Chapter 2

"Where love falls"

So, here it was ... Together with three completely different characters: the little innocent girl, the cheeky toad and the chunk of ice. She sighed: / What should I do? Well, I don't attract much attention here ... but still, I don't belong here. / She looked sadly into the clear water of the lake and saw her face.
She closed her eyes in disgust and changed back to human.
Behind her she heard a disgruntled sound: “Why are you hiding your appearance?” Startled, she turned around and saw Sesshoumaru standing behind her. She looked at the floor, embarrassed: "A stupid old habit of mine. I've lived among them for so long that I can no longer stand the way I look. It only bothered me. And it has already cost me a life." Tears rose in her eyes and she turned away.She had expected something like comfort, but he just walked away and leaned back against the tree.
/ Why does he ask if he doesn't care? / resignedly she looked back into the lake and looked at herself. As a person, she looked so normal.
"Who are you and where did you leave my friend Shan'dalar?" angry little Rin stamped her foot and glared at her. Shan'dalar had to smile slightly and wiped the tears from his eyes. The little one is just too cute. Something very special. "But Rin, I am. I just look different. I can change." Rin's face kept this incredulous expression: "I like you differently too. I don't know you that way."
Did you like the real you? Everything was really different here. She had never been accepted for what she really was.
She slowly transformed back and smiled at Rin. “Better that way?” Rin nodded. "Much better!"

Leaning against the tree, Sesshoumaru shook his head. / People ... you can corrupt demons yourself.I will never understand my father what he found in these inferior things /
"Rin, stop talking. It goes on." "Yes, Master Sesshoumaru!" excitedly the child looked for all the things and ran over to him. / What does she find in this block of ice? He doesn't treat her well, and yet she literally worships him. / Shan'dalar couldn't believe what she was seeing.
And yet: every time she looked at him, this stomach tingling began. She had felt more attracted to the "dangerous guys" and until now she had been able to re-educate everyone. Only this time she wasn't so sure. She managed a wry smile and got up too. Jaken came out from behind the next tree with AhUhn and Rin sat on the dragon's back. “I'll take the reins.” She stepped behind Jaken and held out her hand. He looked at his master and he just shrugged his shoulders.
Grumbling, he handed her the reins. Rin squealed in pleasure.They traveled for a while until Sesshoumaru's behavior suddenly changed. He stopped and looked up at the sky. "Rin, hide!" he ordered the girl and she jumped from AhUhn's back, took the reins from Shan'dalar and hid in the bushes. Confused, Shan'dalar stood there and looked up too. But she couldn't see anything. Doc suddenly the air changed. Shan'dalar gasped for air. What was that all about? She couldn't breathe! Her eyes blurred and she passed out. She just heard Rin desperately calling her name. / I can't help you, baby. I broke help myself. / She was barely able to think normally. And then everything was black.

When she woke up, she took a deep breath. Could you breathe again? What was it that happened? She opened her eyes carefully and looked around. She was lying in a cave and next to her was Sesshoumaru. His forehead was wet with sweat. Slowly she got up and went to him.Carefully she put a hand on his forehead. / He's glowing! What kind of stuff was that? / She looked around quickly, saw a pool of water and tore off a piece of her clothing to dip it in the cold water. She wrung it out and wiped his forehead. He groaned in his sleep. / When he's lying there he's really tame. / thought the blood elf with a smile on her face. She replaced the handkerchief and placed it on his forehead. Now she looked around the cave. She went towards the exit and there was a figure in a baboon coat.
"Ah, you have woken up. I don't know you yet, who are you and what are you looking for in the dog demon?" His voice sent a shiver down her spine. She winced and tried to reach for her sword, but she reached into space. / Well, then just different! / she tightened her body and closed her eyes: "Let's go! You don't know who you are dealing with!" Her voice had got a metallic undertone and when she opened her eyes, they were only glistening white .Her hair began to float upwards like in a hurricane and her feet no longer touched the ground. At home she had sent people to the slap with it, but the baboon looked calmly at her. “Are you finished?” She landed back on her feet and the rest of her “show” disappeared. Behind her she heard Sesshoumaru approaching. "What do you want, Naraku?" with that he took her hand and pulled her behind him. /What shoud that? / she thought angrily.
"Ah, Sesshoumaru. You haven't looked for a mate, have you?" Naraku's voice dripped with sarcasm. Shan'dalar was about to reply when Sesshoumaru's gaze silenced her. He looked at her cold as ice. Se immediately began to freeze.
"I asked you what you want! Answer and don't waste my time."
“You know what I want! I want to see your brother dead!” Hatred permeated his voice and Shan'dalar shuddered. Carefully she looked out from behind Sesshoumaru's back.He was still holding her hand. / He won't let go? /
"Then kill him, or are you too weak for that? And we will go now!" With that he stepped past Naraku and pulled the shy-looking blood elf behind him.
After a while he let go of her and called for Rin and the others. They came running straight away. Rin fell into her arms laughing. “You are fine!” She smiled down at the girl.
Then she looked at Sesshoumaru. He reached behind him and gave her back the scrap of cloth with which she had cooled his forehead. "Thanks."
She watched him go after him, completely confused. Her heart jumped. Was she about to fall in love?
