When DREAMS come TRUE...

haste Moni stumbled over one of the sleeping monsters, which woke up as a result. "Shit," she cursed muffled. And before it could even make a sound, the girl grabbed a large stone and hit the cattle, whereupon they began to sleep again. Sighing in relief, she quickly followed the other two.
Now they were standing in front of a small glass dome under which an elf was sitting. She was wearing a beautiful little dress and a tiara on her head. It was clearly the queen. When she saw the girls, she flapped her wings in delight and pressed her nose to the glass.
Slowly Nini lifted the glass dome and the winged creature was free. Almost at least. Now all they had to do was leave the cave. But that turned out to be difficult when suddenly some of the trolls woke up and grunted to let their cronies know. "RUNS!", Vröni shouted and they did.

The girls ran as if the whips themselves were their masters. They reached a pace that under normal circumstances they would not have been able to maintain for long.
But fear gnawed at them and so they were able to run faster. An eternal race that only came to an end when the trolls caught the girls. But suddenly Moni had an idea and let herself fall back to Nini, who was running behind her. "We ... have to ... to a ... lake!", Moni gasped and didn't even try to explain her further plan, because that would only have lost her energy. But Nini understood and obediently nodded. Vröni, who ran at the top, could only understand fragments of words, like Lake and us. But she quickly noticed that her friends were looking for water and asked the elf flying next to her where the nearest lake was. She promptly replied that they only had to walk a little longer. "Guide everyone there! We'll follow you later!" She shouted and fell back to the other two.
"Hey, are you there too?", Nini asked, amused, when she saw how difficult it was for Vröni to run slowly. Giggling, she nodded and explained to her friends where the nearest lake was.
"Great!", Moni shouted and thrust her hand in the air with joy. But in the next moment she regretted this gesture again, because she now had a terrible stitch. "Look!", Nini suddenly called and pointed to a green-bluish shimmering lake. "Perfect!", Moni said and ran into the water. "Come in too ... quickly!" She ordered the others.Vröni and Nini looked at each other with a shrug and then did the same. The small, delicate elves also slowly floated into the green-bluish water. Now everyone looked excitedly at Moni and she in turn looked at the trolls, who were now slowly approaching. Without paying attention to their surroundings, they ran into the lake and that was their undoing: As soon as the water had touched their body, the creatures began to whimper and they slowly began to evaporate. The only thing left was the clothes.
"Where ... How did you know?", Nini asked her black-haired friend, visibly astonished. "From a movie!" She gasped and the other two joined in too.
The little elves cheered their rescuers and the elf queen gave the three of them a silver bracelet with an engraving on it: The light protect you!
Hopefully it would protect the three of them too ...
