Naraku had managed to complete the jewel for which he went over corpses, they had survived difficult times, but now Naraku was on the ground, but he had still had enough strength to inflict another deep wound in Inuyasha ...
Naraku's body dissolved, only the jewel of the four souls remained of him, but Inuyasha soon fell beside it and began to breathe difficultly ...
Kagome, who had only reached the battlefield at the last moment, immediately ran to the hanyou to check on his wounds and to be able to treat them as quickly as possible ...
"Kagome ..." Inuyasha started nagging ...
But she just kept shaking her head and begging Inuyasha to spare his voice. But he didn't listen to her, she had known his stubborn head for a long time, but this time she was the least able to understand him ...He got up and leaned on Kagome's shoulder, he seemed to be trembling, was that because he might not be able to survive the night?
If he turned into a human that night, he wouldn't survive with SUCH wounds, as a half-demon these wounds were already dangerous, both knew this, but unlike Inuyasha, Kagome still believed in a cure ... in in their world he would be able to be saved, if he was human, this was not a problem ...
She hesitated to inform him of her idea, but he seemed to have no more hope. He agreed, but only for one reason, he wanted to go to the well ...

After a short march the goal was reached, the fountain that connected both worlds, that connected them both ...
Kagome was in a hurry, leaning far forward to make it easier for him to get into the well. She noticed that he was not willing to jump into the well ... she already suspected what he was up to, but before she could in any way escape the danger zone, he had already given her the blow and she into the Well encountered ...
Kagome tried to grab one of the hanyou's sleeves, but missed it and fell unchecked into the well, into which she had disappeared seconds later ...
Inuyasha knew what he had achieved with it, but he believed in the rightness of what he had done and dragged himself back to the battlefield where the jewel still lay ...

He reached for the jewel and saw the sun slowly disappearing behind the treetops ...
He closed his eyes when he noticed how the pain bothered him more, at least Kagome didn't have to see it ... that was the only consolation that remained ...
What he didn't see, however, was the jewel losing its black sheen and lightening ...
