Suddenly turned to him and fell on his neck. She sobbed again and fought back the tears. Completely surprised, Inuyasha put his arms around the young girl. He enjoyed the hug, but he wasn't going to admit it. Kagome felt safe and secure, but she soon broke away from him and said quietly: "I'm sorry, it's okay, I've just been kind of depressed lately." Then she forced a slight smile. "Come on, let's go back to the others." said Kagome then, pointing to her friend. Inuyasha nodded and together they went back to the tree.

Inuyasha had become silent and thought. He loved her, he knew that for sure, but it wasn't that simple. He didn't want to be rejected.On the other hand, she meant so much to him. What should he do?
