her chest and twisting. She wanted to scream, but her voice was silent. Until you hit it with your elbow again. Perhaps happy about this thing, she was now looking ahead. A brown uniform was not far from her eyes, then slowly looked up at that one. The marshal was standing directly in front of her.
"Like I said ... you will have a hard time, girl," he gave her to understand again and asked for a signature on the instruction sheet. How long had she been dreaming again? The sheet was really written in the smallest of fonts and then also full. She should really learn to behave. And that started with the signature. First she wanted to write her real name under it again. The first initial would have been the same, but the surname looked completely different. What you had to get used to ...
