Fanfic: Das Drachenreich
Subtitle: 1. Teil: Die Gefahr
Chapter: prolog
There is a reason why I am reporting on these heroes. I've seen them all for myself and I think it's time to finally put their story on a sheet of parchment. There may be a few more, because their journey through the 13th Kingdom was very long. I haven't traveled that far in this country myself, even when I was younger. Starting from Caen Aigion, the golden city of King Etenor, they roamed almost the entire kingdom and made acquaintance with the elves and dwarves and finally met me ...
They told me about their entire trip and their mission ...
My bones ached even more when I learned of the terrible fate of the dragons. You are lucky not to feel such pain in your back yet, you youngsters !!! If you've just worked your whole life and taken on some kind of adventure, you first learn to live properly. I've had a difficult life, but you young people don't understand it yet ...Once again I digress, that comes with old age: one deals more and more with little things and forgets the essential, the important things. I hope this fact won't make reading too difficult for you.
Now actually I wanted to write about the 4 heroes who not only saved the dragons, but the whole world ...
How foolish of me ... as always, I forget the two most important people in this story. Some may refer to them as "animals", but they were by no means. Their presence was of the utmost relevance in the fight against evil. But see for yourself. See the incredible story.
But before I start, I have to say that I originally wanted to write this book in the ancient language of the dragons, because it is one of the most beautiful languages in the world, its words literally flow and you don't need a particularly great linguistic skill to learn it . Their simplicity in grammar and their large treasure trove of words are impressive, but when I looked around the cities of the people, I thought better of it.I noticed that most of the people in this country don't speak this beautiful language (which is actually a shame). So I have now decided to write this report in colloquial language that everyone understands, but which will never reach the beauty of dragon language. In order to facilitate the understanding for the general public even more, I will translate the sayings of the dragons, partly also into human language.
Any elf's heart would break at the thought, but what else can I do? In the old days all people knew the dragon language, but times are changing. The creatures of this world have moved further and further apart.
Out of respect for our great and wise friends the dragons, I will translate this book into their language again and maybe encourage a few people to finally talk to the dragons in the dragon language again. A delicate undertaking, but maybe I have encouraged you, my readers, to finally learn this wonderful language.I will probably be busy writing stories until the end of my life ... Oh, old age is bothering you. If I were in the eleven I could report on so many things for centuries, but unfortunately I don't have the life span of the beautiful people.
So now I've moaned enough that if I don't start reporting on these heroes quickly, I'll still die here at my desk.
Now finally read the story !!!
Who I am? That is not important. Maybe you can find me in the story if you read it, but this is not about me, is it? I am just a nothing in this world, a useless old man, with a sore back and an almost impossible task ... a Sisyphus job ...
Well ... my storytelling skills may not be very good because I'm not a bard, but I'm not a farmer either!
If you heard my name, you'd forget it anyway."Bene quod agas, eveniat tibi!"
tibi! "
