Chapter: New festival, new luck
Since there was now a picking office, I decided to continue writing the story. Of course, that can take a while, because I still have to concentrate on school. I will try to update the story every week. Have a look after me if I don't have the time;).
I am open to suggestions and tips :).
I'll give the fanfic a name and add the story in the same chapter so don't look for new chapters. The story continues in the next chapter. Your Karoline wishes you a lot of fun reading;)
Sorry for writing further later. Very busy. Try to be more punctual in the future or just stop writing when I continue to write:
"Please don't do that," said a historical girl's voice and startled Seto out of his sleep. He got up, yanked the door to his room open and saw Mana trying to get her wand back from a little boy Seto didn't know.“What is that about Osiris? "Complained Seto." Do you realize that you are lucky that I am telling you this. If Master Akunadin catches you, then there will be real trouble. Go to bed. It's the middle of the night and doesn't wake up the others. "" He started, "came the answer from both involved, as if on command. Seto rolled his eyes in annoyance, turned and disappeared back into bed, hoping he would dream again about the girl with the blue eyes he had met in his childhood. What was her name? Oh yes ... Kisara. And then Seto fell asleep again.
In the hallway, Mana had got her wand back in the meantime. Angry, she turned and left. On the way to her room she passed a large hallway and heard voices. She crept cautiously towards the noise. It was almost pitch dark and Mana hoped that no one would come with her because she was there. And she was lucky. She came to a balcony where Mahado and Isis were standing. She quickly scurried behind a pillar. Quietly she listened to her master: “I think we should keep our relationship a secret. "Isis nodded" Yes, it would not be good if, for example, Akunadin found out that we are so happy. “Oh yes,” said Mahado and looked at his girlfriend in love. Mana couldn't help but laugh. What she had just heard was worth gold. She wanted to tell all of her friends about it and breath should be first. Out of sheer enthusiasm for the possibilities that were offered to the budding magician, she ran to inform the Pharaoh as soon as possible.
“Did you hear that too? "Isis asked. “Yes, those were steps,” confirmed Mahado. “You stay here. I will find out. "" No, "protested Isis." The night is so beautiful and the stars and ... please stay here."Mahado shook his head" If someone has seen us, the whole palace will know about tomorrow at the latest and I don't want that. We will have to explain it to the children and to all of our colleagues. "Isis smiled:" Well, you stayed here to tell me that and now it's too late. That someone is sure to be gone. Besides, we can still deny everything. “Mahado was smiling too now. He hugged her and for a moment time seemed to stand still.
She didn't do that for Mana, however. Now she ran through the palace courtyard and thought feverishly how to get past the guards. Spells were always a solution, but if they went wrong, Mahado would find out and she didn't like that at all. Fortunately, a few guards fell asleep and so the problem solved itself. Mana snuck past the guards unnoticed. And then she was standing in front of the door to the king's room, whom she liked to call Oji.She knocked but of course no one answered. So the cheeky little magician simply pushed the door open and she was already in the room. Breath lay in bed and slept and Mana hadn't expected anything else. But now he had to wake up and find out what she had heard. "Hello Oji" shouted Mana. "WHAT" Breath immediately sat upright in bed with a dagger in hand. "Help" yelled Mana and backed away from the bed. “Mana” grumbled breath “You scared me to death. I almost attacked you. What shoud that? “Breath glanced at his girlfriend angrily. He didn't think it was funny at all.
"Take that thing away," yelled Mana, pointing to the dagger. "" What do you think? "Responded, annoyed." If someone comes past the guards, I have to be able to defend myself and it looks like my caution was justified. "Mana looked guiltily at Breath:" I'm sorry, Oji, "she said," But I absolutely had to tell you something.“The Pharaoh climbed out of bed skeptically. "Middle of the night? He asked disinterestedly. "" It's very important, "Mana exclaimed." It's the information of the century. Will you play with me tomorrow if i tell you " "What? “Mana news was less and less interested in breath. He didn't want to be disturbed by her in the middle of the night. Firstly, this made him doubt the quality of his security measures and, secondly, his girlfriend was extremely difficult to get rid of. “Please, please,” begged Mana. “I've got other things to do, too,” breath complained. “Good night, Mana. “Sadly, Mana looked out the window. What should she do now. Her boyfriend was annoyed and the last thing he wanted to hear now was her news. Then he was unlucky. Then it would not be known. Tomorrow he would surely come to her by himself and then she would have the better cards.“Good night, Pharaoh,” she replied coolly and left. "Huh? “Breath understood nothing. What was that supposed to mean. Maybe he should apologize, but actually he was the one who had brought Mana to sleep.
No, thought breath, and went back to bed. But he couldn't fall asleep. What was Mana trying to tell him? Was it important? There were problems? "Hi, father, do you have an idea? “He asks the millennium puzzle that was lying next to him in bed. Of course it was silent, but Breath felt better when he could talk to someone.
The next morning Karim stormed into the priests' "occupation room" with a piece of papyrus. Isis was polishing her millennium chain, Akunadin was looking for a book around the shelf, Mahado was sitting on a chair a noticeably large distance from Isis and scribbling something on a piece of paper. Seto and Shada weren't there and it had been quiet until just now. “It's that time again” shouted Karim. “In three weeks, exactly a year will be over. Then there will be another festival of love." "What? "Isis fell down the millennium chain in shock and for it she immediately reaped one of Akunadin's" This is not how you handle a sacred millennium object "looks. "Really? "Mahado asked happily, jumping up." Then we have to make preparations. "" We can skip it, too, "came a comment from Akunadin. “Skip what, master? “Asked Seto, who just entered the room with Shada. "The festival of love," declared Isis. "It can't fail," protested Mahado. Akunadin rolled his eyes in annoyance. He knew what was coming next. "And Akunadin has to prepare it" said Karim and Atem's uncle felt an inner urge to pop his fellow priest Karim for this comment. But salvation was near. In the form of Mahado, who ran over to Akunadin and implored: “May I prepare it, please. "" You don't seriously think that he refuses, "commented Seto."Let's inform the Pharaoh," suggested Shada. Everyone except Akunadin nodded and immediately left the room. Idiots, thought Akunadin. He hoped his nephew would forbid the festival, but the chance was as great as the Mana Pharaoh would.
Breath now stood before his throne and she steadfastly refused to sit down. "What about it? “Asked Shimon. "Sit down, then you know," breath urged him. "But I can't," protested Shimon. "Come on," breath said impatiently. Shimon reluctantly sits on the throne and he gave in immediately and crashed. "And? "Breath asked" How did that happen? “I think Mana and the other mage students practiced something here the other day,” Shimon replied. The other priests now joined the scene. Mahado couldn't help smiling.
"Pharaoh, I have to talk to you" Mahado took the initiative while his colleagues were still staring at Shimon.“Do you always have to fall into the house with the door? “Asked Seto annoyed. "What is? "Breath asked." I'm busy. "" O. k, a bad time to ask something, "Isis whispered." Let's go again. ““ No, ”Kaim called a little too loudly. Everyone looked at him. Seto shot him an angry look. “Somebody get me out of here,” Shimon interrupted the conversation. "Sorry Master" Shada was there immediately and pulled Shimon out of the ruins of Breath's throne. Mahado was getting restless. The conversation didn't turn out the way he wanted it to. "Pharaoh, you know what day it is today," he asked. Breath was not in the mood for such games. He looked at Mahado skeptically. "Let him," Isis whispered, but Mahado was way too excited. Seto slapped his hand against his forehead in annoyance. "Can we talk to you alone, Pharaoh" asked Karim, who viewed the matter a little more objectively than Karim.Breath was to be understood. Just like last time, Mahado glanced at Isis noticeably often. And that could only mean one. Only this time all the other priests stood behind him and ... Wait a minute, where was Akunadin? "Now ask him" urges a visibly annoyed Seto. "Ask me," said an equally annoyed Pharaoh. "I ask for your permission in Akunadin's place to prepare the festival of love for this year," Mahado solemnly made his request. Breath watched Isis blush.
Seto had meanwhile put on his "finally look" and Karim smiled contentedly and expectantly.
Breath didn't know what to say. On the one hand it was unfair to deny them this wish, but the last time the party was overshadowed by a fire in the palace and Atem didn't know if his uncle could pull himself together this time.
"And? "Asked Mahado and Seto pushed his elbow in the side admonishingly:" Don't be so impatient.“I think the idea is good,” she reported to Shimon, who had just been lifted out of the rubble by Shada. "So I ..." breath began. "We can come back later," interjected Isis, who apparently didn't seem to like the idea of the celebration of love that much anymore. "All
