discovered. Once there, she sat down on one of the swings. She had stopped crying because her tears had run dry.
Maybe she had cried too often in her life. But she had never done it when someone was there, only in the evening in her room when no one could see it.Sakura had often secretly cried. She had started to hate her life. She had hoped to forget all her worries on this one evening but her grief had overcame her again. It was desperate.
Sakura just sat there and looked into space. She felt almost nothing of her surroundings anymore. She was alone. Not just now, she had actually always been alone. Sakura had parents and relatives who loved her, but no one had ever really looked after her. She had to become independent very early on. Sakura had never really had friends and it was her greatest dream to have them. Not those that she only liked for their money, but those who would go through thick and thin with her. At Christmas she had never wanted any material things, why shouldn't she, after all, she had everything, but friends. That was her only wish that she still had.
Sakura had forgotten everything around her.She didn't even notice that a man walked up to her and shook her shoulders. It was only when he started calling her name that she was startled from her thoughts and looked at him fearfully.
"Sakura, it's just James. I've been looking for you everywhere. Your mother is worried about you.", The employee said to her mother worried. She quickly wiped the remains of her tears from her face and gave him a playful smile. "Sorry. I'll be right there," she said and her voice was surprisingly firm. Together they went to the car and got in. He in the driver's seat and she in the back seat of the dark blue car.
When they got home after about 10 minutes, Sakura was so tired that she didn't even respond to her angry mother who asked her angrily where she had been for so long.
"Morning, yes?", Sakura managed to get out and walked past her confused mother, up the stairs to her room.
Slowly she took off her, once again, much too high shoes and then the rain-soaked dress. She quickly put on a pair of gray shorts and a black T-shirt as pajamas and yawned into her bed. When she lay there she couldn't sleep, even though she was actually dead tired. Too many things were floating in her head at the moment. She turned to the side and closed her eyes, hoping to finally fall asleep. She lay there for quite a while and with the best will in the world could not sleep. But at some point she was so tired of all the crying and all that she had experienced and she fell into a restless, dreamless sleep.
