Chapter: I `m ill?

"Robin, can I talk to you?"

The addressed turned around in astonishment. Up until now she had watched the starry sky reflected in the water through her porthole. Surprised, she looked at Nami, who looked slightly nervous and was standing in her doorway.

"Come in first. What's going on?"

The navigator chewed her lower lip nervously and collapsed onto the bed of the black-haired archaeologist.

"What would you do if you fell in love with a member of the crew?"

Nami had expected Robin to laugh at this stupid question, but the older one just gave her a friendly smile.

"A member of the crew, huh? Can you find out who the lucky one is?"

"Well ... Luffy ..."

The navigator's voice was less than a whisper, a breath of wind perhaps. Immediately her cheeks turned pink.

Robin grinned. That was exactly what she had thought. But it was immediately clear to her that there were problems. Luffy was and remained a child's head who probably had nothing to do with love and the like. The two women sighed.

"And what should I do now, Robin?"

"I'm overwhelmed by that at the moment. Let's sleep about it for a night and think about it. We can continue talking tomorrow, okay?"

~

Luffy sat on the figurehead's head and looked at the horizon. Somewhere there was the place where all her wishes would come true, he was sure of that.

"Can't you idiots even be peaceful?"

Luffy turned around, grinning. He knew what had happened for a long time. Zorro, his forever sleeping, grouchy vice and Sanji, the eccentric cook and chain smoker. The two had quarreled again - as always - which soon ended in a fight.

Chopper, the terrible ship's doctor, and Usopp, the fearful baron of lies, had long since gotten to safety - that is, they had run away again when the fight started. Luffy grinned. His gaze wandered to Robin, the silent archaeologist, who was still completely relaxed on her couch in the middle of the sun, reading a book.Like Zorro, she was always calm, no matter what storm swept over the deck of the Flying Lamb.

Right now that storm was Nami, the last member of Luffy's small surrogate family and crew. Nami, the quick-tempered navigator, Nami, who made sure that Sanji and Zorro didn't cut each other's heads, Nami, who always had an overview.

Luffy sighed. He didn't know exactly since when it was like this, but for some time now he has not been able to take his eyes off the beautiful and graceful figure of Nami so easily. Most of all he wanted to hear her voice all day long, because then he had this pleasant but strange tingling feeling in his stomach. At first he thought it was hungry, but it wasn't. And slowly it was driving him crazy!

Most of them had moved back below deck, only Nico Robin hadn't moved an inch and Zorro was also lying motionless in the shade, leaning against the mast and sleeping.

Could Zorro tell him how strange it was?Luffy padded slowly towards his best friend.

“What is it?” Zorro blinked up at him. “I need your help!” Luffy dropped down next to the older man. He sighed. "So what's going on?"

! I would like to know that right now ... you know, it's like this ... It's about Nami. I just can't get it out of my head! Whenever I don't see her, I think about what she's doing and when I see her, it all tingles so weird ... Zorro, am I sick? "

Zorro grinned broadly and had to suppress the laugh. His captain surprised him again and again with his childlike naivete. Ill?

"I don't know much about illnesses, you have to ask a doctor like Chopper. But you're not sick, kid. I know what's the matter with you."

"Really?"

"Would you like to have Nami always with you so that the strange tingling is always there? Do you want to hear her voice as often as possible because it sounds so wonderful in your ears? Do you just want to look at her and never forget it?Do you want to protect them, no matter what comes and what price you have to pay? "

"Yes, but ... how do you know that? What kind of disease is that now?"

"Oh man Luffy, this is not a disease, I already told you that, right? You are just in love with Nami!"

Zorro grinned and slowly got up. The sun was burning and the heat drove everyone below deck, wherever he wanted to go.

Luffy retreated back to the figurehead. First he had to understand what his vice had told him. In love? He? In Nami?

Robin smiled quietly to himself. Apparently Luffy had forgotten that she was still there. She hadn't been able to read in the last few minutes, the conversation between the two pirates had been far too interesting.
She thought back to her conversation with Nami last night when Nami wanted her advice.
She glanced at Luffy. The game could begin ...
