"That was a joke ... I just had to leave something here and then I saw you coming."
Sakura was relieved. So he hadn't run after her like a dog again.
"Should I drive you home?", Sasuke asked and was about to grab her hand to pull her to his car, but she refused. "No, thanks," she said curtly and wanted to start running again, but Sasuke held her back again. "I'll just drive you home ... And I won't do anything stupid, I promise. I won't ask you questions or anything ... I'll just drive you home," he said truthfully and looked briefly at the sky, "it seems to be starting to get stronger again rain."
Finally, Sakura relented, followed him to his car and got in on the passenger side. At first the two didn't talk until Sasuke broke the silence. "Hey, I met Shikamaru yesterday and I'm supposed to say goodbye to you.""Oh, thanks. How is he doing?" Shikamaru was a good friend of Sasuke's. Sakura liked him and just now she noticed that since she broke up with Sasuke she hadn’t seen him, let alone thought of him.
"Well ... apart from the fact that he has to walk around disguised as an ice cream cone this summer and that annoys him a lot because Temari will avoid him ... well," Sasuke grinned.
Sakura laughed. “The poor one.” She looked over at Sasuke and again she noticed how good he looked. When he saw her look, she quickly looked away. Suddenly she felt guilty. She thought of Gaara. As soon as she got home she would call him ... She wondered what he was doing. Both were silent for the rest of the journey.



Sasuke let her get out at the roadside and without saying goodbye Sakura ran to the front door, where, to her surprise, Ino was standing and waiting for her. She wore white shorts and a skimpy light blue top."Were you with Sai?", Sakura asked with a grin. Ino blushed but didn't answer. "I would be more interested in who brought you home", Ino asked curiously.
"Sasuke," sighed Sakura, "and now let's change the subject immediately." Sakura unlocked the front door and the two girls went into the living room where it was pleasantly fresh.
"Okay, another topic: How was your work with Mrs. Uchiha today?" Ino asked while she sat down on the sofa. Sakura sat down with her. "I find them stranger and stranger."
"Okay ... another change of subject ...", Ino sighed, "I ran into Gaara earlier, he told me that you wandered around in your sleep again."
Sakura just nodded silently. "Wow. You're really talkative," Ino said sarcastically.
It was probably because Sakura was still thinking about Sasuke. About the fact that she'd suddenly felt so drawn to him in the car.
It took a while for the two friends to manage something like a conversation."Oh, before I forget. There was a man here earlier who wanted to see you. He was quite tall, very tall, and had big muscles and a huge neck ..." Ino said suddenly.
Sakura's eyes widened. The guy from yesterday !! "U-And what did he want?", Sakura asked a little horrified. "Didn't he say ... He just wanted to speak to you and said he had your address from Mrs. Uchiha", Ino replied and leaned back on the sofa. "Why does she just give me my address like that!", Said Sakura upset. Ino looked at her amazed, then Sakura told her friend about her first encounter with this guy.
Ino was not entirely sure either and again she tried to change the subject. "Why are you wandering around in your sleep?"
"I don't know myself ..." Sakura said dejectedly.
And already Ino began to tell about a film where a woman was also sleepwalking because she wanted to kill a guy and did not dare to do it while awake and thus killed him asleep and then could not be sued."Ino, stop now!", Sakura grumbled.
"You definitely want to kill someone too ..." Ino said thoughtfully.
"Yes, of course. You." Sakura lunged at Ino and pretended to want to kill her friend.
"Do you have a better theory for your sleepwalking?"
Suddenly the thought occurred to Sakura. "Yes. Mrs. Uchiha is a witch and she put a curse on me for wandering around in my sleep every night."
Donna laughed and Sakura joined her laugh.
But at the same time she saw the picture of the old woman, who sat bolt upright and with closed eyes on the bed and was as if in a trance. And the black candle ... its pearls right next to the candle that had burned down ... and because Yumi said a witch needs a personal item to be able to curse someone ...
Deep down she knew: her theory was correct!
