Kaito Kid had just delivered the children and the two caregivers to Inspector Megure when he turned and looked in the direction of the building.
"You made it!" Shinichi whispered to him, relieved.
"Yes! Already!" he replied just as quietly. "But she's still in there. Alone with this crazy man!" He was about to run back to the kindergarten when they noticed the Thieving Magpie on the roof of the building, heard her throw her belt up in the air and then from her Blast from the explosion.

Nakamori felt his arms, legs, and back. "As far as I can tell, she didn't take much. I don't think she has to lie there." He looked at the Kaito Kid. "I suppose you know who she is and where she lives!"
He didn't answer. He didn't trust the inspector and that wasn't a miracle either.
