The cycle of fate

With a gentle look she looked out the window. In front of her was Konoha, the village she loved so much. But she would have to leave it anyway. Because the time had come to do her job. All her life she had felt like she was looking for someone in particular. And some feeling told her that she would find one today.

Since she was born, her parents had hidden from her that one day she would face the reincarnation of darkness.

That she was the reincarnation of light.
Sakura Haruno, the mistress of the sun and the moon.

You would face Itachi Uchiha, Lord of Darkness.

She turned around with a soft smile. She would unite with Itachi and die. And at some point a new incarnation would be born again. Such was the course of fate.

With floating, noiseless steps she went out of the house and passed through the gate of Konoha.The guards fell asleep briefly, but woke up after Sakura disappeared into the forest.
Then she came to a clearing where he was standing.
Itachi looked at her. There was no emotion in his eyes. They just radiated incredible darkness.

Black eyes met green eyes.

Cold and warm,
Fire and water,
Darkness and light collided.

"Are you ready?" Asked her opposite in a cold voice.
She nodded. "Yes!"
"Then let's end it!"
"No, we're starting.", Sakura replied in a velvety voice.
Itachi frowned.
"If you think."
They walked towards each other with firm steps. They stopped a short distance from each other. Reluctantly, Sakura held out her hand. She didn't know what to do. She was only told that she was the reincarnation of light and that she would face the reincarnation of darkness on the day when Earth, Mars and Jupiter were in a straight line.And that day was today.
A power within her had drawn her to this clearing, and now she stood here. A meter away from him.

She felt the urge to touch Itachi. Suddenly Itachi overcame one meter and pulled her into his arms. "I've been looking for you all my life," he said in a low voice. Now everything became clear to Sakura. She had been looking for Itachi all along.

He was of an evil nature. You good. They were so different, and yet one could not live without the other.
They were two sides of the same coin.
They were ying and yang.

Then they kissed and a huge explosion of light and darkness swept over everything in the vicinity.

Still in a deep embrace, the two destroyed each other.

They hated each other and yet they loved each other.

Very close to each other, and yet so far away.
