"I'm not your servant! Make yourself something to eat!"
A loud snort followed and Shadow watched as the blue-haired woman was pushed into the kitchen. Vegeta had argued with her several times since she moved in, which was about three days ago. Almost as often as with Shadow herself. She stood behind the doorway and listened, grinding her teeth.
"I'm hungry and if you don't want me to get uncomfortable, you should swallow your pride and shove your ass into the kitchen - dalli!" Vegeta's rough voice tingled under Shadow's skin as she felt how he intensified his aura.
"Swallow proudly? The right one is talking!" Bulma didn't even think about giving in and Vegeta's growl became dangerously loud. Angry, the Saiya-jin grabbed the earth woman by the shoulders and pressed her against the wall to undoubtedly hiss some threats at her, but the black-haired woman got ahead of him and made herself noticeable.“You just can't be with women, can you?” Shadow had her arms crossed as she walked into the room and disapproved of the small distance between the two.
“Stay out of there if you know what's good for you!” He barely paid her any attention and Shadow angrily pushed the two apart as she made her way to the refrigerator. She took out a soda can and took a sip with relish.
"You are a prince and have worse manners than a beggar."
Just before her face his palm appeared and you could already see his glowing energy.
"We had that before ..." she said with a grin. At least she had his attention now.
"Vegeta!" shouted Bulma, but the prince ignored her. His eyes were firmly anchored in Shadows and glared at her menacingly. The young woman shrugged back in shock, but grinned again very quickly. He wanted to argue with her? He could have it! She wasn't scared, even though she had really taken it too far last time. The bruise on her cheek was still clearly visible.
“What is it, do you want to kill me?” She took another sip calmly.
"Shadow!" Bulma looked up and down between the two of them. The little one just didn't know when it was enough!
Vegeta's anger, meanwhile, increased and the energy increased.
"Okay, you won Vegeta. I'm telling my mother to make some food. But woe to her destroying my kitchen!"
Vegeta gave Bulma an approving look and let the energy fade.
"We can go outside." The black-haired woman poked after her, but Vegeta didn't listen to her, but watched as the Bulma asked her mother with the hands-free device to make something to eat.
"..." Angry, Shadow pushed the prince aside and went outside into the garden to get some fresh air. What was she thinking of in there? Why did she irritate the Saiya-jin so much? She was angry with herself. Why had it bothered her so much that he had argued with Bulma?"We weren't finished yet." She winced when she heard Vegeta's voice behind her. His sharp tone did not bode well, and she turned carefully to face him. His eyes rested cold on her and his grin widened when he saw that she wasn't as confident as before.
"Tired of life, huh? Just because you can hide behind Bulma in the house ..."
He grabbed her arm and roughly pulled her towards him.
"Do you think so? I don't have to!" Her fear was gone when she heard that. Did he really believe that she was only confronting him because he wouldn't do anything to be able to continue living with the letters?
He squeezed harder and she grimaced. That really hurt.
"Watch your tongue. Or you will eventually wake up without it ..." Then he pushed her away and disappeared back inside. Shadow landed rudely in the meadow and felt her arm. That probably gave a couple of bruises again ...A little later Mrs. Briefs called for dinner and Shadow strolled into the large dining room. Vegeta was already there and she glared at him as she sat down.
Bulma was talking something about a new invention, but Shadow only listened half-heartedly until she noticed that Vegeta was apparently looking into her clipping. She felt the jealousy rise in her and bit harder into her steak.
"Hey Vegeta, put the salt over there!" she called to him, but the Saiya-jin didn't move an inch. Was he so fascinated by Bulma that he didn't even hear her? Furious, she grabbed a spoon of peas and fired the latter at him.
Confused at first, rather quickly but angry, his gaze wandered to her.
"Are you deaf or what I'm talking to you !!"
Shadow smirked at Bulma.
"You don't look into your hostess's neckline !!"
"What?" shouted Bulma in horror and looked at the prince. Did he discover it? Vegeta seemed relaxed now and crossed her arms."You thought you could hide it from me, didn't you?"
Confused, Shadow looked back and forth between Bulma and Vegeta. What was he talking about?
"He's not finished yet, and I don't want you to endanger our house by training in there!"
Then she took a capsule from her breast pocket and set it aside.
“Huh?” Shadow cast a puzzled look at the little thing.
"The spaceship that Chichi wanted to fly to. It has a GR and Vegeta wants to train in it. But he just doesn't want to understand that it's not finished yet ..." With that she cast a punishing look at Vegeta.
"Oh ..." Shadow felt herself blush. How embarrassing, hopefully Vegeta didn't notice. She quickly took her plate and carried it into the kitchen. Maybe no one had seen her red face ... maybe ...

The sun was setting slowly and Shadow went outside on the balcony to watch the sunset.
'Bulma and Vegeta. They go so well together.'She thought sadly and sighed.
The colors were unusually varied, a spectrum from yellow, orange, red - to pink, purple and blue. The clouds that hung a little further away from the horizon in the sky shimmered turquoise.
Thoughtfully, she sat on the balcony railing to be a little closer to the sky.
"I'm so stupid!" she muttered sadly.
“At least you can see it.” Screaming, she slipped off the railing and would have fallen almost meters if she hadn't held onto the last piece of the parapet.
The cause of her fright was still leaning relaxed and scowl as always against the wall of the balcony.
"Vegeta! You couldn't just help me, could you? It goes down pretty deep ..."
The prince looked down at her disinterestedly.
"No, why should I?"
Desperately she tried to climb up.
"Hey, I could really hurt myself !!"
"Should I be interested in that? Besides, you can fly ..." His expression was indifferent again and he watched as she slowly pulled herself up and landed panting on the safe balcony.“Not when I want to.” She shot him an insulted look. Did he really care that much? Probably. The last week at Bulma he had always been unfriendly and they often got into each other's hair. She has not put up with anything since the incident with the glass and the arguments amused the Briefs and the Namek people more and more often. Most of the time it ended up in a very dangerous situation for her, but mostly she managed to hide her fear of Vegeta.
She followed his gaze to the stars and sighed. What was hidden behind the sparkling diamonds in those infinite black? Vegeta knew. Perhaps he would return there one day. Who would he take with him? Bulma? Again she sighed.
“You like Bulma, don't you?” Vegeta gave her a surprised but not friendly look.
"Tz. What's that got to do with you?" Shadow quickly turned his head away from him. Vegeta eyed the young woman skeptically.
"I'm only interested in my training."She pushed her lower lip forward, pouting.
"But you put up with a lot of her!"
"I'm taking too much of you." Surprised, she turned to Vegeta. But his eyes were still fixed on the stars.
“T-really?” She had never noticed that before. But when she thought about it, he was right. She felt herself blush and smiled at him.
Confused, the prince backed away a little as she leaned forward.
"Tomorrow I'll go shopping with Bulma. I need clothes, can't walk around in her things forever ..." 'They're always too big for me on top,' thought Shadow angrily.
Then she winked at Vegeta and he gave her a blank look. What was she talking about? What did that have to do with him?
"Nonsense to who else. What do I care about this woman's stuff ?!"
Shadow turned to the side again.
"Hmph. Are you coming with me? Or should I take something for you?"
“Pah!” She sighed angrily and turned back to the sky."Do you really think that I am strong?" she finally asked after a while.
"No."
Annoyed, she crossed her arms.
"But you are not quite as weak as humans."
Vegeta's gaze hung in the distance of the stars and he seemed to have completely forgotten that Shadow was with him. He could only think of Kakarott. He had to become stronger than himself, stronger than a supersaiya-jin.
"Are you training me?"
His attention returned to the woman in front of him.
"Of course it will come to that. That I hold up my training with a weak brat like you. Tze!" He made a derogatory movement and disappeared back into his room.
"Arrogant idiot!"
