"Kagomeee, wait!"
The little fox demon Shippou ran after the black-haired girl, who ran furiously towards the bone-eater fountain. He tried doggedly to keep up with her, but passed, she was too fast for him. They carried both of their long ones further than his short ones.
Kagome stomped on furiously. // That damn idiot! // she thought angrily. The girl had just seen how the Hanyou Inuyasha, with whom she had been in love for some time, had met with her.
With Kikyou.
Just thinking about the scene you just saw made her stomach constrict.
The two were in each other's arms.
Then they kissed.
// What is he doing ?! //
Inu had promised her to stay away from Kikyou. Yes, Kagome had accused him of that when they had argued this time, but what had he just said?He would have forgotten.
//Sure, of course! Forget it! //, thought Kagome and stopped for a moment to stamp his foot angrily. Shippou winced, startled.
"K-Kagome ..." he said, intimidated.
Now the girl from modern times seemed to have noticed her pursuer after all. She turned around and picked up Shippou. The little demon boy was close to tears. "Don't go ..." he sniffed.
"Shippou I ... I just have to study for my exams. You don't have to cry.", She tried to calm him down. But he just shook his head. "Don't pretend, Kago. I know you fought again. I don't want you to go!"
Caught up, Kagome looked down. "But Shippou, don't worry. I might be back soon." - "Soon it will take too long!"
A long sigh came from the black-haired woman. Then she hugged Shippou and whispered, "All right, I'll try to stay here."
As if on command, Shippou beamed again."Are you serious?" He asked excitedly. Kagome nodded sweetly. "Yes of course."
"Great, Kagome stays!", Schippou exclaimed happily. Then he said expectantly to the older one: "Let's go back quickly!"
Kagome just nodded, then headed back to her friends with Shippou in her arms. She didn't know how to face Inuyasha. // He can experience something ... //, she thought vengefully.
Suddenly, Kagome and Shippou were caught in a strong, ice-cold gust of wind. Kagome gave a startled cry and hugged Shippou tightly to protect him. Then the wind knocked her to the ground.
It was so cold that Kagome thought a thousand needles would pierce her body. She was shaking with Shippou on the floor for a few seconds. When the wind passed she sat up slowly and frightened. Shippou clung to her in fear. "What was that ...?" He mumbled softly in a shaky voice. "I do not know."was the short answer from the Kagome. She got up and put Shippou down on the floor. Confused and questioning, she looked in the direction from which the wind had come.
The north ... was something going on there?
She was torn from her thoughts by the clatter of feet. “Kagome!” Jamand called her name. Soon the rest of the group will appear. Sango, Kagome's best friend, walked up to her immediately and asked worriedly, “Are you and Shippou okay?” She just nodded slightly.
"Yes." Then she looked at Miroku, the monk who now joined Sango. "Did you feel the gust of wind too?" Asked Kagome.
Miroku nodded thoughtfully.
"Yes, we did. It was definitely not normal wind."
"Do you think it was Kagura !?" Kagome asked angrily. "Is that what she was ?!"
"No.", a wrinkled Inuyasha spoke up. He didn't look Kagome in the eye. "I would have smelled them. The bestial smell of Naraku - how could I miss it ?!", he growled, daring to look slowly into Kagome's face.
Kagome stared at him. "You were busy," she hissed sneeringly. Inuyasha only looked down again, ashamed. Miroku and Sango exchanged meaningful looks. They already suspected that there must have been another argument.
Kagome, however, quickly wiggled the subject. "Anyway ...", she began, "... I think the wind came from there." She pointed to the north.
Sango frowned. "Are you sure about that? Such a cold wind?" Kagome nodded in confirmation. "Yes, I am quite sure."
"Hmm ...", Miroku emphasized and thoughtfully rubbed his chin. "That's really strange. I always thought the north was known for its sunny places. Why should such a cold wind ...?"
"Shouldn't we even take a closer look at this?" Asked Kagome, cocking his head.
"No way!", Inu interfered loudly. "What about the jewel shards ?!"
"First you make out with Kikyou and now everyone should dance to your tune !?Maybe we'll find some there, you idiot! "Kagome yelled back.
"Ah, as if! You stupid goose only want to lead us there because it piqued your interest. We won't find anything there!"
"How do you want to know that please ?!"
"Counter question: How do you know that we can find something there ?!"
"I don't know, but I suspect it!"
"Guesses don't get us where we want to go! Especially not yours!"
"Inuyasha!"
"What...?"
"Make way!
