Chapter 2: Wedding à la Weasley
When they arrived, Harry, Ron and Hermione were suddenly surrounded by a cluster of people. Aside from the whole Weasley family, Tonks, Lupine, Kingsley, and of course Fleur were there.
When everyone was congratulating Harry, it occurred to him that someone was missing. Ginny !!! She sat alone at the table and looked sadly at the floor, she tried to suppress the tears that she swallowed again and again after the funeral.
Harry pulled away from the grape and walked over to her. Ginny didn't look up, but Harry took her hand and pulled her into his arms. "I love you! And I don't want to lose you! I was stupid and I'm sorry too. Voldemort won't be able to use you as leverage! I missed you so much !!!" Harry whispered in her ear.
Ginny cried silent tears in the crook of Harry's neck, it took her a while to calm down. Finally she looked Harry straight in the face. "I love you too! And I never want to be separated from you again!" and then she kissed him.Hermione, Tonks and Mrs. Weasley wiped away a tear and let themselves slide into their partners' arms.
The remaining 4 Weasley brothers, however, went straight to Harry and threatened him with the worst curses that they would put on his neck if he hurt Ginny. After Harry reassured them a thousand times that he would never hurt Ginny etc. the boys let go of him.
After this amusing conversation everyone went out into the garden to have breakfast.
Although Harry somehow already suspected it, Harry was glad when Lupine sat down next to him. However, he was surprised that Tonks sat down elsewhere with Ginny. It had to be very important what Lupine wanted to discuss with him.
But Lupine and Harry ate something first, after all, neither of them had had breakfast.
"So you're teaching Professor Lupine again?" Harry finally began.
"Save the 'Professor' for class. I think we've been through enough together that it's finally time for you to call me Remus or Lupine. Ok?", answered Lupine and finished his roll.
Harry had to chuckle, "Ok, Remus. But now, what do you want to tell me so important that Ginny and Tonks have to sit somewhere else?"
Lupine, caught off guard, looked at Harry and smiled. It was only then that Harry realized that Lupine had changed. He didn't look so stressed anymore. He was no longer the Lupine who went through a terrible transformation once a month. Hermione had said he was tame now. That must really have a very positive effect on him.
"Well Harry, there are two things I need to talk to you about, but one of them won't be that enjoyable," Lupine said, pulling Harry out of his thoughts.
"Well first of all the less pleasant, so that I have something to cheer up afterwards."; Harry immediately noticed how serious Lupine had become after answering him.
Lupine seemed to think carefully about his words before answering Harry.
"It's about the individual lessons you received from Dumbledore. We will continue. We'll find and destroy the rest of the Horcruxes together. Oh, and I'll teach you some useful counterspells and curses too. "
Harry had expected a lot, but that ?! / He can't do that! /, Harry took some time to process this answer. How did Lupine know everything and, above all, what was that supposed to mean? He didn't want to put anyone in danger anymore and now Lupine wants to help him! He can't let that happen.
He was about to reply that he doesn't need any help, but when he looked into Lupine's eyes he realized that there was no point in contradicting.
Well, he tried to contain himself, but he didn't work out too well.
"How ... I mean how ... Dumbledore told me he hadn't told anyone."
"He told me a few days ago when I was in the principal's office. You know every headmaster leaves a portrait of him. He'd like to talk to you even after school started," replied Lupine and chuckled when he saw Harry's expression .Harry looked pretty puzzled, and rightly so. For 2 months he thought Dumbledore had left him forever, and part of him is still at Hogwarts.
"Ok good. And how do we want to organize the one-to-one lessons?" Harry finally said and he was happy when he realized that he was no longer stammering.
"Well, I'll explain the details to you later, I just wanted you to be able to get used to it. I have to talk to Dumbledore again beforehand. We didn't have much time that Scrimgeour had announced.", Lupine said, "And now for the happier thing. Tonks and I bought a nice house in London."
"Oh nice. Great," said Harry, still lost in thought.
"Thank you", Lupine smiled, "In any case, it is too big and the upper floor is still free, if you want you can move in there after school!"
/ I'm going to talk to Dumbledore ... what did he say right now? / Harry was quickly torn out of his train of thought. He could live with Lupine! He would have his own apartment, but would still be close to his father's best friend and godfather.
"I understand, of course, if you want to move into Sirius's house, after all, it's yours now." Lupine added, not being able to correctly interpret Harry's silence.
"What? No, I gave it to the Order of the Phoenix and that's how it stays! I would like to move in with you!" Harry said immediately and a big grin appeared on his face.
"Really? That's fantastic!", Lupine beamed.
Harry couldn't believe it, he got a new home and now he's on his way to the Ministry to take his exam. Harry was a bit nervous, but he knows he can do it. It worked with Dumbledore too.
The only thing that bothered him was the fact that he had to be near Scrimgeour. Mr. Weasley of course knew about the attempts to recruit Harry for the Ministry and so he made it so that Scrimgeour would not be there. So Harry could confidently take his exam.
They went to a nice older woman, she was smiling and didn't look angry at all. Her name was Mrs. Hutschonson. "Hello, I'm your examiner, but before we start I need some information. Name?", Mrs. Hutschonson had a very friendly voice.
"Harry James Potter," Harry replied immediately.
"Ok, where do you live?"
"I live at 10 Victoria Dock Road, London," Harry said with a smile. He had arranged it with Lupine beforehand. From then on, the address was his. Mr. Weasley seemed a little confused, but said nothing.
"Well," then began Mrs. Hutschonson, "let's get started. My colleague is waiting for you in Hogsmeade in front of the 'Three Brooms'. So, now concentrate on the 'Three Brooms' and off you go."
"Ok ... should I start now?" Harry asked a little uncertainly.
"Open as soon as you are ready."
Harry started to concentrate and it occurred to him how important it was to be able to apperate. And then he spun around and there it was again. That strange feeling in the ears. And then he had solid ground under his feet again. He had made it, he was standing right in front of the 'three brooms' and next to Mrs Hutschonson's colleagues. This beamed at him and then they apperiert back to the ministry.
Mr. Weasley beamed at him, he was delighted. After the formalities were cleared, Harry and Mr. Weasley appered back to the Burrow.
Almost everyone was sitting at the table in the Weasley's small kitchen, waiting eagerly. When Harry came through the door and not the fireplace, everyone was bright and excited.
The last week was pure stress. After all, a wedding had to be organized. Even if nobody wanted Harry to help. They thought he should rest. But Harry didn't want to hear about it.
After this week the food and tuxedos were ordered, the invitations were sent out and the band was selected.Fleur was thrilled and yet she became increasingly nervous and she didn't want to talk to anyone anymore. Except with Ginny, the two of them finally put their arguments aside.
Before the wedding, Harry appered with Lupine in Privet Drive. Lupine thought he should at least tell his relatives where he lived now.
As was to be expected, Uncle Vernon and Dudley didn't care. Aunt Petunia, on the other hand, wanted the address straight away and wanted to know if she could visit him. Lupine and Harry didn't mind, but Lupine had advised against stopping by when the moon was full. Aunt Petunia seemed a bit shocked, but she didn't show anything.
After visiting the Dursleys, they made a detour to Diagon Alley. Harry needed new Muggle clothes and they had to exchange money for them. Harry noticed that Sirius made him even more fortune than before. After he and Lupine had some amusing shopping, Harry could finally check out his new home.He was excited! It had its own bathroom, a nice living room, and a large bedroom. Only the kitchen was downstairs, but Harry didn't mind, he liked Tonks and Lupine. And even if he needs some time for himself, he can still send Kreacher.
There was only one condition, Harry wasn't allowed into the basement when the moon was full. Lupine was tame now, but Lupine doesn't know how he reacts to Harry. He might perceive him as a threat.
After this house inspection, they had decided to prepare Harry's apartment for the Christmas break.
At last it was time. Bill and Fleur's wedding was just around the corner.
The Weasley's garden was magically enlarged and looked gorgeous. Harry and Ron looked outrageously good in their tuxedos. But she looked at herself a little embarrassed. Ginny and Hermione completely outdid the boys. Hermione had straightened her hair and tied it elegantly in a bun and Ginny let her long red hair fall over her shoulders.Their clothes looked great and they looked perfect on the two girls. Harry and Ron were overwhelmed, they didn't even know what to say. "Wow!" Came from both of them at last.
Bill looked very good. The scars on his face healed very well and he didn't turn into a werewolf on a full moon either. Fleur surpassed everything, of course, she looked beautiful. Her dress had a long silver veil that Gabriel wore behind her.
Next to the altar were portraits of Dumbledore and, to Harry's surprise, of
