the autumn wind, there was a rustling with every step as he ran through the many leaves, his eyes widened.
He slowed down and finally stopped.It could only be a dream! Over there, on the edge of the fountain, sat the young woman he loved and had her gaze fixed on him.
The Hanyou screwed up his eyes tightly and opened them again. But when he realized that this wasn't a dream, his mouth fell open.
"Kagome ...!?"
"I knew you would come, Inuyasha.", She said with a dreamy smile.
His heart began to pound wildly and he felt the uncanny urge to pull her into his arms, but his legs did not move from the place.
He lowered his gaze slightly so that you couldn't see his eyes as they were covered by his white hair. There was a smile on his lips too.
"I told you I would wait."
He looked up again and the next moment their eyes met again. Kagome's eyes shone, apparently fighting back tears.
"I missed you, Inuyasha ...", she said quietly, but the smile did not leave her delicate lips.The wind played with her hair and the way she sat ... fragile and yet strong ... she was just beautiful.
You could tell by looking at her; she had grown up and matured. Quieter and more thoughtful. But no matter how much she had changed - the white-haired man loved her as always.

A scream almost escaped his throat when he saw her struggle to get up.
"Kagome, what- ?!"
"Stay away, Inuyasha ... I could do it on my own ..." she replied, gritting her teeth. It took all her concentration to get back on her feet.
When she finally stood, she turned her gaze directly to Inuyasha. With a serious expression she took the first step in the soft grass.
"But ... Kagome ..." Inuyasha was completely torn by his emotions. He didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
Another step followed immediately, but she had to be careful not to falter.
Sweat appeared on her forehead as she took the third step.Her rib cage rose and fell quickly by the time she got to the fourth. Five ... six ... Kagome ran! She could walk!
It was a miracle! But the moment she started to shine, she lost her strength again ...
"Aahh .."
She fell forward, completely exhausted.
"Kagome!" Shouted the golden-eyed man in horror and jumped to her to catch her. He held himself securely in his arms and hugged her lightly. Now that he finally had her back with him, he never wanted to give her back! Never in life! Nobody could take HIS Kagome away from him! No paralysis either ...

The brunette sobbed and buried her head in Inu Yasha's clothes as much as she could.
"I'm so happy, Inuyasha!" She gasped, lifting her head to look into his shining eyes.
"I will never leave you alone again, Kagome!", He promised her and gently brushed a strand from her face. With the other he stroked her back gently and felt her shudder.He smiled at her and held her head with both hands.
"Inuyasha ..."
But before she could say anything else, he had put his lips on hers and kissed her tenderly. Both of them reflexively closed their eyes and enjoyed the moment to the fullest.
Kagome's heart was pounding in his throat and she could bet that Inuyasha could hear it too. Kagome had never felt anything so wonderful before. Inu Yasha's lips were incredibly soft and delicate ...
Actually, she never wanted to break away from them again, but then the cool wind made her tremble.
The hanyou broke the kiss, albeit reluctantly, having noticed her trembling.
"Are you cold?"
Kagome shook her head, but she couldn't fool him. Carefully he turned her over and sat down with her on the grass. His arms were wrapped around her and his body gave her warmth. Kagome couldn't remember ever feeling this comfortable.
"Kagome ... you will do it.After what you've just done, I really believe that ... "
"Do you mean the kiss or my attempts to walk?" Asked the brunette and had to grin slightly.
Fortunately, she didn't see the half-demon turn red.
"Of course I meant your attempts to walk ..."
They were silent for a while, but then Kagome spoke up.
"I think you were right, Inuyasha. I won't make it, but ... we." She smiled to herself and snuggled up to him a little longer.
The palm of her hand opened again to reveal the splinter she had been holding the whole time.
Inuyasha looked down and saw the splinter in her hand.
"I think so too," he breathed into her ear and opened his left hand as well.
Kagome's eyes widened when she saw the remaining fragments of the pearl. Unable to speak, she put her splinter on the small pile in Inu Yasha's hand, then closed it in a fist again.
"My present for you.", she whispered and closed her eyes smiling happily.
