Chapter 1: When an angel meets a demon

A normal morning in paradise ...

The warm rays of the sun tickled a blue-haired angel on the tip of the nose so gently woke him up. Still a bit sleepy, the female angel blinked and yawned heartily.
When she realized that the weather seemed to be wonderful, she was suddenly awake. With her big, shiny eyes she looked in the direction of the window and was immediately on her feet to open it.With such wonderful weather you couldn't be in a bad mood! She beamed at the clouds, which looked like cotton candy.
Cotton candy?! That was the idea! This day was perfect to spend on earth. Anyway, she wanted to have a look around the fairground that she had discovered some time ago.
She flew straight out of the window and immediately felt the cool morning breeze on her face. Despite the sun it was quite fresh.
To really wake up, she decided to fly a few meters above the clouds before heading to earth. Smiling to herself, she plunged into the cloud cover and reappeared below her. Immediately she was presented with a wonderful sight. She had the best view of Tokyo, a beautiful city that she had visited many times. With a few flaps of her wing towards the ground, she floated silently towards the still sleepy capital.

// What boredom ... //The good-looking demon stared into space with a cloudy look. She was sitting on a stone in the underworld and had crossed her legs while some of the other demonesses were whispering softly. Sakura knew they were gossiping about her ... but she didn't mind being an outsider. She had got used to the loneliness and was happy with it.
However, in order to distract herself, she decided to take a morning flight. That would surely change her mind.
To do this, she left the large caves and made her way to earth, where at least she did not have to see anyone.

Yuiko flew through the streets humming happily. She thought it was a shame that she couldn't see people. Only those who have received a gift from God can see angels and demons. But these people are mostly labeled as witches ...
Sighing softly, she flew around a corner and hit someone violently.
"Ouch ..." she grumbled as she landed rudely on her bottom."Can't you be careful ?!" someone asked in a very rude tone and Yuiko noticed that the person had also landed on the floor. On closer inspection, she noticed that it was not a human being; but not an angel either. Should that be ...?!
The young angel had never seen a demon before. With big eyes she stared at the person in front of her and stammered:
"T-I'm really sorry ..." As the polite way of an angel was - she blamed herself and immediately apologized. She had heard so many stories about evil demons serving Lucifer, but she had never met one. At first glance, the demon woman she had just bumped into appeared to be really dangerous and angry, but when you look closely ... she actually looked nice and, above all, really good.
The demoness rubbed her back and grumbled to herself. Apparently she hadn't yet noticed who she'd bumped into.When she lifted her gaze, she froze in the middle of the massaging motion. An angel?!
However ... this angel girl was different from the others. These blue eyes radiated an incredible innocence and purity, but she saw no anger against them in the shining sapphires ... Normally she could see the hatred and contempt for demons in angel eyes.
Her pride and dignity told her to yell at the angel immediately, but her mouth disobeyed her.
"It's okay, but better watch out next time!"
Was it that look that made her say such words? And she didn't even have an arrogant tone! She had said it rather gently.
Somehow she couldn't do it with this angel. Was it because he was too young and probably not a threat to her? In any case, it seemed to her that the girl had never seen a demon - the way she stared at the blue-haired woman ...
However, in order not to get completely soft, she quickly added:"Who knows whether I'll be so gracious to you next time!"
It was a load from Yuiko's heart, because the demoness didn't seem to want to harm her. She had been reasonably friendly to her and that piqued her curiosity. Weren't all beings from the underworld bad and mean?
"Are you a ... demon?" She asked carefully and only then noticed that they were both still sitting on the floor. She got up hastily and shook hands with the other, which she did not take.
"Yes, I am.", The demon replied dryly and got up on her own. She didn't have that much trust in this angel yet ... She couldn't bend a single hair, but maybe it was an ambush and one of the archangels was lurking somewhere nearby ...
Since she couldn't get rid of the creature with the white wings anyway, she decided to ask a counter question.
"Have you never seen a demon?" She asked, looking intently at the blue-eyed woman. Yuiko even made the demon look respectful for this look.Respect, but not fear.
"No, I haven't yet.", She admitted quietly and still looked at the other person with interest.
"What's your name, demon?" Asked the angel and put on a sweet smile.
The larger one winced at this question. It was one of the supreme laws of hell - never give your name to an angel you don't know.
It could really be an ambush ...
// Nonsense, you see ghosts ... //, thought the demoness quietly and without thinking, she revealed her name to the angel.
"Sakura. And what's your name, angel?" Actually, she wasn't really interested in her name, because she would probably never see the angel again after her excursion ... or kill him during a battle.
"Sakura ... just beautiful!", Enthused Yuiko and beamed. The stories were all wrong! Not all demons were evil!
"I'm Yuiko!", She introduced herself with a smile and held out her hand one more time. She was happy that she was finally no longer so alone.This time Sakura took it and shook it lightly. A slight tingling sensation came from the palm of her hand, but she couldn't explain where it was coming from.
"Um ... you already know who you're dealing with, don't you?" She asked and raised her eyebrows. She just wanted to make sure Yuiko knew she was a demon - an evil being. After receiving an answer, she planned to end the conversation as quickly as possible and make her way home. She had enough for today.
"Of course.", The angel said, still smiling.
"But you're not like other demons ..." she chattered on, ignoring the fact that it might offend Sakura. "I've never met anyone, but there is a lot going on in paradise. Demons are evil ... but it's not you at all!"
Without realizing it, the two were still holding hands and when Sakura noticed this, she carefully tried to pull away from Yuiko, but she couldn't.So her 'get answer and go' plan was in the can.
"Believe me, I can be completely different ..." For the first time since she had met this angel, she managed a mean smile. At least that's what she believed ...
// What a cute smile! //, Yuiko gushed inwardly and the demon noticed that the blue-haired woman wasn't afraid at all.
// Damn it, what's wrong with me ?! Is she manipulating me? // Sakura shook her head angrily when the angel wasn't looking.
"Oh God, you are cute!", Yuiko giggled and didn't notice how the demon flinched again. She didn't know why - was it because the angel called her 'cute', or was it because of the word 'God'?
Suddenly she noticed that Yuiko had released her hand and was flying around her. Interested, she stroked the black wings and gave Sakura a shiver.
"Wooooow, they are schööööön!" She exclaimed in amazement and her eyes shone enthusiastically."W-wa ...? N-cute?" That was all Sakura could say. Shocked, she looked at the angel and her heart pounded excitedly. No one had ever called her 'cute' or complimented her in any other way.
"Oh yes.", Yuiko smiled and examined every corner of her new 'friend'.
"You are really pretty!" She enthused, flapping her wings excitedly to somehow express her enthusiasm.
"Shall we fly around together for a bit?" She suggested, looking pleadingly at Sakura with eyes that were hard to resist.
Sakura looked like a tomato by now. Actually she would see it as a humiliation and insult to be called 'pretty' by an angel, but with this angel everything was different anyway ... When she heard her question, her demon heart immediately said 'no', but her lips spoke the word not from.
"All right ..." She was completely bewitched by those eyes and that look; she couldn't possibly refuse.In addition, she had decided to find out why she was so tame with the blue-eyed angel ...
