The girl was lying on her bed, despite the heat that prevailed outside, she had put the pillow over her head, pressed it firmly on him. Her radio was next to her bed, and Linkin Park's music came to her ears, not too loud so that she didn't get even more trouble, but so loud that she only had to hear some of the voices.
She just didn't feel like it anymore ... Her eyes burned, which she screwed tightly together to keep from crying. Why, was everything so damn ... unfair? Although ... it wasn't that unfair to her ... but at some point it had to be enough! The tears, which she tried so hard to hold back, got the upper hand and ran from her eyes. But she was crying softly ... while her mother and sister were yelling at each other, complaining about them ... As always, in the evening when they came home ... she couldn't please the two of them anyway ... like she did but hated! At about the same time, a black-haired girl was also sitting in bed with her arms around her legs. She sobbed almost inaudibly and the tears ran down her face. Why, she wondered, why were they hated so much? Today, too, she had to listen to wild insults without being at fault. She was called stupid, fat, ugly and incompetent. She had been portrayed as someone who could do nothing but do everything wrong and was punished for it. Why? She wondered again.
Slowly the girl lay on her side, turned her face to the bare, white wall and pulled the covers up to her chin. Then she tried to fall asleep, because only there, in her sleep, did she find rest.
Everything seemed to shrink to an indefinite size. Looking at the walls, which were getting narrower and tighter, she sat on the carpet in the cold garage and stared at the ceiling. She knew that she had caused the argument that raged in the house and that there would be trouble again, since she was always to blame for the stressful relationship between her parents. She had gotten used to it, it had become a routine. Her smooth, chocolate-brown hair fell over her shoulder easily and like clouds. Even if she looked happy, her eyes gave away: you could read sadness and fear in them ...
Her cheek still burned from the blow, her eyes were glassy, but the tears dried up. In the mirror of the dark blonde girl's soul, you could see exactly this emptiness, lifeless and callous, she stared into the darkness of the room.
The cool air streamed through the open window, and her cell phone clock showed almost midnight.
She was used to being beaten, but the emotional pain was unbearable.
She closed her eyes again, hoping it would get better when her state inadvertently turned from awake to asleep.

When she opened her eyes again, she found herself in a meadow. A forest began a few meters in front of her, but otherwise all she saw was the green grass. She looked around in amazement. She had often found herself in such situations in dreams. She was still wondering where she had ended up again when the dark blonde heard her name called behind her and turned to her now familiar voice.
"Hey, Nini!" Called the arriving girl. Smiling, she stopped in front of her friend, who smiled back. “Hey Moni.” They sank down on the meadow. At that moment they heard quick steps behind them and when they turned around they saw another girl, the third in the group. "Hey!", She called happily to both of them and smiled. She sat down with them. "And how was your day?" Asked the one who had just arrived, Vröni. "As always," was the short answer from the others. “Me too.” Each of the three knew what must have happened to the other. They had no secrets from each other, told each other everything, including their problems. A somewhat depressing mood had spread when the three of them began to smile."Let's not mop up here, let's explore the area a bit. There is certainly a lot to discover here." And Moni didn't even know how right she was.
"If you think so!" Vröni twitched and jumped lightly from the tree on which she was sitting. The other two had already sat up in front of her and were already walking towards the forest. Every time the foot touched the ground, the grass gave way and left traces. After a few minutes, Moni fell into the grass, relieved. "It's just so soft! And it exudes so much warmth and security.
Laughing, Nini and Vröni also fell into the grass. "Where are we here anyway?", Nini wanted to know immediately. "Hmm ...", Vröni grumbled and looked around. It was surrounded by a thicket of green and brown. You were in a forest!
Suddenly little lights flew around them and stopped in front of them. With a soft bang, these turned into nothing but elves.
The three stared in disbelief at what had just happened ...The blonde of the three critically examined the creatures in front of her who were happily floating around.
"Aha ... elves ... we ended up with elves. Definitely," she said dryly when she heard a sigh. For some reason inexplicable to her, she couldn't really do anything with these winged creatures. She already knew it somewhere inside her, but now she didn't want to spoil the happier mood of her friends. They sat next to each other and watched the elves fascinatingly.
"We know that ourselves, Nini ..." Vröni laughed at her. Not only had she recovered from the initial shock, which had long since turned into pleasure and fascination, Moni, like Vröni, was also fascinated by these beings.
She was about to say something when she was interrupted by a beeping voice.
"Hihi ...", this voice giggled, "should we show you something?"
All three had to be amazed to find that one of the winged people had spoken. A black-haired elf with greenish wings and a dark green 'dress' looked at her with a grin. The friends shot each other a look that reflected the feelings and thoughts of each one.
"Why not?" Asked Nini with a shrug.
"Yes, it can't hurt," Moni agreed and Vröni was of the same opinion. "Can only be good, right?", She winked at her girls with a smile.
"Well, come with me!" Said the elf, when she was already taking off, so fast that the three friends could hardly follow her.
"Not so fast!", Moni and Nini shouted at the same time.
Immediately the elf stopped and turned around.
"'Sorry..."
The elf flew a little slower. "What's your name anyway?" Vröni asked, still fascinated by this small, graceful figure. The elf turned and flew backwards. "My name is Cathy."
After a while they were there. But at first glance there was nothing worth seeing. "What's supposed to be here?" Asked Nini. They looked around. There were only oddly large mushrooms that reached about their knees and a small, clear stream."Take a closer look," said Cathy with a smile. And in fact they now recognized what the elf wanted to show them.
The mushrooms had several holes under their umbrella and one was bigger than all the others. They were houses! And from above they also saw a certain structure. The houses weren't just spread out on the ground, you saw something like streets, but the three of them doubted you would walk through them. The little creatures flew through. And a little further back you could see a particularly large house. It consisted of several mushrooms and was supposed to be a lock. "Who lives there?", Moni asked curiously what she was like. “Our queen. She rules the village.” A second fairy, blonde and purple-eyed, came flying over and said: “No, she tyrannizes the village.” Her undertone showed disgust and helplessness. She wanted to say something else, but Cathy snapped at her: "You mustn't say something like that, Mel! Her guards are everywhere here and you will be punished if they hear it!"The three friends looked at each other. A tyrannical elf queen? That sounded a bit strange. Should they believe that? Or were they duped, for whatever reason.
The brown-haired girl stepped slowly over the mushrooms, always careful not to destroy anything. It was a wondrous world they found themselves in and at first they were shocked, but now this fear gave way to pure curiosity.
"Well, how do you like it here?", A tender elf wanted to know from Nini. "It ... is really ... great here!" She managed with difficulty, not wanting to offend this delicate creature in front of her. Because actually she didn't like it here at all!
The environment was very much characterized by lilies, as Moni was able to see immediately. And the arrangement of these valuable and beautiful flowers was reminiscent of a protective wall. What were the elves afraid of? And why did they hate their leader so much? These and similar questions spat around in her head.
"And have you seen the little elf guards yet?", Vröni wanted to know directly and with a thoughtful look." Yes! And something is very fishy here! ", Nini answered inquiringly. And she was to be proved right!" But what do we do now? How do we find out what's going on here? "This question came again from Vröni, who had a strong urge to be curious." Let that be my concern! ", Moni said with a wink and disappeared with a group of elves.
The other two looked at each other questioningly, but only shrugged their shoulders and let Moni do her "work"!
When the elves saw the 'somewhat tall' black-haired girl, no wonder because the girl was about 50 times taller than the winged one, they backed away a little startled.
"Excuse me, I didn't mean to scare you," said Moni with a friendly smile as she crouched down.
The elves looked at each other slightly unsettled, but the young girl was not deterred.
While Moni scared the elves slightly, unintentionally, Nini and Vröni were further thinking and 'planning'."I would like to know what Moni is doing with the elves over there. Hopefully she'll get something
