"Let's go," she whispered to Miyako. Then she looked up at the sky, closed her eyes and concentrated. Miyako did the same.

After only a few seconds, the two changed. Her fingers receded and turned into paws.Their ears became bigger, a snout formed and instead of their fur they now protected their own fur, which was sprouting from the skin, from the weather conditions of nature.

In the end, where the two siblings had just stood, there were two wolves who differed fundamentally in two things: One wolf, Miyako, had brown fur and was a little smaller than Amaya. In contrast to her sister, as in contrast to all others, she had white fur. Amaya looked back one more time and then sprinted down the slope into the forest with Miyako. Time was of the essence, although they didn't know why.
When the two of them disappeared into the foothills of the forest and ran as fast as if their lives were at stake, the howls of the pack echoed loudly and sadly over the land for their lead wolf and her daughters, who set out for foreign climes ...
