Thick veils of mist moved through the land.
Rain was looming, thick dark clouds darkened the brilliant white moon in the starry sky.
Eerie figures now wandered about in the thick woods.
Demons. Some were human-like in appearance, while others hung like monsters.
But one thing was certain. They were always cruel and dangerous, no matter in what form they appeared.
People felt it every day. Most of their complaints and calls for help echoed across the country.
As already mentioned, the demons proceeded cruelly. Most of the time they attacked villages because they enjoyed it. They enjoyed destroying people's houses, they were pleased when people died in agony, they were delighted to turn everything to rubble and ashes.

Yes, so were these demons in the Sengoku Jidai. But not only demons make it difficult for people at this time, their kind were no better either. The country went through heavy wars.
Usually mercenaries and bandits also roamed the country and attacked villages.
During this time, you could only rely on three types of people.
Houshi, Miko and Taijii.
These three types of people have chosen to help the poor and the weak. Sometimes however…. some charge money for it.

It began to rain. A slight thunder could be heard and was probably an indication that it would storm today. Hopping back and forth, a little kitsune stood in front of a Miko shrine and looked a little anxiously up the smaller hill.
His turquoise eyes fixed a young Miko, maybe just 16 years old.
The little curly tail began to shake excitedly when the little kitsune suddenly got a drop.
"Help! The end of the world is coming!" he shouted suddenly and unexpectedly in a squeaky voice.
The kitsune looked uncertainly at the darkened sky and then back at the miko. The Miko stood calmly in front of a grave. Her eyes were sadly fixed on it. Slowly she ran her finger over the writing on the tombstone. ° Kaede-obaa-chan ° Her sad voice echoed in her thoughts.
Suddenly the Miko felt that it was slowly starting to rain. She quickly left the grave and went down the small stairs to the Miko shrine.
"Hurry up!" the little Kitsune begged and ran quickly into the shrine when it suddenly thundered loudly.
"You are a rabbit Shippou-chan." Said the Miko then and wire the shrine.
"Not true at all!" Shippou said persistently. Suddenly it thundered again and the little kitsune jumped into the arms of the miko with a cry of fear.
A sigh came from her lips and she closed the door.
"Come on, let's go to sleep, Shippou-chan." The Miko asks the kitsune and rolled out her straw mat.
"Shark!" he then said and snuggles up to the sleeping woman.
It didn't take long and by then he was already asleep.A lot had happened that day. Absently, the black-haired girl stroked Shippou's auburn hair. The rain pelted the roof.
"I failed ... please forgive me Kaede-obaa-chan." Young Miko whispered sadly and closed her eyes. Shortly afterwards she fell asleep too.

A noise caused the Miko to open her eyes.
It had stopped raining. How long did she sleep? She didn't know and she didn't care at the moment, because she felt an unknown aura.
She got up carefully so as not to wake the still sleeping Shippou.
Immediately she ran to her gun. Bow and arrow. They always did a good job and now they will ... who knows who this strange aura is coming from?
Quietly she left the shrine and closed the door. Once outside, a fresh wind blew into her nose.
The many puddles in the area reflected the clear moon. The girl officiated slowly on and off. The aura. Where did the aura come from?
Startled, the Miko widened her eyes and turned to the tomb.
"Soul catcher?" she whispered in disbelief when she saw them floating through the air.
The girl quickly cocked an arrow and ran up the stairs. First
once it had to be clarified who it is. Because this aura does not come from the soul catcher.
In fact, someone was standing there. It was a woman.
Also a miko. The soul catchers circle around them. Her skin was pale and her eyes lifeless…. was she ... death? In any case, she was looking at the tombstone in front of which she was only a few hours ago.
Still undecided about when it was a question, the girl began to ask the stranger.
"Who are you? What presume to stand in front of the grave of the venerable Kaede-sama?"
Slowly the addressed turned around and looked at her.
"Why did she die?"
Was that to be believed? The stranger actually asked her questions."Is none of your business!" the girl interjected gruffly.
The stranger smiled sadly and then looked deep into the girl's eyes.
"What are you doing here anyway? You should be somewhere else ..."
The girl raised an eyebrow in surprise. Who the hell is this miko?
"Who are you?" asked the girl again. The arrow still taut and pointed at the stranger.
"Kikyo ..." whispered the Miko and turned away from her.
Without turning around, she spoke to the other Miko again.
"You shouldn't stay in this place ..." With that she started moving and disappeared into the nearby forest.
"Kikyo?" the girl whispered in surprise. Suddenly she heard Shippou's calls. A little later he was standing next to her.
"Why did you get up?" asked he.
“I couldn't sleep…” the girl replied, lowering her bow.
Little Shippou looked at the girl in amazement.
"Really Rin?"
She nodded in response.Yes a cliffhanger -.-
but it should stay exciting or ??? ^^
