"Hello?" I called.
It was black. I was completely disoriented. What happened? First I opened my eyes. There were trees around me. Many trees. A forest! I could hear dozens of birds chirping.
I rummaged around in my memory. What happened? Exactly, I had flown. Over the treetops. I could fly Of course, after all, I was a dragon. I always have been. I just overlooked a big tree and crashed.

I looked down at myself. My body was that of a dragon. So, I thought, my memory of flying over the treetops would probably be correct. I was careful not to crack a single branch. In fact, I made next to no noise.
I soon discovered a deer. He hadn't noticed me yet. I crept closer. When I was close enough, I rushed forward and grabbed him in my claws. The deer screamed, but I quickly bit his throat. Finally I wouldn't have to be hungry anymore.

There were only a few bones left of the deer. I had strengthened myself well and now wanted to fly back to my cave. But then I heard voices. It was people! You had to be careful of them. I had never met any, but dragon slayers had gotten my father back then. Or? Wasn't I human too?

Suddenly a heavy net landed on me. I wanted to tear it down, but people had already anchored it in the ground. I couldn't get away. You had me.
A man emerged from the crowd. He seemed to be their leader.
"A great specimen," he said, "a really good catch."
"Set me free!" I demanded.
"No, we won't. You are far too beautiful for the wilderness. With that shiny, pitch-black armor that not even the sharpest lance can break through. Your glowing yellow eyes that see everything. People took a strange substance out of a bag. They held her far away and brought her to me. It looked like flour, but it gave off a strange smell. The net held me tight and eventually I got tired. That must have been the fumes. I fell asleep.
