“I'll be back in a few days!” Kagome grabbed her backpack, which she had been carrying all along, and disappeared into the well.
Shippou hopped onto Inu-Yasha's back, who was still lying on the floor as if he were in his "Osuwari" position, and sighed.
“If you weren't always so mean to her, then she wouldn't go back to her time and maybe even stay here forever!” Shippou liked that very thought.After all, Kagome had become something of a surrogate mother to him.
Inuyasha shook her head, straightened up, and looked into the well, where there was a yawning emptiness.
