Chapter: Chapter 1

How should I address you ...?

Anime: Digimon Frontier
Title: How should I address you ...?
Pairing: Koji X Koichi

Comment: ääähm xD This is my absolutely first FF with both of them and I hope that I brought them both reasonably convincingly ^^;
And sorry for the weird summary xDD
Before I forget it oO
In my story here all Charas are 15 !! ^ - ^

The whole thing takes place at the time when Koji and Koichi first met. Koichi seems to be afraid of Koji, but of course Koji doesn't stop there. Suddenly it is as if everything has turned around ...
Will the two of them come together? ôo

Disclaimer: Koji & Koichi do not belong to me and neither do the others xD Unfortunately ...

- How am I supposed to behave? -
Koichi rested his head on his hands and looked at the floor.
Since Koji had scanned his data, the two hadn't spoken to each other and that made Koichi kind of nervous.- He doesn't want to talk to me, or is he just waiting for me to speak to him? -
Plagued by deep doubts, he looked up. Everything was dark outside. The lights were only on in the house opposite. Probably Koji had withdrawn there.
- I wonder what he's thinking -
Koichi got up and was about to get out of the Trailmon when he heard someone behind him.
Confused, he turned around.
Koji stood behind him and gave him a thoughtful look.
His eyes flashed and Koichi held his breath in shock and didn't know where to look.
"Hello," Koji muttered and raised an eyebrow, "am I not worthy of your eyes?"
Koichi looked at him quickly and shook his head.
"No-a", he stuttered and tried desperately to look past him, but Koji came a step closer and his otherwise serious expression disappeared for a moment.
"You're not afraid of me, are you?" He asked, amused, and then sat down."What? Um ... no," Koichi shook his head and then looked directly at him for the first time.
"Then come here," Koji pointed to the seat next to him, "I'd like to talk to you a little bit."
Koichi nodded hesitantly and then fell onto the seat next to his brother. It was hard to hide that his heart was racing and that he wanted to run away.
After all, he had fought his brother for so long.
He wanted and couldn't understand why he was so nice to him. Others probably wouldn't even look at him.
So why did Koji want to talk to him?
Thoughtfully, he looked to the side.
Koji had watched him the whole time with a smile and waited for Koichi to calm down a little.
- He says he's not scared, and I can almost feel the seat wobble. -
Smiling, Koji was silent for a moment, but when he noticed that Koichi only looked at him more uncertainly, he cleared his throat briefly."Are you all right?"
"Um ... what?", Koichi looked at him confused.
He had expected everything, but not a question like that.
"I wanted to know how you are," Koji repeated patiently.
"Good ... and you?", Koichi replied quietly.
"Well," Koji began and smiled at his brother, "you're there, how should I be?"
Koichi's eyes widened a bit then looked to the side. His stomach had tightened a little. It was probably not Koji's intention, but it hurt.
He got up quickly and was about to go into the next compartment when he felt a hand on his wrist.
"Koichi", Koji had got up and was now standing directly in front of his brother.
- He's trembling -
Koichi turned to him.
"Yes?" He mumbled softly and looked past his brother again.
Koji was slowly getting tired of this constant staring to the side and so he put his hand under his brother's chin without further ado, forcing him to look up at him.
Koichi was shocked when he realized that, contrary to his beliefs, his brother was not as tall as he, but almost a touch smaller."Did I say the wrong thing?", Koji wanted to know and looked at him.
Koji's eyes glittered and were still looking for Koichi's gaze, but it kept avoiding him, even if his chin was still being forced up.
"No," Koichi looked at him.
"That's why you wanted to go away all of a sudden," Koji sighed and let go of Koichi, but only to push him onto the bench of the Trailmon the next moment and kneel in front of him, "we are brothers. Why are you afraid of me ? "
Koichi had turned a little pale and looked at his brother swallowed. He knelt in front of him and looked at him almost sadly with his blue eyes.
"I ... don't be afraid," Koichi contradicted.
Koji nodded slightly.
"Yes, I can see it," he mumbled sadly and stood up, "if you want to talk, I'll be there for you."
Winking, he left the compartment and climbed outside. Once there, he let himself sink to the floor against the wall. Sighing, he closed his eyes.
How could he convince Koichi that he was neither angry nor that he hated or loathed him?- If only he knew -
Koji almost grinned crookedly when the thought crossed his mind.
- If he knew how I feel about him, he would surely detest and hate me -
"Koji?"
Confused, the addressee looked up and recognized Takuya. This came up to him and then stopped in front of him.
"Hi," Koji muttered and looked up.
"Didn't go well, did it?" Asked the brown-haired man with a sigh.
Koji shook his head and then got up.
"He's scared of me, I ...", Koji broke off and looked for words, "he thinks I hate him."
"Then maybe you should convince him of the opposite?", Takuya said and grinned crookedly.
"How?", Koji snapped at him, "He can't even look me in the eye. What do you think he does when I yell at him?"
- He would probably kill himself -
He hated his inner voice for reports like that.
"You shouldn't yell at him," waved Takuya, "come on. I know that you like him a lot, and I mean really, really."Takuya winked at the black-haired one, whose complexion was now competing with a fire extinguisher and he was about to drive up when the Trailmon whistled and she asked to get back in, since it had rested enough and could now bring her to the star of roses.
So Koji and Takuya just left it at that and got back in.

"Go on," Takuya nudged Koji in the side.
"I ... don't know," Koji sighed, "what if I startle him like I did before? I don't want to scare him again."
However, Takuya could not be fobbed off with this answer and pushed him forward so that he stumbled and now stood in front of JP.
"Takuya is right," grinned the elderly, "you go to him now and don't come back first, understand?"
Koji was about to start when the Trailmon suddenly braked and pulled Koji off his legs.
With a thud, it landed at Koichi's feet. He widened his eyes in shock and looked at his brother."Everything ... okay?" He asked hesitantly and worried at the same time.
"Yeah," Koji growled and struggled to get up, "but I'm about to dig up and hit this trailmon like that-"
He got no further, because another and much more violent jerk made him fall over again and Koichi fell over and landed on his brother.
"Sorry," he squeaked and wanted to get up, but Koji held him.
"Wait a minute," he muttered, climbing up to look out the window.
The Trailmon had overturned and was lying on the tracks.
Kerubimon stood in front of him and grinned nastily.
Takuya and the others had climbed out of the wagons.
"Hey! Koji! Koichi! Are you okay?", Takuya called as Koji jumped out of the window and looked at Koichi, who followed him.
Koji nodded and looked at his brother.
"You too?" He asked gently.
Koichi nodded in surprise and looked at Kerubimon with a mixture of hatred and suspicion.
"Please, stay here and hide," Koji looked at him seriously, "I don't want anything to happen to you."Before Koichi could say anything else, Koji had already started running and digitized just like the others.
Agunimon started the attack on the angel, but he soon had to realize that this opponent was a bit superior to him, because he was thrown back and slammed to the ground.
"Ouch," he grumbled and turned back into Takuya, "I think I should get used to Aldamon."
Lobomon had gained this knowledge earlier and had now digested into Beowolfmon. He attacked Kerubimon together with Beetlemon, but that didn't help either.
Kerubimon laughed and looked at Koichi.
"How could you lose to something like that? I can't believe that you, of all people, had the spirits of darkness."
Koichi gritted his teeth and took a step forward, but then remembered Koji's request and backed away again.
Kerubimon seemed amused, but then she lifted one of her mighty paws and shouted, "Last judgment!"
Dark red and black lightning flashed over them and hit Beetlemon, Aldamon, Kazemon, Kumamon and they also flew towards Beowolfmon and Koichi, but Beowolfmon managed to throw himself protectively in front of his brother."Koji," Koichi mumbled and saw the Digimon twist its mouth above him and then tip over to the side.
Immediately, as with the others, the digitation disappeared and Koji was now lying next to him. Startled, Koichi turned his brother onto his back and looked at him.
"Koji", he shook it lightly, "hey!"
Koji grimaced and then smiled at him.
"Are you okay?" He asked softly.
Koichi nodded and felt himself getting hot.
- Why did you do that? -
Kerubimon's laughter tore him from his thoughts. Angry, he got up and ran towards the angel.
"KOICHI !!" Koji struggled to get up, "Stay here!"
Koichi turned to him briefly and smiled just as gently as Koji always did.
"You really seem to want to die," said Kerubimon, amused.
Koichi looked at her angrily.
"You beast," he yelled at her, "how could you make me want to attack my own brother?"
“You wanted it yourself,” Kerubimon waved off, “so don't get upset.Besides, you won't live long with this knowledge. "
She held out her paw to him, but Koichi didn't move.
"Damn it, move!" Koji yelled.
- Not Koichi, please run away! -
