Inuyasha and the others were on their way again to find more fragments of the jewel of the four souls. It was late afternoon and they were about to set up camp when Inuyasha suddenly froze. They had been discussing which direction they wanted to go. Inuyasha sniffed. "Hm? What's going on Inuyasha? What do you smell?", Kagome asked and looked at him worried. But instead of this one answering her, he got up and only mumbled, "I have to do something for a moment" before disappearing between the trees.
He hadn't said where to go or, better yet, to whom he was going, but Kagome knew this for sure. * sigh * ° Kikyo ... She's probably around. What am I doing now ?! ° Kikyo kept walking towards him, but Inuyasha backed away. "What's going on Inuyasha? If I didn't know better I would say you're scared of me." "Me and scared ?! Keh! That I don't laugh!What are you actually imagining ?! "Kikyo just glared at him and then aimed her arrow at him." Actually, I was planning to let you live a little longer. He grabbed her shoulders and shook her lightly. “Hey Kagome!” “What ?!” She looked at him confused. “Are you all right?” He let go of her and looked at her in awe. But she turned away from him, got up and lay down in her sleeping bag. Inuyasha was still crouched helplessly in front of the fire. But what bothered him wasn't the fact that she had just walked away from him. No. It was the look on her face as she walked away. Her face had reflected so many emotions. But he had seen one thing he didn't understand. It was only a trace, but he recognized it. Anxiety. ° Why?Is she afraid of me? But ... why only? ° He decided to ask her the next day and jumped up a nearby tree from which he could watch Kagome. He looked at her for a while before falling asleep.
"Inuyasha get up !!!", shouted a familiar voice. Inuyasha reluctantly opened his eyes and looked at the young man who had woken him so roughly from his sleep. "Come on, you sleepy cap!", He called. “It's okay, you don't have to yell around Miroku!” He jumped from the tree and first gave Miroku a head-butt. "Ouch! What was that supposed to mean ?!" "Keh! Don't ask so stupidly." He turned away and wanted to go to the others. “Osuwari!” And Inuyasha smooched the floor. "Hey! What was that supposed to mean now?", Asked the disturbed and at the same time angry Hanyou. But the addressed simply ignored him. “Hey Kagome, I'm talking to you!” But she just didn't react and just looked sadly at the ground. But then she began to speak softly."You are an idiot Inuyasha. Why do you think you are often treated badly? You are to blame for it. If you weren't acting like a complete idiot sometimes, you could be nicer. But that's the way you are Deserved. So please don't complain. And if you don't like it here you can go to your Kikyo. She would definitely be happy. "When she had said this, they all just looked at in surprise. I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm sorry. Goodbye." With that he left.Kagome stared at the floor in front of him. It took her a moment to understand what he had just said. Then she jerked her head up and looked in the direction the Hanyou had gone. "Go after him. Come on." She was startled. She hadn't noticed that Shippo had been standing next to her the whole time and watching her. She nodded and started walking. "Did you understand what he said to her, Miroku?" "No Sango. Unfortunately not * sigh *" They shook their heads and packed up the rest of the things. By the time they were back they wanted to be ready to go.
