Chapter: The indomitable forest goddess
A piercing scream escaped her. Supporting both hands on the desk, she stared into Zeniba's eyes. "You let her go! How could you let her go?"
Zeniba leaned back in the chair and shrugged his shoulders. "Why should I have kept her here! Leave the poor girl in peace."
"Poor girl?" The young woman shrieked. A vase shattered. "She messed up the whole world of gods! Even when she appeared here! She ruined everything!"
"Now calm down again!"
“No, I won't calm down!” Her breath came out in gusts. The unconscious had already fled outside the door when the argument started. "What is she actually imagining? This girl should be punished!"
“I don't know what crime you could accuse her of.” Zeniba fended off the lightning that escaped the sparkling, blue eyes of the young, inexperienced goddess with little effort.
"She messed up my entire life plan!"With a wave of the hand, as if throwing something behind her with both hands, she burned a hole in the ceiling above her.
With a stern look from Zeniba, the damage was repaired. "Curb your temper, Aimi!" A sigh escaped the old witch.
She had already noticed the unrestrained nature of the young forest goddess when she appeared in the world of the gods. She had been stubborn, but useful. Zeniba had quickly found her liking, as well as Chihiro now. The girl was simply sympathetic to her and despite the many arguments that they had already put behind them, she had taken them more and more into her heart, felt responsible towards her, like a grandmother to her granddaughter. She had learned quickly, she had been hardworking, just stubborn. She had a mind of her own and Zeniba had never even remotely thought of taking it away from her. Lower yourself to her sister's level and give her apprentice, like this one, a black worm ... Zeniba was too good for that. Now she almost wished she had.
So many mistakes ...In her there was a desire to undo things that had happened. Starting with the portion given in the bathhouse to the fact that she abused her apprentice as a spy, she would have done everything differently, because now she knew the consequences. It was clear to her that Aimi's problems, hatred and jealousy would never have arisen had she, Zeniba, not sent her to the bathhouse to work. It had been dangerous from the start, but then the only danger was that Yubaba would find out what Aimi's real activity was. However, this turned out to be the lesser of two evils. Aimi had been a docile student. Both her skills and Yubaba's greed for power and wealth, which had clouded her view, had ensured that her sister had remained blind to Aimi's activities. Instead, other problems had emerged. Problems that were almost too human to have arisen in the magical land."What about the contract?", Aimi started much calmer.
“You will have to dissolve it!” Zeniba sipped from her teacup, not taking her eyes off the goddess, whose face was now pale.
"Never," she whispered flatly, "Never!"
"Haku won't be able to keep it! It would be unfair of you ..."
Aimi laughed out loud. “Unfair? Unfair?” Tears were reflected in her eyes, but she suppressed them, even smiled.
"Aimi!", Zeniba thundered.
Aimi swallowed and looked at the floor. The words escaped her in a whisper: “And everything is only this Chihiro to blame!” Her eyes lit up.
“Aimi, what are you up to?” Zeniba's voice had a troubled undertone.
Aimi got up. She swayed slightly, staggered to the door. “I will make sure that you never see each other again!” As soon as she had uttered these words, her body grew into a plumage of feathers. Her nose stretched out. Her feet spread apart. Her legs shrank. She transformed into a huge eagle and with a loud croak she thrust through the ceiling of the house and disappeared in the direction of the bathhouse.Zeniba slumped in her chair. She swallowed. "Oh Aimi", she whispered softly, "With your hatred and your jealousy you will not only destroy the lives of the two of them, but also your own life!"
Even if she had wanted to, she couldn't stop Aimi now. The goddess had her own mind and Zeniba did not intend to take it away from her. No, sooner or later Aimi would find out for herself that the power of love was stronger than the magic of a simple forest goddess. "Benten, goddess of love, help them," she uttered a quick prayer, but with the ulterior motive of speaking the goddess personally later.

Here's a little preview of 'Impossible':
Lin rolled his eyes and began to moan: "Don't be so unfriendly now! After all, I liked Chihiro too, and I think I have a right to know how she is doing! So?"
“She is fine.” They had reached the elevator and Haku turned to Lin. "And now you'd better get back to your other occupations!"
Lin raised an eyebrow. When Haku operated the elevator lever and the door was just closing, he heard Lin say, shaking his head: "And I seriously believed Kamajii that the girl would have changed you."
Her face disappeared.
