A girl with blonde hair was walking down the long hallway to the classroom. She had tied her hair in two pigtails, one hanging over the right and one over the left ear. She was wearing her school uniform. She entered the classroom shyly. Some students were already in the room talking. The blonde girl sat in her seat. She leaned back in her chair and stared at the ceiling.
"Well Yaya, what's up there on the ceiling?" came Moe's voice.
"Maybe she's hoping a friend will fall down for her," Seri scoffed.
"Oh uh hello. I was in thoughts," Yaya replied.
"Where were you yesterday? We missed you at the party or did you have to stay home?" Seri asked with a playful smile.
"I ... I didn't have time," Yaya replied.
"Aha, no time.Well, I tend to think that your papi didn't allow you, "said Seri.
"Yes, you are probably right. Yaya is sooooo good" laughed Moe.
"Well, I wouldn't accept that," said a young, male voice from behind Yaya.
"Good morning Moriyama! We were just kidding," Seri and Moe said in unison.
"Um, good morning," Yaya greeted the boy.
Seri and Moe turned their backs to Yaya and Moriyama and sat in their seats.
"Yaya, well I think you should really fight those times," advised Moriyama.
"Oh, you were just kidding. You are my friends," said Yaya.
"Maybe you should think twice about whether true friends would say something like that to you. I mean, you will find better ones, won't you?" said Moriyama.
"That's okay, really," Yaya replied with a pained smile.
Moriyama gave up and took his seat in front of Yaya.
The school hours were boring and dreary, just as sobering as the breaks. But Yaya's hope was that it wouldn't be long before it was over. When the bell rang, all students left the classroom. Yaya was the last to leave the room. She walked home comfortably. In her room she sat on her bed with a poster of a music group hanging over it.
> Oh Shohei, I wish I was different. You know I like Moriyama, but he has no idea. If I break the friendship between Seri and Moe, then I'll be all alone and I couldn't stand that, Yaya thought sadly.
She turned to the poster and knelt in front of it. She lovingly stroked her hand over the right cheek of the singer of the group shown. Then she jumped off her bed, sat at her desk, and did her homework.
She finally went to bed late at night ...
The next morning, Yaya went to school early, as usual. She sat down on her desk in the classroom, put the headphones in her ears and turned on her Discman. She moved her head slightly to the music from her favorite band Juliet.
> Shohei just has such a great voice. This music is just great, thought Yaya.
"'N morning Yaya!" Moriyama greeted them.
But Yaya didn't hear him. When Moriyama was seated, he turned and took the headphones from Yaya's ears.
"Hey stop!" Yaya scolded.
"Hmm, this is Juliet. I didn't know you were into such good music," said Moriyama.
"Wh ... what? Are you serious?" asked the girl incredulously.
"Sure, I think the music is really good. Do you know that Juliet's musical roots are with Led Zeppelin? If you want, you can have my CD. There are a few bonus songs on it," suggested the boy.
"Yes, I would like to hear that," Yaya replied enthusiastically.
"Okay. I think I even have it with me. You can give it to me again on Monday," said Moriyama pleasantly.
He gave the CD to Yaya. She put it away. But neither of them noticed that Seri and Moe were watching everything. With jealous looks and silence they punished Yaya for the rest of the day.
Again Yaya went home alone. As every day, she went straight to her room.
"Shohei, I love you, but I think there is still someone I like a lot, so please don't be angry with me if I'm a little unfaithful to you. But you are and will remain my number one," said Yaya the front man of the band on their poster.
She approached his pictured face and kissed his lips gently. Then she lay down on the bed and listened to the Moriyama CD.
> He's right, Juliet really has her roots in Led Zeppelin. Anyway, it sounds really great, thought Yaya.
Yaya looked at the cover of the CD and read through the songs until something caught her eye. Among all the songs by Led Zeppelin was my band and then three songs.
"Wow, he didn't tell me he was in a band," Yaya stated.
She now heard the last Led Zeppelin song.Just as she was about to turn off the discman, a song started being sung by Moriyama. The girl fell back on her bed and listened carefully to the music. Although she didn't really intend to, she listened to the CD until the end. This music just put Yaya under a kind of spell. She just couldn't stop.
> Wow Moriyama really has a ... a great voice. It's soft and at the same time it sounds hard. His songs express so much. I had no idea that he was making such good music, Yaya thought.
She listened to the CD several times over the weekend. But on Sunday she had something else in mind. Sunday was her day. Today she was free again. She would meet like-minded people who, in one way or another, were her real friends. So the girl went to the meeting, which took place every Sunday. Many of her friends were already there. Today she could be who she really was. With the others she felt as free as a bird.Besides music, Yaya's real hobby was cosplay. Their Sunday meeting was, so to speak, in honor of the Juliet group.
