Fanfic: Die Verlorenen Erinnerungen

this poor creature padded through the night. Like an inner instinct that kept pushing you on, not stopping, over and over ...

.....

She no longer had a feeling for anything, she hardly felt her legs, she lacked any sense of time. The only thing she could use for orientation would be the sun, but unfortunately nothing of it could be seen. In return, the moon let its silver glow fall on the earth.

Her gaze had been fixed on the floor for a long time, she rarely looked up, only briefly to look around a little. So she had enough time to take a closer look at the forest floor. This was covered with leaves from last autumn, moss and occasional grass. Just like you imagine a forest floor. But all of a sudden she stopped, her foot was no longer on the typical forest floor, but on long, lush grass, occasionally with flowers. So she slowly raised her gaze and saw a clearing here in the middle of this "jungle". Free of trees and the lush forest floor. This pleased her to a certain extent, it was a change. But she only knew that for a short time, because she had to keep going ...

Maybe it was a reflex, an instinct, or maybe she even sensed it. But the moment she wanted to leave the clearing, she turned her head to the left and saw something ... that she almost overlooked. A stone from the heart to her, this was the first ray of hope after so long.

> A hut ..... There is actually a hut there. It looks pretty deserted, but maybe someone will come by sometime ... I could stay there for the time being, relax and ... <

It was a lot to her what she could do now, the wooden hut was in a certain way very shabby. The moon was reflected in some of the remaining windows. She didn't think long, she never thought long since she was here. The girl walked towards the hut, she opened the door (it creaked) and stepped inside.

She didn't see anything, absolutely nothing. The sun was far from being seen and the moon was not enough to illuminate the interior of the hut. She held out her hand so as not to run in front of anything. So she felt the objects that were in the middle of the hut. Slowly her eyes got used to the darkness, she still couldn't see very much, but she now took on some outlines. All of a sudden her gaze wandered to a corner of the hut, she couldn't see exactly what was lying there on the ground. So she walked slowly step by step, knelt down and tried to feel whatever it was. For a brief moment her face shone because she felt straw, it might not be a bed, but still softer than sleeping on the hard floor. But suddenly she stopped, held her breath for seconds when her hands felt something atypical for straw, something warm. Shocked, she stared into the darkness, but her hands continue to feel, but now more cautiously, in order to have a final certainty ..... which has now been confirmed. It triggered mixed feelings in her, on the one hand fear and on the other hand hope and a little joy ... She had finally found someone!

It felt like an eternity to her, she almost believed she had never done anything else in her life except to walk through this green hell. The stranger, whoever he was, seemed to be fast asleep, she decided not to wake him up, because she didn't know how he or she would react, to be woken up by a dark figure in the middle of the night.

So she decided to sit in a corner of the hut, get some sleep and introduce herself to the strangers tomorrow.

It didn't take a minute for the young woman to fall asleep, just the thought that she no longer had to sleep outside or in the rain, had something of luxury for her ...§She felt this familiar blackness around her, she felt once more the fear of what lay behind the fog.

Another time a shadow of a city opened up in the far back. She looked there confused, but something in her had the need to go there, to have to go there. So she took a few steps in that direction. But she had the feeling not to move, so she ran and the more she noticed that she hadn't come an inch closer to the city, she increased her pace, but that didn't help either. She ran as fast as she could, she gave everything she had, but this strange city was not getting any closer. Finally she fell on the ground, gasping for air ... she just couldn't get into town ..... §

He opened his eyes painfully, every single part of his body was causing him pain. It was also difficult for him to breathe, he straightened up slowly, his clothes were covered with his purple blood. He held on to the table and slowly pulled himself up.

Suddenly he stopped moving. He saw the girl lying in a corner, he didn't know why himself, but such anger rose in him, so he ran to the girl with his last strength, grabbed her by the neck and held her a few centimeters above the floor.

The young woman didn't know what was happening to her ... she tried to loosen his grip from her neck with her delicate fingers. She had to hurry because she was already gasping for breath, the additional panic that made things easier in her ascent. And the grip of the unknown got tighter and tighter and tighter .....
