The planet Vegeta still exists because Freezer never appeared because it was destroyed in the southern galaxy by the inhabitants of the planet Zaijeck.
From this it follows that Goku does not know that he is a Saiyan. In spite of all that, the cyborgs and Cell were destroyed,[here son-Goku turned into a supersaiyajin for the first time]with the help of three Zaijeckians who (actually) came to earth to bring the Saiyajin living there back to the planet Vegeta .
[Gohan doesn't exist for me because Son.Goku never met Chichi (I hate Chichi) and Trunks also doesn't because Vegeta has never been to earth.
