Miroku got his friends and himself a place to sleep through his "ability" (to cast out ghosts). They ate some delicious Kagome soup, then they all went to sleep. In the middle of the night, Kagome woke up to a nightmare. She looked around the room and smiled at her friends as they were all there. But where was Inuyasha? As always, Kagome was very worried about him. So she went out of the house and went into the grove which was close to the village. Because she somehow knew how Inuyasha was there. "He can experience something, just run away in the middle of the night," kagome complains to himself. Kagome ran for a while before she heard Innuyasha's voice: she heard something like: "No, I'm not leaving you ... she means nothing to me ..." Who is he talking to and what does he mean? thought Kagome as she got closer and closer. When she could see what she saw Kikyou! "Oh, no Kikyou what does she want here and what is Inuyasha doing with her?Kagome asked herself. Schell she hid behind a tree and hoped she wouldn't be noticed. She listened! Inuyasha will you stay with me forever? Kikyou asked (she knew of course that Kagome was there) with a sad look. "Sure I'll stay with you, I just have to find the remaining splinters and bring Naraku down and then we can finally be together"! With that Inuyasha said, he kissed her.
Kagome who saw it all almost tore the heart, how much she would like to be in place of Kikyous. But suddenly Kikyou broke loose and began to speak: "What about this cheap copy (Kagome)?" I need it, it has to find the splinters for me, and it has to stay with me that long, "he replied.
When Kagome heard these words, a world fell apart for her! Now she couldn't, she just ran off and sobbed miserably. (Kikyou grinned nastily when she noticed that it hurt Kagome a lot).
Inuyasha suddenly heard a smoke that was moving quickly: "What was that?he thought. But before he could answer the questions, Kikyou breathed a kiss on the lips. And Inuyasha didn't want to leave anymore and see what that was now.
In the morning Kagome woke up first in the room and looked at Inuyasha who was now there too. "What should I do? Am I just a search engine for him?" Were her first thoughts. But she got up and made breakfast for everyone. Shortly afterwards, Sango emerged from her dream world, where everything was fine. She also helped make breakfast and immediately noticed that her friend was not doing well. "Kagome what's wrong with you? You look so sad." Sango asked. "Oh, it's nothing, I'm fine," replied Kagome and put a mock smile on what she doesn't really manage. "Ok Kagome if that's the case but if you want to talk you know where I am!" Her friend came back right away. When they were done, Miroku and Inuyasha joined them.During the meal Miroku asked Kagome what was going on and when he did that, Inuyasha pricked up his ears, too, because he also noticed that Kagome was not as happy as usual. Kagome's heart was beating like crazy when she heard Miroku's question. In her head there were only Inuyasha's words, nothing else. “What should I say?” She asked herself with a pained look. "What is she doing? Inuyasha thought too. Thought done" What is wrong with you again? he asked very coolly. When Kagome heard that it was all over! A tear ran down her face, and then she screamed: "Inuyasha (she took a deep breath) MAKE SPACE !!!!".
Bang, Boom, it was already on the floor.
Kagome jumped up in time and ran into the village.
Everyone looked at Inuyasha and he knew what that meant. He ran after her now. "What is she doing? He thought. Inuyasha caught up with her in the middle of the village and immediately held her hand tight. Kagome turned to Inuyasha. When she did that he noticed that she was crying bitterly. He looked at her with wide eyes .Inuyasha could never take it when she cried. Now he asked her in a soft voice: "What's wrong? Please tell me, maybe I can help you ??"
HELP, you want to HELP me !? Especially you who only need me as a "search engine"! "shouted kagome in a very sad voice." Inuyasha I saw you with Kikyou yesterday !!!! she said a little more calmly.
Suddenly Inuyasha looked at her and thought of the smell "So it was you"?
"Yes, it was me and I can no longer have your splinters here! I'm going and I won't be back either! Oh yes and have fun with your Kikyou!" With these words she tore herself away and ran towards the fountain.
