Chapter 1: The Search for the Past

It was the last day before summer vacation, Yugi and his friends were at school.
"If the doorbell is about to ring, please pack your things. I wish you a nice summer vacation, we'll see you again in 6 weeks!", Said Ms. Shikoto and ended the class.
Joey, Tristan and Yugi quickly packed up their things.
"Why don't you come with Téa?", Joey asked with a tired look when they came into Téa's class.
"Because I have to help my mother pack at home, I told you that 6 times today!" Came the unexpected answer from Téa.
"Come on, we have to go!", Tristan dragged Joey, who looked quite thoughtful, out the door, "Otherwise we'll be too late!"
"See you tomorrow!", Téa said goodbye to the others.
"Bye!" Came back from them as if at the push of a button.
On the way home, Téa walked through the park as always, but this time something was wrong here, you couldn't hear a dog barking, children screaming or pedestrians.Only the chirping of birds disturbed the silence.
"Funny!", She whispered softly, "Otherwise there is always something going on here at this time, unless ..." she paused: "... YOU are back."

Note: By SHE, Téa means a group of young people who rioted in the park a few weeks ago and hissed at the walkers.

Shortly after she said it, the group of boys who were about 100 m away caught her eye.
She made a quick leap and hopped into the nearest bush.
"Great, and now, should I stay here until they are gone, or how is that going !?"
But then Téa gathered up her courage, jumped out of the bushes and went back the way she had come, in the hope that she would not be noticed, which she finally succeeded in doing.
And so it happened that Téa ran around the park to come home just to avoid meeting YOU.
In the meantime, she thought of an excuse to explain to her strict "mother" why she was arriving so late.When she got home, Téa didn't stand in front of the front door for long, but was greeted by Max.
"Max, my sweetheart, have you missed me? Where is my mother? Is she upstairs? Well, I'd better go up!", Téa greeted him.
"Wauwau." Was only the answer from the Canadian Shepherd.
As soon as Téa stood on the stairs that led upwards, it happened.
"Tabéa-Isabelle-Magdalena Gardner, where are you from at this hour?", It said from above, "You should come home straight away from school. Or did you meet up with your little friends again? Don't hesitate long, but answer me! ", Téa's" mother "complained like a sergeant.
"Yes, Ms. Sergeant!", Téa thought secretly, but then decided to answer decently: "I beg your pardon, mother. When I got to the park I remembered that I had my um ... book at school forgot and so I went back to get it. So that I can study during the holidays! ""Oh ... if that is the case, I will forgive you!" Came the relieving reply.
If her "mother" hadn't left so quickly, Téa would have picked up a lecture.
Because no sooner had Sophia (Téa's "mother") finished speaking, Téa had to laugh so hard that she could just hold it back until Sophia was gone.

Info: Téa, or in full name Tabéa-Isabelle-Magdalena, Gardner, lives with her "mother" Sophia in a villa. Yugi, Joey and Tristan never come to Téa to pick her up, because Sophia is such a shock that even Tristan, who is actually very brave, jitters before her.

"Goodbye mother!", Téa politely said goodbye to her.
"Goodbye my little mouse!" Replied Sophia.
As soon as the limousine had turned the next corner, Téa grabbed Max and went for a walk with him.
They didn't come home until late in the evening, around 11 p.m.
Exhausted, she dropped into her bed and fell asleep shortly afterwards."Ring, ring, ring!", Téa was rang rudely from her bed the next morning by her alarm clock.
"It's only 10 o'clock, I don't want to get up yet!" She moaned to herself.

"What? Already 10 o'clock! What a bummer, I wanted to meet Yugi ... and Joey ... and Tristan at half past ten."
Shocked, she jumped out of bed, went into the bathroom and showered.
Then she got dressed within 5 minutes, which is a record time for her, and had breakfast.
At 5 to 11:30, she grabbed Max and ran with him to the market square, where the four of them wanted to meet.
Tristan was already pacing impatiently.
"Hey dude, if you don't stop right away, something's going on! You're driving one crazy!", Joey yelled at his friend who was walking around.
"That is no longer necessary with you!" Came Tristan’s casual answer.
As expected, it ended in a squabble.
"Get her back, she's coming back there!" With this sentence, Yugi managed to keep the two brawlers apart."Hi guys, Sorry I'm so late!", Téa groaned, "How was it at the cinema yesterday?"
"Well, it went like that. We didn't watch the film to the end.", Joey's prompt answer came.
"Do we want to chat or go to the * D. M.A.?" Tristan interrupted the conversation.

On the way to the D.M.A. Téa told Yugi about her discovery in the park.
"How? You are back? But I thought we got rid of you?", Yugi asked curiously.
"I thought so too", Téa thought that something was missing.
"Where is Max? He was just there after all?", She looked around searchingly until she discovered the runaway in the rose bed of a very angry gardener.
He ran after the dog with a watering can, which made a leap and gallantly landed on the street.
It flew past the four like a tornado.
They ran after him so that they wouldn't feel the harshness of a watering can.
When they arrived at the arena, completely exhausted, they quickly noticed that it was locked."Joey?", Téa asked with a slight undertone, "Did you read the slip correctly that the tournament is today? Or skipped a line again?"
"Um ... well, I-I think ..." he stuttered, "I g-w-think I've m-misread me."
And so it happened that Joey picked up a head nut from Tristan and the four parted.
Joey and Tristan wanted to go to the next takeout.
Téa and Yugi didn't quite know what to do with the day.
The first thing they did was go to the café on the market square and have a drink.
As they sat there, Yugi thought that he could tell Téa the Pharaoh's secret.
After all, she was the only one in the clique who understood that and wouldn't label him insane right away.
And so he started, Téa listened curiously to "little" Yugi.
"Aha, and now the um ... Pharaoh doesn't know anything about his past?", She repeated Yugi's last sentence, "Maybe it will be easier for him to remember when he's back in Egypt, doesn't it?""Yes, yes, but how are we supposed to get there, I mean, that's not exactly around the corner!"
"That's right!", But then it fell from Téa's eyes like scales, "My father has a private plane. With that we could easily fly to Egypt! After all, we have summer vacation and therefore enough time.
As soon as the sentence was pronounced she jumped up, dragged Yugi out of the café, went with him to his home, called the other two and told them about her idea.
A little annoyed, they agreed and the four met the next day at the airport with their suitcases packed.
"So and where is the plane now?", Joey still sounded a little annoyed.
Quite unexpectedly, someone said "Good morning" to the four.
Téa turned around and immediately recognized the red-haired, slim young man who seemed to have said this.
"I've been waiting for you, Miss Gardner, the plane is on runway 3 as always," he said extremely politely, turned to the side and told the other two men to load the suitcases."Hey, that's a really crazy airplane! But why does it have such a funny name !?", Joey screamed while jumping from one foot to the other.

In response, the young man, whose name was Alestor and who was apparently the pilot, said, "TIM is the abbreviation for Tabéa-Isabelle-Magdalena."
So they got in and took off shortly afterwards.
As soon as they were in the air, everyone relaxed.
After a good 5 hours they arrived at their destination.
They took a taxi and made their way to the temple, where they hoped to meet Marik.
While Téa was looking around, she asked Yugi, who had meanwhile turned into Yami-Yugi: "Where are we actually going, if I may ask?"
"To Marik, he's a grave guard and can help us with our search. I don't think you know him, because that was before we met!", Yami-Yugi replied.
As soon as they entered the temple grounds, Odeon, the "servant" of Marik, met them."Welcome Pharaoh!", He greeted him friendly, "And a warm welcome to you too."
"Hello Odeon, will you take us to Marik, please?" Said Yami-Yugi.
Odeon brought her to him who, as expected, was delighted to see Pharaoh again.
"What are you doing here?" Said the tomb guard, "and who is the sweet one?"
Téa turned slightly red.
"This is Téa, she made sure that we are here. While I'm at it, we are here to find out something about my past!" Said the Pharaoh.
"Oh ..." came back from Marik. If so, we should go to Pharaoh's cave. We will certainly learn a lot there. To do this, however, we have to go through the desert and that is not exactly a walk! "
"Um ... and why not? I mean you have to arrive quickly with a car, right?", Joey stammered.
Marik looked at him with wide eyes: "No, no, it's not that simple. It's too dangerous by car, because there are a lot of steep slopes there.We'll take camels! "
Tristan's and Joey's jaws dropped down in sync.

The next day, barely after the sun rose, we started.

Together with 6 camels and the two dogs (Téa's dog Max and Rey, Marik's dog) across the desert.
After a good 3 hours they arrived at a large cave.
Exhausted, Joey crawled from his "ship of the desert" and let himself fall into the shadow of the cave.
"And in there we can find something about your past!", Marik grinned as he looked at the astonished Pharaoh.
When he was back together, he said: "Aha ... and why, of all things, in such a cave in the middle of a desert ?!"
"I have no idea!" It
