Chapter: Runaway ~

Darkness, no light, cold and emptiness that was all that Sakura heard. Then she opened her eyes and sat up. She was awake again and at home, but nothing in her bed had changed.
It was dark and no lights were on. So dark that she couldn't see anything. There was only cold and emptiness in her. Despite all the alcohol she could remember yesterday evening very well, although she would have liked to forget everything.
Her eyes were empty and slowly filled with hot tears. No other emotions could be seen on her face. When the tears ran down her cheeks, you could finally see that she was still alive at all.
She was sick and her head hurt like hell. But she still didn't move. Unable to move a muscle, she just sat silently on her bed and stared into space. Sakura just couldn't take it anymore and got up ...

It was still early in the morning when the maid, Clarens, knocked on Sakura's door to enter the room like every morning and bring Sakura out of the realm of dreams. It was tedious work, but someone had to do it. And that someone she was. Clarens sighed again before smoothing her signature black skirt and opening the door. She entered the large room with a small, shy smile on her face and looked at the bed. She paused. There was no sakura in the large four-poster bed. The bed hadn't been made either, but looked exactly as if Sakura had just got up. But if Sakura had got up earlier and went downstairs, would Clarens have seen her after all, or had she got up before Clarens woke up?
"Miss Sakura. Where are you? Ahem ... where are you?", She asked a little louder than usual.
No sakura.
Then she went into the bathroom and saw:
No sakura.
"Damn it, where could she have gone at half past six in the morning. Sure, she didn't go to school that early.", mumbled to herself. Then she raced down the stairs into the bedroom of Sakura's parents. Ms. Haruno had just finished changing clothes and Sakura's father had already gone to work.
"Madam. Your daughter, she has ... disappeared!" She gasped because she was so out of breath.
"I beg your pardon?!"

Meanwhile, Sakura sat on a swing and slowly rocked back and forth. Her tears had now dried up again. She was in the place she was yesterday after the party. She didn't know why she'd come here, of all places, but she definitely didn't want to go home or to school. She preferred to go where no one knew her and that was here. Here at least she didn't have to answer any annoying questions. She was too exhausted from last night for that. Her headache hadn't stopped, but rather got worse.
// I would have preferred to have another aspirin before I left the house ... //
Sakura gave a resigned sigh. She was alone again, but this time it didn't even bother her. Sakura didn't want to be disturbed. She knew that her mother would be looking for her soon, but the time she still had before she had to go home and listen to a sermon from her mother. She scratched the sand on the ground with her feet. She was completely lost in thought. She thought about what happened, what will happen, and what to do now. Should Sakura really 'hide' here for the rest of the day? No, absolutely not. But she couldn't go home. Not yet. What should she do?

While on the other side of the street:

"Ino, how long should I still carry your bags?", A blue-haired, young woman asked slightly irritated a blonde who was walking in front of her.
"Oh, don't stand next to Hina-chan like that. Last time you also hung up your shopping bags for me and they were much heavier. Also, my wrists hurt from wearing them.""But ...", Hinata began, but she was interrupted by her blonde friend.
"No buts. And now I wanted to go to the pretty little boutique where I saw the cute, red top with the little bows. Hach ...", Ino languished to himself.
It was always so exhausting to go shopping with Ino. It literally dragged you from one store to another without a break. Hinata sighed in resignation and dragged herself behind her friend.
"You Ino do you even know where we are? I think we have lost each other ..."
"Oh nonsense! I know exactly where we are ... We are ...", Ino said, slightly annoyed, and looked around. Hinata also looked around for a street sign or the like.
Nothing.

Suddenly the blue-haired woman's eyes wandered over the playground across the street. And she saw a pink head of hair.
"Hm ... Look, Ino, isn't that Sakura over there?", She said to her friend and pointed to the old playground opposite. When Ino looked over at Sakura, her eyes darkened immediately. "Come on, Hinata, let's go on.", She said and if you listened carefully you could hear the sad undertone in Ino's voice.
But Hinata had already made her way across the street.

"Oh come on. Maybe she knows her way around here. She's nice and will definitely be happy to help." With these words she was already on the other side of the street and marched with her heavy bags towards the playground.
"Shit ... Hinata.", She mumbled to herself and looked alternately in the direction in which she wanted to go and in the direction in which Hinata had gone.
Ino paused briefly and mumbled something incomprehensible to herself, but then she followed her blue-haired friend towards Sakura.

While eating, Sakura was still sitting on the old swing that squeaked dangerously back and forth with everyone. She looked up at the sky in the hope that there might be answers to the many questions that were floating around in her head. When she looked ahead again she saw a smiling blue-haired girl who came up to her and a blonde who ran after the blue-haired girl. // Hinata and Ino! // it shot through her mind.
"What are they doing here?", She asked herself quietly and had to go back to Ino's words from yesterday. She should stay away from them, then why did they come to her? Sakura sighed. She really didn't want to talk to any people and especially not to them.

When Hinata finally got to Sakura she gave her a friendly smile.
"Hey, Saku!", She said and sat on the other swing.
"Hmh.", Sakura muttered to herself so that Hinata barely understood her and Sakura didn't even look at her. Ino slowly came to the two of them and stood a little to one side. When Sakura looked up, Ino quickly looked away. Why was Hinata so nice to her? Didn't Ino Hinata tell you what happened yesterday?
"Do you know too much where we are? We got lost.", Hinata broke the silence.
Sakura looked at Hinata and told her the name of the street they were on.

"Thanks! Um, would you like to go shopping with us?", Hinata asked and got up from the swing.
// Why are you not at school? //, thought Sakura and slowly doing nice things was becoming too much for her.
"Tell me what do you actually want from me? I should stay away from you, but you come to me and act in a friendly manner. What is that supposed to mean," she said angrily and also got up. Caught up, he clapped his forehead with the palm of his hand. She really hadn't said anything to Hinata. Ino hadn't told anyone what she said to Sakura yesterday. Only Shikamaru knew something about it, since he had received everything.
"But-but you don't have to stay away from us at all! Who says that?", Hinata asked her confused.

"Just ask your 'nice' friend.", She said, annoyed by this innocence. Ino had stayed out of the conversation the whole time. She just wanted to leave as soon as possible. But now she could no longer stay out of it, because it was about her indirectly.
"Is that Ino? Did you tell Sakura that?" Hinata asked her friend in disbelief.
Ino sighed. That was not how she had imagined it. She briefly considered what to say now. But in the end she chose the truth.
"Yes I did. But I didn't mean it badly, I just didn't want you to become like us and to get drunk and stoned unnecessarily every night ...", she paused briefly, "... And it-it does. ..sorry! ", she finally managed and looked at Sakura apologetically.
"Is that a bad joke? I was totally exhausted yesterday after your words!, She said and noticed how tears were collecting in her eyes again. Hinata put a hand on her shoulder to comfort her a little. Now Sakura started properly She let out her tears for the second time that day."Shhhht is good.", Hinata tried to comfort her further.
"II ...", Ino didn't know what to say. She only saw HInata, her best friend who comforted Sakura and that because Ino broke everything. Ino felt like she was superfluous here. It felt like she was the bad guy and Sakura the good guy. And good always wins over bad, as Ino admitted. Tears slowly formed in her eyes too. She had never wanted that! She didn't want to hurt Sakura so badly. She slowly took a few steps backwards. Then she turned and ran away. Tears ran down her cheeks as she ran.

//Damn it! I didn't mean to hurt her! This is all my fault! //, she thought as she turned a corner. She just wanted to get away from them both. She didn't want to do any more. Ino felt a sharp pain in his chest. She actually found Sakura likable from the start, but hadn't really shown it.Sakura was kind of like her before. Ino had also had a lot of inhibitions about alcohol and was a little naive. She also came from a wealthy family. But one day her mother passed away and her father began to get drunk, her father's company went downhill and they lost everything.

That's why Ino had started to party every evening and tried to forget her worries. At first she had no one left. No mother, no friends and her father was almost never home. But one day she met Hinata at a party that she had taken dearly. She had also been the first person she could tell her feelings about since her mother's death. Shikamaru, too, had always been of great help to her. When she was feeling bad, he always comforted her.

"Exactly Shikamaru ..." she muttered to herself. He was the only person who had ever understood her. And that's exactly what she wanted to go to.Because she didn't want to
