After a while a soldier came out and looked at the woman in front of him skeptically until he then questioned her.
"What are you doing here?" Asked the soldier gruffly. The former princess was not used to such a tone, but she had to get used to it.
"Please, sir. I am looking for a place to stay for myself and my son. I would also do the basest work. Please take me in!" Pleaded the young mother. The soldier wanted to let her in, but then he saw that the child had dog ears. That would mean…
"You have been with a youkai! Get out! Make your land win with the dung-birth!" The soldier yelled at the woman. This backed off a bit. Her heart ached very much. Kimiko, who was nearby, gritted her teeth to keep the man's head from tearing off. Then the lord of the castle went to the soldier and looked at him questioningly. The soldier bowed deeply, pointed to Izayoi and spoke hatefully to his master about the woman."Sir, forgive me this tone, but this woman has a place to stay for herself and her son." He said the last thing with great contempt, but before his master could say anything, the man continued .
“I wanted to let her go, but then I discovered that. Your son is a damnedHanyou." The lord's expression darkened strongly and looked at Izayoi angrily.
"Make that you leave here or you will be killed!" Threatened the lord of the castle to the poor woman. This naturally wanted to run away when the Youkai princess gently came up next to her on the floor and glared at the two men. The youkai clearly had enough. She finally had to intervene!
The two men backed away a little and they called the rest of the soldiers. Soon after, Izayoi, InuYasha and Kimiko were surrounded, but the youkai didn't mind.
"Why do you deny this woman the job and the place to stay? And what does it matter that her son is a Hanyou?After all, you have a child with the enemy princess, don't you Lord Takemaru? ", Kimiko asked the lord of the castle urgently. She knew quite a few secrets of the people and this was one of them.
Lord Takemaru drew in a violent breath. How did this youkai know? What should he do now? His soldiers looked at him in surprise.
"And if so? That's more acceptable than a hanyou!", The lord went on the offensive. The soldiers were amazed. Your lord had a child with the enemy?
"Tell me why you chose the princess," demanded the Youkai princess. Izayoi was amazed. What was Kimiko up to?
"I just love her. Is that a crime?" Asked Lord Takemaru challengingly, but then a light dawned on him. The youkai had it in hand now.
"So love ... This woman also loves the child's father. So tell me, is that a crime? But you said to yourselves it was not a crime. So it is not a crime here either. Take this woman in and treat her well."And her son too. That's why this castle is under my protection, "said Kimiko without pausing.
The lord was silent for a while, but then he asked Kimiko something.
“Who are you?” It was a simple question, but there were some answers. But the answer he received shocked him to the core.
"I'm Kimiko. Heir to the throne of the youkai rule of the entire country," said the young youkai confidently.
A cold chill ran down their spines. Kimiko's power was well known in this area and one should not be angry with her.
"We'll take in the woman and the hanyou, but only if we really get protection," said the lord. Kimiko nodded and added.
“If you stick to the bargain, then I'll stick to it.” The Lord and Kimiko shook hands and Kimiko protected the lock. Izayoi got a room with InuYasha and sometimes worked in the kitchen. But the future still held painful things in store for them.Sesshoumaru followed the smell of Kimiko and soon arrived at the hut, but could not enter it. 'A spell!
