The school bell rang, signaling the end of the school day. Everyone got up, packed up their things and ignored the teacher who was trying to give them homework. They stormed out of the room with some farewell greetings to their friends and made their way home. In doing so, they ignored the girl who took her time packing. Nobody talked to me about her.
The blue-haired girl stayed a little longer because she didn't want to go home yet, and secondly to ask her new teacher again about the assignments. "Excuse me, Mr. Richards. Could you perhaps tell me again what to do by Thursday?" Relieved that there was at least one student interested in the class, he explained the tasks to the sixteen-year-old and dismissed her.Slowly, shuffling steps, she went the same way as always. She called it the "way to hell". Because her personal devil was waiting at home. But as long as she wasn't there, she tried to suppress her thoughts so as not to fall into a sad, melancholy and almost desperate mood outside the house.
But that happened suddenly when she got there and saw her younger sister. Because she smiled at her almost disparagingly. As if she were a piece of dirt that stained the clean slate of her family, which consisted of people of high social standing.
She ignored that look - at least tried to - and went to her room. Or rather in their dungeons. Everything was set up impersonally, nothing to suggest that a teen lived here, because there were no posters of any boy band on the wall, no photos. It was chalky white, just like her bed linen. The cupboard, the desk and the wooden chair were maroon. The room looked like a room in a hotel.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door and she called a quiet "in". It was her cousin and only friend, Neji. "How are you?" He asked with a smile. She couldn't smile for a long time. She only managed to move the corners of her mouth slightly upwards. "As always," was her short answer. But she didn't need to explain it in more detail, Neji knew exactly what was going on and therefore it hurt him all the more to pronounce the next words. “Hinata, I'm here because I have to tell you something.” Sensing something bad, the girl nodded and the two sat down on the bed. “Your father wants me to study.” She didn't quite understand what the problem was and was silent. “I'm going to have to move to California.” “W-what?” She sat there as if moved by thunder and looked into his face. He couldn't go! He just wasn't allowed to. "Neji, you are the only one who is there for me! How am I supposed to get along without you?"Salty tears ran down her cheeks and her hoarse voice reached his ear. He didn't know what to answer, he didn't want to leave either, but he would never be able to assert himself against the will of Hiashi Hyuuga.
“I'll leave tomorrow.” The words seemed like another blow to her. She would be all alone. With the people they really love and shouldn't despise. How was she supposed to survive this?
