Harry kept turning backwards, wand ready to hand the whole time, but there was nothing. What was going on here? Harry was getting more and more restless and felt that he was in danger. His steps quickened as he ran down a narrow path back to the castle and he heard the loud crack of breaking branches behind him.Number of chapters:

Chapter 1
Harry walked slowly to his favorite spot by the lake. Sighing, he sat down against a thick trunk of an oak tree. He looked up at the sky and blinked at the midday son that warmed his face.
Harry closed his eyes and enjoyed the free lunch. School had become quite stressful now that he was about to do his senior year. Harry was once glad to be able to have his peace and quiet. Since Ron and Hermione were together, Harry had more free time anyway and so he often hung around in the west tower, where he could always be undisturbed in his thoughts.
Harry startled. A faint crack in the bushes could be heard behind him and the boy turned around in a flash. He had the feeling that a dark structure had just disappeared into the bushes in order not to be seen. Worried, Harry reached for his wand in his pocket, ready to attack, but nothing happened.>> Maybe some animal again.
