It was just getting dark when a fox and a lynx met in a forest clearing.

The fox went on the lynx, which is very unusual in the animals. They seemed to be having a conversation. But not a single word was heard, just a few sounds that make such animals normal. And yet the animals spoke to each other in their own way.

"Have you already been able to find out anything about this disease?" Asked the lynx.

"No, unfortunately not. My efforts have not brought anything. Have you heard anything new?"

asked the fox. He looked at the sky, he saw clouds and the sunset, but not a single bird.

"Hey, didn't a hawk fly by?" The lynx suddenly asked.

Then came the scream of a hawk."Do you know anything new?" The fox called to the hawk.

"That's a nice greeting! Because I bet I found out more than you did!" The bird yelled back in its own way.

"What do you know that we don't know?"

"The danger is said to be a terrible disease. It is said to be very terrible and worse," said the hawk, and sat down on a stone. "What should we do? What can we even do?"

"You go to the secret place," ordered the fox.

"And what are you doing?" Asks the falcon.

"It's a secret" was the answer.

So the lynx and the hawk set off.

Many branches and leaves cracked and rustled under the lynx's feet because the forest they were walking through was dry as dust. It would probably soon turn into a rocky landscape.

"What is this? We're going, well, I'm going, you've been flying through this forest for so long.

The last time I went here it wasn't that long, was it ...?"remarked the lynx, whose feet were hurting for some reason.
