Die Schatten der Nacht

The move

Sumai Saiciro sat bored in the back seat of the Vanquisch and absently looked outside.
They didn't care that they were in the capital of Japan.
It poured out of buckets and despite this, or perhaps because of that, the city was jam-packed.
Sumai Saiciro was a 16 year old girl with blood red hair and open and friendly smiley eyes.
She was about 1.71 m tall, slim and her loose hair reached below her knees.
"Sumai, don't look like that! You will surely like it too!" Said Sora Saiciro.
Sora was her eight year old brother, who adored her since Sakura disappeared.
She smiled at him and then, not a second later, sank back into her thoughts.
Sakura disappeared four years ago and has not been seen since.
Sakura had been her parents' favorite.
She was blessed with a beauty that was like a goddess and the gentleness of angels.
She was a year older than Sumai and was always cheerful and nice.Pink hair that she had from her mother and brown eyes from her father. Everyone liked her and then the shock came when she disappeared.

[i]It was a sultry summer evening when Sakura was on the way to church with the grouching Sumai.
"Sakura, please let go of me! I don't want to go there! You know that I can no longer move then, and I'm hungry!" She shouted.
Sakura spun around and slapped her on the face.
"Just because you are hungry I have to take you there! Mother and father don't want to believe me when I tell them that you are not normal, but the priest will drive out the demon in you!", The pink-haired woman shouted at.
"What do you mean by that ?! What are you talking about? Let go of me!", Sumai yelled at her and pushed her away.
Sakura was thrown into a tree, but quickly got up again.
When she looked her little sister in the eye she was almost scared to death.
They were no longer bright green but made of such pure silver that one believed to have fallen into a silver mine. But it wasn't just the color that had changed, her pupils had a different shape too, because they had become slits, her hair was also silver and a dangerously dark aura surrounded her.
But the gaze of the little Sumai was behind Sakura and she sucked in a shocked breath, so that she spun around and bumped into a boy of about 19 years who had stepped behind her.
He had short black hair, the tips of which hung over his face and the same silver eyes as Sumai straight and a tattoo in the shape of a wolf. Sumai couldn't see anything more at such a distance, although her eyesight had improved a lot.
Then all of her senses were exceeded by her sense of smell, for she suddenly smelled blood. Without noticing it she walked closer and when she noticed she was only five paces away from the two of them, but now she didn't look at the boy but looked at Sakura's neck.
The boy had his teeth hammered into Sakura's throat and was eagerly sucking her blood.Sumai raised his head and let out a marrow-shocking scream that couldn't be from a human being.
Everywhere within five kilometers, individual beings raised their heads.
Only they had heard this scream, which could not be heard by a human.
Flames played around Sumai and she looked at the boy with such a cold look that a shiver ran down his spine.
He watched in amazement as her eyes returned to their original color and the little girl fell over.
Sumai later remembered none of this, only the boy with the silver eyes, the gold pendant around his neck and the wolf tattoo on the inside of the right wrist.

Her parents, of course, blamed her and hated her ever since.
Sora, who until then was fixated on his biggest sister, is now attached to Sumai.
Sasako and Takagi, their mother and father, had bought a house in Tokyo and now they are moving. They had previously lived in Fukuoka, but this place was associated with sad memories for their parents and so they decided to move.
Sora found it difficult to say goodbye to his friends, but Sumai had no friends and so she only followed all this half-heartedly.
She was torn from her thoughts when the car stopped.
They had arrived at their new home.
A white moving van was parked in front of them, in which all their belongings were and the unskilled workers were just bringing in the washing machine.
Her parents got out, her brother had already jumped out of the car, of course, and gave the workers instructions on where to put everything.
Sumai was just getting out of the car when one of the workers dropped her box with the manga, as it weighed at least 12 kilos. Sumai left the car door open and approached the man. While his foreman snarled at him, the man looked at her apologetically.
Sumai smiled and nodded to him.
"You haven't hurt yourself, have you?"she asked worried.
The foreman fell silent and they both looked at her in confusion.
The worker shook his head.
"N ... no, everything is fine with me. I was just a little scared. There is a spider on the box and I'm terrified of the critters, besides, I could hardly lift the box, it is that heavy." he said slowly.
The foreman continued to stare in amazement. After all, it didn't often happen that the richest girl in the world asked you if everything was okay.
Suddenly she looked frightened and climbed into the car, shortly afterwards she came out with a cage. Three black widows sat in it.
"I'm sorry, the spider escaped from me. Weren't you bitten? It's a very poisonous species of the senses," she asked again, took the fourth one from the box and put it back in the cage.
The man shook his head again and the girl looked relieved.
"Well, if the box is too heavy for you, I'll take it.", she said.
She tucked the cage under her left arm and picked up the box with her right.
The men looked at her in amazement, but she just walked past them.
She went into the house and looked around, then went into a room that was completely empty.
She put the box down, put the cage on it, then went to the sliding door on the other side of the room and pushed it open.
What she saw took her breath away.
In front of her was a garden and flowers were blooming everywhere. But the most beautiful thing was a cherry blossom tree in the middle of the garden. If you opened the door, the blich fell immediately on the tree.
Slowly she averted her eyes and looked at the room. It was empty but huge.
Her mother came in and was about to put down one of your boxes when she saw Sumai.
"What do you want here? This will be my and my husband's bedroom, so get out there!" She snapped coldly.
Sumai looked at her contemptuously and shook his head.
"No, this will be my room so could you go please?", she asked.
"WHAT? Who said this would be your room?" Sasako asked angrily.
"Me!" Said Sumai and Sasako didn’t miss the threat that resonated.
And she didn’t miss Sumai’s eyes either.
"All right," she whispered and went out with her box.
When Sasako closed the door behind him, Sumai started scratching the inside of her wrist like crazy.
She had one on her wrist since she was born. It was a thin, red line in the shape of an egg and inside was a red bird with spread wings.
The bird was a phoenix, but Sumai did not understand its meaning.
When the itching gradually subsided, she sighed in relief, because until now this had only happened on the evening of Sakura's disappearance and it had been itching like hell for two days.
She tied a bandage around it, looked at her spiders again, then grinned. Everyone asked her why she chose such a poisonous species, but she never answered because if she did, scientists would probably use it as a test object. There were times when she was hungry, but no matter how long and how much she ate, she was never full. Whenever such a moment came, she took out one of the spiders and teased it until it bite. The poison did not kill them but rather satiated their hunger.
Now she sighed heavily. The last time she was hungry was unfortunately only two days ago.
Suddenly she heard a noise behind her and whirled around.
In front of her was a boy, about 19 years old. Short black hair, the tips of which hung over his face and his cold gray eyes were almost invisible.
Sumai recognized him immediately, even if it was actually impossible that it was the same person.
A growl rose from her throat and the follicle of her hair turned silver.
"You! What does my sister's murderer want from me?" She asked coolly.
The boy took a closer look at them and then grinned angrily.
"What should I want from you? I'm hungry, so I'll kill you!"he said coldly and took a few steps closer.
He actually expected her to back down, yell for help or something that could tell that she was scared.
But he was wrong because she stared at him completely fearless and stopped.
However, her hair was now completely silver and her eyes were the same color.
The boy looked at her in amazement. What kind of strange person was that? Why did the color of her hair and eyes change? It was almost like his kind, only that his clan didn't change the hair color.
"Why did it have to be my sister? You should have killed me, then everyone would be satisfied! She would be there and I would be dead. You can't imagine how many would like our places to be swapped!" She hissed at him and in front of him Anger, she threw the cage over with the spiders, which immediately ran away.
Suddenly they winced, both smelling the intense smell of fresh blood.
The boy spun around as Sumai passed him.Sora had climbed and fallen on the tree, but luckily he had only grazed his knee.
"Sora, did something happen to you?" Sumai asked worriedly.
The boy had hidden behind the door and watched everything, and he didn’t miss how Sumai looked at the blood.
"Sumai, my knee hurts!", Sora moans and in his excitement didn't even notice that Sumai looked different.
"Go to mother and tell her to clean it and put a plaster on it.", She told him, because she was too clearly aware of the blood
